They welcomed us despite the late hour.
We ate very well, drank equally well, and paid a fair price.
The staff was friendly and quick.
Recommended!

09/10/2025: We loved our dinner here so much we came again for my daughters birthday. Food was extremely good and exciting The chef really knows how to cook! The raw fish with the smoked almonds, the intense fregola, delicious lamb ravioli and the yoghurt mousse all stand outs. Good wine, great service.

06/09/2025: This is worth visiting when on holiday in Pula. We had twice dinner in one week and the taste and quality were superb. Instead of other reviews: the price is much better than at our nearby hotel.
Recommended and do try the homemade cheesecake for dessert!
06/09/2025: It was close to the hotel where we were staying, and we decided to try it. It has a lovely little terrace and a unique garden that gives it a magical feel. We ordered a sharing dish (fish carpaccio), very fresh and light, and then a pasta dish. I chose the Penne in Cream of Gamberi, and it was a hearty and flavorful dish. It was my choice to try something different.

02/10/2025: We've traveled extensively in Italy, and this is the best gelato we've ever had! Delicious and creamy, and the flavors are incredible. Only natural ingredients are used. Everything is truly delicious! The fruit gelatos, like pineapple, strawberry, pistachio, and hazelnut, are magical. Worth a visit!
30/09/2025: We had a milkshake and ice cream. Both were truly exceptional quality and organic. They even had gluten-free waffles for those who need them.

Everything was delicious: authentic dishes prepared with top-quality local ingredients. The dishes are generous, carefully prepared, and perfectly represent the local cuisine.
The peaceful setting, surrounded by greenery, is perfect if you want to sample authentic Sardinian flavors and enjoy a truly traditional lunch.
An absolutely worthwhile agriturismo: highly recommended for those who want to try local dishes prepared to perfection.

18/01/2026: Visited A Casa di Nonna for dinner in october. The food was very good and authentic although the portion size could have been bigger for us. The staff which were all quite young were very friendly and quick. We had a table on the terrace near a speakerbox which was a little bit too loud.
06/11/2025: We stayed there for two nights, and both times it was a good experience.
The main strength is definitely the hospitality and kindness of all the staff :)

24/02/2026: Christian Collu has created a truly enchanting place with Machrì al Mare. Directly opposite the 1000-year-old pilgrimage church of Sant Efisio, a culinary epicenter for Pula has emerged.
On one side, a pizzeria and café; on the other, creative fine dining just shy of Michelin-starred status. Enjoy sea views from the terrace on one side and views of the lagoon and the mountain range on the other.
The decor is stylish and tasteful, though the visual and acoustic separation between the kitchen and service areas could use some improvement.
The cuisine is creative and showcases the full spectrum of new, fresh Sardinian dishes. A must-try!
26/10/2025: Warm welcome and excellent cuisine. We ate a delicious mullet carpaccio with bottarga, followed by black rice with octopus flavored with fish broth. Perfect flavors from start to finish. A lime sorbet to finish. A very generous limoncello spritz. 2 glasses of a local white wine full of character. Everything is just right in the flavors and cooking. All for 70 euros per person, which seemed justified to us.

05/10/2025: The food was poor, the portions were small, and the service was pushy and downright unpleasant. I paid 32 euros for four shrimp—mediocre, according to the waitress. If they want to see a real seafood restaurant, they should come to Poland. I've never been to such a poor and dishonest restaurant in Italy. Not good for a restaurant in a seaside resort. I've been to many places, but here I felt like a cheated tourist.

04/10/2025: Wonderful place, the owner is a lovely person, friendly and full of explanations whenever you ask him a question, he showed us all his produce. Truly excellent food!
21/09/2025: A very good dinner in a rustic setting with outdoor seating. The menu is set, the food authentic and tasty, especially the roast suckling pig that you can watch rotating on the rotisserie. The owner is a former butcher, and the ingredients are sourced locally.
The appetizers and first courses were also good.
I've read in other reviews that the portions seemed insufficient: for us, they were excellent portions, and even then, the owner came over to ask if we wanted seconds.
Highly recommended.
