09/06/2026: Our lunch was wonderful. We ordered the artichoke, lemon risotto, and the white fish with oysters. Everything was delicious. Fausto's attention and care delighted us. I highly recommend it!

02/11/2025: This is a review for both Noir restaurant and Nautilus fish shop, but I have had to change the wording as Google won’t allow the exact same review for both. We started at Nautilus and chose our seafood - salmon, octopus and porgy. We then asked for all to be grilled and served to us in Noir, which was a bit tricky to communicate initially. The Nautilus people could not have been more friendly and helpful. They helped us select fish and suggested alternates. Which given we didn’t speak Italian, and their English was ok, worked surprisingly well. We then went to Noir. Not much atmosphere, and even though there were only 4 other tables, our meal took a very long time to prepare. Half the main serves came out in around 15 minutes with the side courses, then the rest around 30 minutes after that. The waitstaff seemed pretty disinterested or busy in other things, and we had to ask for things a few times. Overall, the seafood was super fresh and tasty, but the clunky restaurant service meant it didn’t work well for a larger group of 6. The restaurant ambience is also pretty basic. These things considered, the meal was definitely very expensive for what it was. We saw some other customers with lobster pasta - and had we known better and /or chosen better that’s definitely what we would have tried. Recommend booking as the fish shop seems to close around 8, so the restaurant also finishes up quite early.

10/06/2026: We grabbed a pizza here as other restaurants in Ostuni increased their prices dramatically for tourists. Unfortunately the cheap prices were the best side of this pizzeria. The pizza dough was too hard and crunchy, far from the classic Italian pizza. It might seem okay for tourists but definitely wouldn't recommend the food for locals. The waiting staff was alright, though not very smiley or welcoming except for the girl that works there who was very nice. The atmosphere was pretty bad as the place is completely quiet, definitely could use some background music outside. Overall I would only recommend this if you need to fill your stomach in a pinch and want something cheap, as the prices are the only saving grace here.

07/05/2026: The appetizers were generous. We had pizza and pasta, which were very fresh and delicious. Anthonio speaks a little French, which made it easier to get menu recommendations. The friendliness, service, and welcome were all excellent. We had a wonderful time!

03/05/2026: I visited Alta Marea Lab in Villanova (Ostuni) and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. I ordered an Angus tagliata, expecting the classic preparation: a whole cut of Angus beef cooked properly and sliced into even pieces. Instead, it was served as small, irregular strips, more like “straccetti,” with no proper presentation and not representative of what a tagliata should be. Having traveled extensively, this is the first time I’ve seen it served this way. Overall, disappointing. The ingredients may have potential, but they are not handled or presented with the care you would expect.

05/07/2026: We were nearly put off by some negative reviews but so glad we came for lunch This is a locals place- lovely relaxed Sunday lunch by the sea with waves breaking over the rocks just next to our window table Service was superb in a relaxed Italian way Food really tasty - we had mixture of starters then mussels (melt in the mouth) and mixture of seafood pasta Two beautiful bottles of wine 5 beers and water all for €186 for six of us Really recommend Plus next to a nice little beach - what’s not to love!!!

14/06/2026: The restaurant/pizzeria has enormous potential, being located right on the sea. Based on this specific experience, the service isn't commensurate with the location: we ordered soft drinks and water, but the latter arrived on the third request, after 20 minutes; an appetizer course arrived 35 minutes later after much insistence; a long wait for a swordfish steak, which finally arrived after the appetizers and pizzas, not with the main courses; never a waiter or a manager circulating among the tables to ensure everyone is okay. The pizza is decent if you like the thin crust variety. Overall, the appetizers aren't bad, but the quantity wasn't to my liking. It's a shame, because, I repeat, the ambiance and, above all, the location are absolutely superb.

