24/03/2026: Highly recommended. Welcoming, tidy, and clean atmosphere. Impeccable restrooms. Ample outdoor parking. Very good food. Polite and cheerful staff. Just steps from the sanctuary. This is the second time I've had lunch there, and I'd gladly return.

04/04/2026: We visited this fantastic restaurant to celebrate my brother's graduation, and the experience was excellent. The service was friendly and welcoming, the place was impeccably clean, and the seafood menu was absolutely extraordinary. The fish, incredibly fresh, was expertly prepared, enhanced by bold yet perfectly harmonious pairings.
I will definitely return, both to savor the seafood specialties (I found the dishes so sublime I already want to order the exact same dishes again) and to discover the meat menu, which promises to be equally delicious. Top!
18/12/2025: Nothing much to say, I felt at home. The friendliness you'll find from brothers Massimo and Pio is hard to find. Stop by and relax, but don't miss their amazing cuisine. They modestly say it's all thanks to their mother, but it's the entire staff that makes it happen. A special and affectionate shoutout to Luca. Come on, guys, you're great.

09/03/2026: A beautiful little restaurant, the food is amazing! I had the tagliolino with white truffle, and it was delicious. The meat and cheese selection was superb, lots of local ingredients and strong, unique flavors. A must visit for tourists! One of the servers spoke good enough English to recommend some dishes on the menu.

04/04/2026: It was on our list of places to visit, to try, and we finally went. In my opinion, it's a wine bar with a kitchen, serving good, high-quality osteria-style cuisine. They have a large selection of wines at fair prices. The simple dishes are traditional from Puglia and Gargano. We didn't try the meat, but they did try the cod in five different versions, all excellent. The traditional country appetizers were good. The EVO oil is locally produced, and you can taste it. A very welcoming place in the historic part of town; you can't access it by car, only on foot. A very good experience, definitely worth trying again. I personally found the chickpea and turnip hummus dish very good. Very well balanced.
22/02/2026: If you're looking for the perfect combination of rustic atmosphere and gastronomic excellence, Opuswine is a must-visit. As soon as you step inside, you're greeted by the warmth of the exposed stone walls and the kindness of the owner. The dishes are delicious, crafted with excellent quality ingredients and respect for tradition, an explosion of authentic flavors. For lovers of fine wine, the selection is very interesting.
A place where time seems to stand still, the wine flows generously, and the food warms the heart. Attentive service, smiling and never intrusive.

Everything was excellent: from the booking management to the welcome and friendliness of the owners (a wonderful family), all extremely kind and helpful...parents and children who work there. They made our stay truly unique. Excellent food, super breakfast and cakes, top-notch rooms, impeccable cleanliness, every comfort, and attention to detail. The property also has ample parking and is close to the Padre Pio Shrine. Everything was convenient. We sincerely thank all the staff for their professionalism, care, and love. It was a pleasant discovery...I rediscovered the "warmth of a home and a special family." We will definitely be back.
We highly recommend it.

13/04/2026: The owners are very professional, very polite, and always available for any need. The owners' children are equally so. I was alone, arriving from Milan to San Giovanni Rotondo. My train was late, so I missed dinner time! But Mr. Giuseppe was kind enough to come and pick me up near the Sanctuary. Well, what can I say? They're the best. I'll definitely be back. Carmela

28/03/2026: A fantastic experience at Sale e Pepe! The food is truly delicious: every dish is meticulously crafted, from the presentation to the flavors, which are truly overwhelming.
The staff is extremely welcoming, always attentive and helpful. Special praise goes to the manager and the waiters, who make you feel immediately at ease and pampered throughout the dinner.
The desserts are unique and spectacular, the perfect finale to an already excellent meal. You can sense great passion and quality in every course.
Highly recommended, definitely one of the best restaurants for a wonderful experience!

04/04/2026: I rarely write a review while sitting at a table enjoying cantuccini with a house amaro. The owner greeted us with smiles and a warm welcome. We left it up to him, starting with a variety of appetizers, generous in size... so much so that, despite our hunger, they practically filled us up. But we couldn't leave without trying the wonderful orecchiette with turnip tops, brought directly to the table from the pan. The atmosphere and food are distinctive, where we finally return to the origins of simple cuisine, seasoned with love! Thank you so much for the wonderful lunch!

02/03/2026: We stayed at the other property, Easy Green Hotel, but we also ate at the Cavallino Rosso on two occasions. The atmosphere is very refined and clean, and the staff is helpful and extremely kind. The pinsa, in particular, is truly delicious. The semifreddo with "ferreo rochè" is exquisite. The added value is undoubtedly the helpfulness, courtesy, and kindness shown by Luciano (the owner) and the staff, with Francesco as a great conductor. Thank you for taking us around the center, the Padre Pio Sanctuary, and for your kindness.
