13/12/2023: I was in Foggia this morning for work and had lunch with some colleagues at Mattia's. My aunt who lives in Foggia reported the place to me and she wasn't wrong! We had a great time: welcoming, comfortable and clean environment, precise and friendly service, genuine and tasty dishes. The owner at the tables and his wife in the kitchen are a perfect combination of professionalism. We felt at home! Oh I forgot, excellent quality-price ratio! Thank you, we will definitely see you next time we are in Foggia. Michele

05/04/2024: I was there this evening for dinner, for the first time, with some friends. Pleasant place with well-spaced tables. Courteous and attentive staff. The strong point is the quality of the meat used. Very good sandwiches. In the appetizers, the platter is the only thing that didn't seem at the same level as the other dinner courses. There was a small hiccup in one of the sandwiches, the egg inside was undercooked. Current prices. Definitely worth returning.

20/03/2024: Discreet location, there were 4 of us unfortunately 2/4 dishes arrived wrong, 1 we communicated it, in the second they sent ingredients and having understood the situation we didn't tell them anything. Beer prices higher than normal. Decent place, definitely not to go back, no big deal.

18/03/2024: Very basic pizzeria near the Umberto Giordano theatre, central! Group of 14 people. We had a buffet starter, mainly vegetables. The onions and courgettes are excellent. Followed by a series of pizzas of various types (the choice is wide) and bruschetta for our table. We also tasted the grilled meat and the lamb, which were good. Full place. Good pizza! Fast service. We ate well. Advise

08/12/2023: Fino al 2018 che vivevo a Foggia era tra i migliori pub della città, ci sono tornato qualche giorno fa per una “rimpatriata” e l’ho trovato nettamente calato sotto tutti gli aspetti: il servizio era estremamente lento, abbiamo atteso quasi due ore per dei panini con un locale che non era neanche pieno. Si era spenta la stufa riscaldante affianco al nostro tavolo, abbiamo chiesto per tre volte ai camerieri di rieaccenderla ma non siamo stati accontentati, in pratica abbiamo cenato con i giubini addosso. Il cibo non era male, ma assolutamente non paragonabile al livello di qualche anno fa. Grande dispiacere.

04/12/2023: siamo stati la settimana scorsa, il cibo di notevole bontà, il servizio è mio modo simpatico con spiegazioni sui piatti e sulle portate, la carne è squisita, l'ambiente invece è abbastanza da migliorare, faceva freddo e siamo rimaste un pò alle correnti, ma è un posto molto consigliato !!! Bravi !

09/09/2023: We stopped in Foggia to celebrate our wedding which took place a few days earlier in Sicily with an aperitif with some friends from Puglia. We were welcomed by Daniela who arranged everything down to the smallest detail. Sober and classy setup, excellent food (delicious parmigiana and focaccia), great choice of wines and very kind and knowledgeable staff. We will certainly be happy to return.
