09/11/2025: Discovered by chance on a very early Sunday afternoon in November. They welcomed us despite the late hour. We ate very well, drank equally well, and paid a fair price. The staff was friendly and quick. Recommended!

18/01/2026: Visited A Casa di Nonna for dinner in october. The food was very good and authentic although the portion size could have been bigger for us. The staff which were all quite young were very friendly and quick. We had a table on the terrace near a speakerbox which was a little bit too loud.

02/10/2025: We've traveled extensively in Italy, and this is the best gelato we've ever had! Delicious and creamy, and the flavors are incredible. Only natural ingredients are used. Everything is truly delicious! The fruit gelatos, like pineapple, strawberry, pistachio, and hazelnut, are magical. Worth a visit!

28/03/2026: We stayed at this wonderful agriturismo today: green meadows, children's playground, and well-kept, docile animals. We ate divinely, and the waitress was incredibly kind and patient. We spent the afternoon on the green meadow, where the children played freely, and as we were leaving, the owner invited us to stay as long as we wanted, because "no one will turn you away here; enjoy this sunny day." Kindness and respect, excellent food, a wonderful day! See you again very soon!

And when the young chef, Manuele Senis, works his magic in the open kitchen, you absolutely must be there in the small dining room, whose vintage movie posters evoke the golden age of Italian Cinecittà. For a remarkably reasonable price, you can choose from two first-class six-course tasting menus: one featuring fish or meat, and the other vegetarian. Manuele masterfully balances the traditional influences of Sardinian cuisine with a modern, product-focused Mediterranean approach. And there's always a new surprise on your plate! Malania, who manages the service with expertise and meticulous attention to detail, also oversees the wine cellar and bar. Here, excellent advice, professional service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere come together. Melania and Manuele not only stand behind their first names, but also their personalities, experience and love for their restaurant, making the small Via Circonvallazione a charming pilgrimage site for gourmets.

21/12/2025: Last night I treated myself to a few dishes at this small, welcoming restaurant, where I immediately felt at ease. Delicious dishes prepared with quality ingredients, an open kitchen that demonstrates the chef's expertise and passion, a pleasant and attentive staff, and a well-kept and tastefully decorated dining room and ambiance... What more can I say? It will be a go-to place for the next time I'm in the area. Highly recommended!

24/02/2026: Christian Collu has created a truly enchanting place with Machrì al Mare. Directly opposite the 1000-year-old pilgrimage church of Sant Efisio, a culinary epicenter for Pula has emerged. On one side, a pizzeria and café; on the other, creative fine dining just shy of Michelin-starred status. Enjoy sea views from the terrace on one side and views of the lagoon and the mountain range on the other. The decor is stylish and tasteful, though the visual and acoustic separation between the kitchen and service areas could use some improvement. The cuisine is creative and showcases the full spectrum of new, fresh Sardinian dishes. A must-try!

26/10/2025: Warm welcome and excellent cuisine. We ate a delicious mullet carpaccio with bottarga, followed by black rice with octopus flavored with fish broth. Perfect flavors from start to finish. A lime sorbet to finish. A very generous limoncello spritz. 2 glasses of a local white wine full of character. Everything is just right in the flavors and cooking. All for 70 euros per person, which seemed justified to us.

21/09/2025: A very good dinner in a rustic setting with outdoor seating. The menu is set, the food authentic and tasty, especially the roast suckling pig that you can watch rotating on the rotisserie. The owner is a former butcher, and the ingredients are sourced locally. The appetizers and first courses were also good. I've read in other reviews that the portions seemed insufficient: for us, they were excellent portions, and even then, the owner came over to ask if we wanted seconds. Highly recommended.

22/10/2025: I have been travelling around Sardinia for 3 weeks and our meal at Federico's has been one of the best. The roasted pecorino and savoury take on seadas was fantastic! Thank you for a memorable culinary experience while in Sardinia.
