24/08/2024: Cibo di ottima qualità e ben cucinato, il plus è dato dalla cordialità e cortesia del proprietario che quasi vizia il cliente fornendo consigli e dettagli importanti sui piatti da scegliere, sempre azzeccati. Consigliato vivamente per chi cerca una cucina che richiama il territorio, magari con qualche rivisitazione gradevole al palato.

16/01/2025: Nel centro storico di San Giovanni, è probabilmente il migliore ristorante del paese. Location rustica e simpatica. Materie prime locali e genuine. Da provare il baccalà e la carne nelle sue diverse varianti. La carta dei vini e’ molto fornita, con prezzi nella media.

16/01/2025: Eccezionale!!!! Ci sono ritornato volentieri e non ha tradito la mia fiducia. Come sempre tutto ottimo. Antipasti variegati, aperitivi innovativi e una cantina di vini da fare invidia alle migliori enoteche. Un ristorante nel centro storico di San Giovanni Rotondo, raggiungibile a piedi tra le vie del centro storico. Ambiente accogliente e ben arredato, una bella atmosfera che ti permette di sfuggire dal caos cittadino e pranzare in tranquillità scambiando due piacevole chiacchiere. I proprietari Pietro e Matteo sono simpatici e pronti a soddisfare le esigenze del cliente. La qualità dei piatti è *superiore*, si assaporano i profumi e gusti degli ingredienti che denotano la scelta *attenta* di materie prime di eccellenza. Tutto esageratamente buono. Complimenti 👍👍👍

13/11/2024: Premetto che sono Celiaco, abbiamo chiamato e chiesto se cucinavano senza glutine, ci hanno risposto positivamente. Un posto bello e accogliente, abbiamo ordinato e devo dire che io, celiaco, non ho mai mangiato così, mi hanno fatto dimenticare di essere celiaco!!!!! Stupendo!! Bravissimo lo chef e tutto lo staff! 01/12/2024: 5 star rating... I relied on the previous reviews of the place, and I confirm the excellent cuisine, welcoming environment, but above all the warm and sociable welcome received. We come to San Giovanni Rotondo occasionally every year, and this place will be put in our favorites every time we return. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT... I recommend, in addition to the orecchiette with turnip greens, which I really liked, I was delighted by the almond capriccio dessert... exquisite.

01/12/2024: We discovered this restaurant by chance and went back again the next day. Cozy and well heated environment, suggestive room. Excellent turnip ears and then an amazing hot and creamy dessert. Absolutely recommended!!!! Thank you all!

25/12/2024: Two souls one body. That mild and polite way of being welcomed does not go unnoticed. The lamps on the tables, numbered on the perforated metal; the menu finely well done; the paintings on the wall that recall the art of making pizza... the attention to detail is obsessive in these parts! After a few minutes from the order, the requested pizzas arrive: the eye appreciates. It's not the only sense to enjoy it. Immediately after the smell it will make me exclaim: look what we got! The edge is soft to the touch, the rest can be cut without resistance... at the first slice the intimate expectations are extremely confirmed: the divine manifested itself (also) through the loving work of the wise man. As the author of the miracle himself - who landed in that place after years of wandering around the world - will confide to me in the obligatory greeting - nothing was improvised in that context ... and I had experienced it entirely that evening. There someone, silently, takes care of us, prepares sublime dishes for us every day... thank you Mr Orazio for your passionate dedication, to your delicate companion and to the entire team. 20/12/2024: A fortune discovered during a trip to San Giovanni Rotondo! Rustic and delightfully welcoming environment even on a cold rainy day... The owner is very friendly and the dishes are a tasty and abundant journey into local traditions. Extremely helpful both for our late arrival (they welcomed us for lunch even though we arrived well after 2.30pm) and for the choice of different dishes even though there were only 2 of us at our table. The price is really reasonable given the exquisite treatment we received... And we were also offered an excellent artisan Cherry! Highly recommended!!

18/11/2024: The premise is that as soon as we entered, we were greeted with a huge smile. Shortly after, some delicious appetizers arrived and so on up to the famous cherry to absolutely drink. I can't wait to go back. Thanks again to the owners Maria and Michele.

05/01/2025: Capitata a pranzo con la mia famiglia per far visita al Santuario del S.Padre Pio, posto accogliente, pulito e personale disponibile a trovarci posto per 9 persone non avendo prenotato. Cibo tipico consigliato dallo staff eccellente, tutto buonissimo. Registrata perché la prossima volta che capiteremo da quelle parti ci torneremo sicuramente 😊

26/12/2024: Clasificado 5 / 5 . Gran comida casera cocinada tipo. Pizzas y las carnes eran excelentes. me encantó las ensaladas también. Gran servicio también. Comimos aquí 2 de 3 noches nos alojamos en San Giovanni Rotondo.

18/12/2024: Stayed in another B n B but dropped in to try out the Trattoria Antico, on site diner of the attached b and b. Ambiance matched expectations-eclectic knick knacks, wooden tables and chairs and warm colors for linen completed a snapshot of a trattorria-which is along the way to Padre Pio Shrine. Staff friendly with at least 1 multilingual.our target was to try out local cuisine, settling on appetizer of toasted rustic pan with local dip of Purea Fave e Cicorea(baked pureed fava beans, chicory greens, evoo), Pasta Fresca al Tegamino(homemade pasta with tomatoes, mozarella and other cheeses baked in terracotta pot) and Grilled garganic Sausages with fennel seed. The dip was hearty, pasta was rich with stringy mozzarella complemented by well seasoned tomato base. Pork sausage was on the lean side and made interesting by anise like flavor. TIP-Arrive early to nab a table.

18/09/2024: A small barbecue place in the center of San Giovanni Rotondo. Excellent service and hospitality from the staff who immediately appear hospitable. The raw materials of the dishes offered are good and have an excellent price ratio. Given the size of the place, I recommend booking, especially if you go after 9pm.

06/01/2025: The pizza and paposcia are excellent, it's a shame that the restaurant will close from 7 January 2025 to move to Corso Regina Margherita.