04/06/2026: The campsite that stole our hearts. What a lovely, cozy, child-friendly, well-equipped family campsite. I have rarely encountered such pleasant staff. Everyone greets you and is helpful. Front desk employee Danielle speaks fluent Dutch and her colleagues speaks English. Cozy bar with excellent coffee, sandwiches, and ice cream. Restaurant with a decent selection at low prices. Large, clean swimming pool and children's pool €3 per day; swimming caps are available for €2. Camping shop, washing machine, Free Wifi, possibility to freeze cool packs. Enough sanitary facilities with hot showers that are also cleaned twice a day. Free power hookups everywhere. Our cable was too short. I was allowed to borrow a cable from the campsite without extra charge. The beach along the camping is clean and there is continuous supervision by a lifeguard. There is also a beach bar with sunchairs. All the highlights in the Puglia region are reachable within about half an hour. We were allowed to choose a place in advance. We were a bit hesitant after reading other reviews. It was noticeable that this commentary concerned guests who were here outside the season. We didn't recognize any of this, but we were here in May/June. Because we liked it so much, we stayed longer. Absolutely recommended, Hans & Klara Paternotte Nederland

30/04/2026: A pleasant campsite, a little dated and a bit too compact. A little more space between campers, caravans, etc. would be nice. Parking outside is a bit inconvenient, and the walking distance is unnecessarily long. The self-service restaurant on site is good.

07/03/2026: Farina 32 Ostuni tennis club...we went tonight, and if I'd read the reviews first, I wouldn't have gone. The only redeeming feature is the pizzas: good, tasty...then the endless wait, and the waiters were incompetent. The guy taking the orders was probably placed there randomly. There were five of us, and we ordered two Neapolitan fried cuoppi, and some montanare, but the guy said, "No, we don't do those," without any further explanation. So I said, "Well, why don't you take them off the menu?" I asked for chicken nuggets for the little girl, and politely asked without chili sauce, but maybe if he could add some fries, and he said, "OK." We then ordered five pizzas. After a good 45 minutes and several reminders, the fried foods arrived...the only edible thing was the arancini, the rest was all frozen, not even warm, rubbery, and there was nothing Neapolitan about it. Maybe you've never been to Naples to eat. Naggets Without chips... my daughter starts eating them and at a certain point spits out saying "what is this stuff?" There was chili inside... so I always call the order boy and point out that I had asked for naggets without chili for the daughter and he, without a minimum of humility and courtesy, says to me "but these are not things we prepare, I wrote without chili but I didn't know it was in there... can't you find out? What if someone was intolerant now? You would have killed them but then in the kitchen how do you not notice?... and he kept saying that he didn't know what was on the menu, without saying "excuse me, I'll take it away" I ask the kitchen for something else etc... ridiculous. Then the pizzas...an eternity to get them, from 8pm when we arrived, we got them at 9:40pm.....we had to ask several times since there was also a 3-year-old girl at the table who needed to eat....and considering that when we arrived there were only three other tables.....afterwards it filled up and I can't imagine how long the others waited to eat. In any case, there are definitely better places in Ostuni, where courtesy and customer service are honored but above all, attentive to customer requests, with waiters with a minimum of common sense. If they don't change management, I don't think you'll last long. I definitely won't be going back.

03/11/2025: I came to eat at this restaurant with my parents in July on my 30th birthday. We had a great meal, the pizza was very good, the only flaw was that my dad found a mint leaf instead of basil on his pizza. After paying, he went to the pizza chef and jokingly told him to be careful, because he had the wrong plant. I was in the bathroom at the time. When I came out of the bathroom and passed the pizza chef, I heard him say some nasty things about my dad, who had by then left and was waiting for me outside. It was supposed to be a joyful evening, a celebration and a vacation, but instead it ended this way. Once I got back to the hotel, I called the restaurant again and explained the matter to the head waiter (or someone similar), who apologized and was kind. We appreciate the apology, but celebrating my 30th birthday in Puglia with my parents is only a one-time experience.

04/07/2026: Stopped by after the beach around 5:00 PM. The cocktails weren't very good and were expensive. The cashier wasn't friendly. The bartenders, however, were very nice.

27/06/2026: PERFECT BEACH VENUE, FOOD WAS DELICIOUS, GREAT QUALITY. SUNBEDS VERY COMFORTABLE. WE WILL RETURN AGAIN.
