18/10/2024: Superlative experience. Cleanliness, food, kindness and friendliness. And then the relaxation of the countryside without being too far from the center of Otranto... perfect! A special applause in particular to the staff, Teresa and Daniele know how to pamper you in an exceptional way with their magical hands in the beautiful SPA. Giulia, Katiuscia and the colleague whose name we don't remember are always super helpful and smiling. The ladies at breakfast were friendly and super attentive to keeping the buffet always full and tidy. The restaurant staff were super competent and kind with the story of each dish and the wine chosen. In short, everything was truly beautiful and an experience to be repeated as soon as possible.

29/08/2024: Discovered by chance while walking around Otranto, a real gem. As a lactose intolerant person, it becomes increasingly difficult to find ice cream shops with a wider choice than the usual strawberry and chocolate. At the Gelateria Del fico I was able to choose from numerous flavours, all exceptional. the pistachio without milk looked like a real pistachio and let's not talk about the fig, as if I had picked it from the tree right at that moment. Quality/price 10 out of 10, congratulations!!

02/10/2024: Visita ad Otranto in una magnifica domenica mattina di fine settembre. La simpatia e la gentilezza del personale del Borghi d"Otranto ci ha attratti ad accomodarci in uno dei tavolino all'esterno. Pucce al polpo, pittule e piccola rosticceria locale accompagnati da una buona fresca birra "Terrona" (produzione locale), un'ottima esperienza, bell'ambiente e soprattutto professionalità, cortesia, simpatia ed esperienza di Rocco. Soddisfatti, consigliato.

29/08/2024: Siamo tornati dopo un pò di anni in questo Ristorante, sperando che avessero cambiato la loro politica, in relazione a prezzi e quantità delle loro pietanze e...invece siamo stati disillusi. Il pesce è fresco e ben cotto, ma pagare ben 42 euro per un vassoio (proposto per due persone)contenente cozze mollicate, una sola capesante, due scampi, una striscia di totano, un tentacolo di polpo e un piccolo pezzo di pesce ci è parso davvero esagerato!!!! Anche le altre proposte in menù avevano prezzi assai alti. Per questa cena, con l'aggiunta di un antipasto di frittura e di una insalata di mare, abbiamo speso oltre 100 euro in coppia. E ciò che è peggio siamo andati via ....non sazi. Inoltre, si mangia in estate in uno spiazzo esterno, contiguo al parcheggio macchine, che certamente non è il massimo del confort. Ultima volta che veniamo da Umberto.

12/10/2024: Very scenic restaurant, especially the outdoor room and in summer it is truly fantastic. We came to this restaurant attracted by the positive reviews, especially from locals. We ate well, but we expected something more. There are very few mixed raw seafood options and perhaps this is where we expected more: average flavor, not exceptional. The frying on the other hand was really delicious, masterfully fried!

17/09/2024: I found myself in this restaurant by chance, and I was truly pleasantly surprised, both by the location and by the service and quality of the food, very fresh, well represented aesthetically. Very friendly and courteous staff, we will definitely return.

13/11/2024: I stayed at this property in September with my partner and my two dogs. What can I say? One of the best stays I've had so far and I really think I'll be back. A place surrounded by greenery, with a beautiful swimming pool, but at the same time close to Otranto and the beaches. The bungalows are very nice and give a lot of privacy, with a very nice porch where you can eat. Excellent cleaning. The Baia dei Turchi can also be reached on foot if you like walking (about half an hour). Ps: separate praise goes to the owner Fabio: he is really kind and helpful. We also had a small problem with some sockets not working and he intervened immediately to resolve it.

08/09/2024: We stayed here for one week with two adults and three kids and it was absolutely perfect. Nice and clean house with all you need to have some relaxing days. Also the staff is really amazing, as well as the pool with a small bar which is really nice for the kids. You can find perfect places on the beach nearby and also some nice restaurants not far away. We will definitely come back when we will be in Otranto next time. I can absolutely recommend it!

15/12/2024: Eating where Italy is at home Time stopped here 100 years ago. Furnishings simple, traditional and Italian. Food absolutely at the best level. Bravo

12/09/2024: Siamo tornate da Scirocco a distanza di un anno dalla nostra ultima visita. L'accoglienza di Giulia e la sua famiglia è sempre calorosa e i piatti elaborati ma tipici sono eccezionali. Atmosfera intima e romantica permettono di godersi una serata gustosa in tranquillità e relax. Avevamo scritto nella scorsa recensione che saremmo tornate e infatti è stato così. Sarà sicuramente una tappa costante delle nostre visite in Salento!

29/08/2024: Evidently it was the wrong night. The 4 of us arrived at 8.45pm and received the starters at 9.30pm. I, 11, and D agostino, 8, waited for the first courses which, unfortunately, as well as arriving at 10.30pm, were unfortunately undercooked (spaghetti with clams and artichoke tortelli) I can't say I'm satisfied but I'm writing this review before receiving the bill. If they make me pay for everything I don't want to worry, D Agostino writes too. The owner responded and I'll tell you this! For the owner as the superior does: You made me pay for the conichiglioni and above all if I ask you for the TAX RECEIPT DON'T SAY THAT YOU GAVE IT TO ME BECAUSE YOU MADE A REALLY LIKE A PANINARO IMAGE LEARN EDUCATION! whenever you want I'll wait for you at my place in Turin

07/10/2024: Wir wurden ausgesprochen freundlich bedient. Man sitzt nett. Auch dass wir sowohl Vorspeise, Pasta und Hauptspeise teilen wollten war kein Problem. Niemand verzog das Gesicht. Und es hat hervorragend geschmeckt. Die Pasta mit Oriechiette con cime di rapa - köstlich. Die Nachspeisen, u.a. Caffe Leccese und Tiramisu - einfach perfekt. Der Wein gut, selbst der Grappa preiswert und gut trinkbar. Der Preis für alles - absolut angemessen. Wir können dieses Lokal wirklich empfehlen!

05/10/2024: Non abbiamo avuto la possibilità di mangiare perché non ci hanno fatto fermare , la risposta è stata non c’è la facciamo . Faccio presente che c’era una festa di diciott’anni che dovevano ancora arrivare (Questo è metà sana), L’altra metà era completamente vuota in più ci saranno state almeno otto persone ferme con le braccia conserte. Mi spiace molto per l’accaduto ma non è un modo di comportarsi e di rispondere alla clientela.
