29/12/2025: We had a wonderful time at this Osteria. The service is excellent, with various thoughtful touches that are always appreciated: complimentary bruschetta, a smile, and attentive service. The food is generally good, although it's a shame the grilled vegetables were frozen. Prices are quite low, even very low when you look at the wine list. There's a large parking lot next to the restaurant.

28/01/2026: It was a surprise to find this pizzeria in San Giovanni Rotondo. It preserves both the traditional and the modern. Chef Orazio is an excellent host. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was very friendly and comfortable. The menu is dedicated to pizza and includes some appetizers. We tried the potato croquette (which was delicious). For the main course, my husband ordered the traditional Margherita, and I tried something new… Giallo Parma. I was very surprised by the pizza I ordered… It was something new that I haven't tried anywhere else, but the combination was PERFECT. The sauce was completely different; visually, it's not a traditional pizza, but everything goes very well with the cheese and the ham (Parma ham). The Margherita pizza was very good; the flavor, the sauce, and the fresh mozzarella cheese were all perfectly combined. As Chef Orazio says, what is made with love and dedication turns out well. I want to congratulate him through this medium. Molto bene! 🙌🏻

Excellent service from two very kind and sweet guys. The food was exceptional, the quality was perfect, and the price was perfect. I'll be back again.

The experience was truly positive; we enjoyed excellent first and second courses. The staff was courteous, helpful, and friendly, and the prices were reasonable. We definitely recommend it again.

17/10/2025: Serves lunch, but not dinner. Google needs to correct its hours info. Lovely place, not much English but they appreciate any effort to communicate in Italian. Delicious food, and we were able to find vegetarian options which is not available everywhere.

16/01/2026: Beautiful hotel, average price, good cleanliness. It's located a 10-minute walk from the Sanctuary of San Pio. The breakfast buffet offers a mix of sweet and savory options, and the food is excellent. When I stay in San Giovanni, this is my favorite hotel! 😊 I also take advantage of the full tourist menu, which includes dessert, water, and wine, at a lower price than any other local restaurant. Finally, the kindness and friendliness are evident, from the owners to the entire staff, especially the dining room staff!

06/10/2025: It's fine for one night. The rooms are comfortable and clean, but poorly soundproofed. The elevator is very noisy. The restaurant offers a limited, touristy menu. However, the reception and restaurant staff are extremely courteous and helpful.

The atmosphere is ideal for sharing a moment of conviviality and serenity among pilgrims. Special thanks to the owner, Antonio, for his availability, his daughter, and the staff. Highly recommended for those visiting San Giovanni Rotondo who want to enjoy excellent local cuisine in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. But staying in the "La Solaria" apartment, just steps from the Padre Pio Shrine, with every comfort, complete with everything you need and a warm welcome, and right in the heart of the wonders of San Giovanni Rotondo, felt like we were living for three days, in the warmth of our own home. The kindness, professionalism, humility, and so much more of Mr. Matteo, his children, his father, his brother, his sister, and all the staff—I'd say we felt like family.
