24/07/2026: I've been coming to Santa Caterina since I was a child, and this restaurant is a blessing for the area because you generally don't find meat in restaurants. The quality of the meat, preserved in salt caves, and the way it's cooked puts Burger King or any other burger joint to shame. You won't find anything this good, even in Belgium. Go without hesitation; the quality and service are top-notch if you're looking for something other than pasta, pizza, or fish dishes. 👌

14/05/2026: We commissioned a cake through the restaurant where we celebrated the event. We took care of every detail, but the cake was the only disappointment. Initially, they thought the requested cake was too complicated, so we asked for a simple white cake with green accents to match the rest of the decor. In short, we ended up with a blue cake, like a baby shower cake, for a lady's 70th birthday. One star because that's the least we can give.

05/07/2026: We were nearly put off by some negative reviews but so glad we came for lunch This is a locals place- lovely relaxed Sunday lunch by the sea with waves breaking over the rocks just next to our window table Service was superb in a relaxed Italian way Food really tasty - we had mixture of starters then mussels (melt in the mouth) and mixture of seafood pasta Two beautiful bottles of wine 5 beers and water all for €186 for six of us Really recommend Plus next to a nice little beach - what’s not to love!!!

14/06/2026: The restaurant/pizzeria has enormous potential, being located right on the sea. Based on this specific experience, the service isn't commensurate with the location: we ordered soft drinks and water, but the latter arrived on the third request, after 20 minutes; an appetizer course arrived 35 minutes later after much insistence; a long wait for a swordfish steak, which finally arrived after the appetizers and pizzas, not with the main courses; never a waiter or a manager circulating among the tables to ensure everyone is okay. The pizza is decent if you like the thin crust variety. Overall, the appetizers aren't bad, but the quantity wasn't to my liking. It's a shame, because, I repeat, the ambiance and, above all, the location are absolutely superb.

27/06/2026: I went out for a drink one night and ordered a focaccia with tomatoes! That focaccia cost me €40 in medicine! I was poisoned for 3 days! And I'm sure it was the focaccia because I ate only that all day! If you have any leftover food, don't freeze it and resell it. Kindly throw it away because I own a shop and I can't afford to lie on my backside, but I still have to work! Shame on you.

14/08/2026: Sadly not a good experience here. As I wanted to order a calamari and shrimp dish, they said they were sold out of calamari, I said no worries I will just order the shrimp, after 45-50 mins my 4 pieces of shrimp arrived, smelled horrible and once I peeled it open, I saw that it was not properly cleaned and the intestines of the shrimp was everywhere. I could not eat it. Once I let the staff know, the owner went to another table, started talking about us and pointing to us and obviously bad mouthing us. He said that it was too late to return the food which after 45 mins of waiting, it took me 5-6 mins to realize I don’t like my food. I ended up paying but not eating. Horrrrrible service from the owner or manager whoever it was. Our waiter was a kind lady and my complaint is not towards her

28/06/2026: We stayed in the B&B, so I can't comment on the food. The rooms were very nice and comfortable; the owners were very kind and brought us delicious croissants and tarts every morning. It was truly a delightful place. One small flaw in our room was the shower head, which didn't work. I'd just add that we booked several rooms because we had a lot of friends, especially one couple who booked a double room separate from the rest of the rooms. They weren't particularly happy with that room; there were several issues, so if you're having trouble, I recommend just making sure your rooms are all close to each other.

02/08/2026: Nice atmosphere Terrible and unprofessional staff Having the humility to tell things as they are wouldn't be bad... (Or rather, to say, okay... I accidentally made the wrong order and moved three tables ahead... that's fine... but saying I know my job... absolutely not!) I've worked in the same industry for 40 years... and I'm telling you, no... You don't know your job at all, and you also have the arrogance to lack humility! I'm sorry, I've never given a worse review. We'll never go back!

31/07/2026: The pizza is objectively good, but other than that, everything else is quite questionable. The staff is friendly but clearly under-trained. The fried food isn't bad, but you can find better without leaving Ostuni. The bill is unjustifiably high, so much so that the small discount is standard practice. It's a shame; it wouldn't take much to significantly improve.

19/07/2026: We are literally just trying to run away from this slum after first night. The camp is dirty, there are no toilet seats, music is is loud at the pitches that we cannot hear each other and it is loud all night. I have all of it on camera. As a bonus they refuse to return money back, promising someone will come to return it. Interesting that when you pay, this they can do.

04/06/2026: The campsite that stole our hearts. What a lovely, cozy, child-friendly, well-equipped family campsite. I have rarely encountered such pleasant staff. Everyone greets you and is helpful. Front desk employee Danielle speaks fluent Dutch and her colleagues speaks English. Cozy bar with excellent coffee, sandwiches, and ice cream. Restaurant with a decent selection at low prices. Large, clean swimming pool and children's pool €3 per day; swimming caps are available for €2. Camping shop, washing machine, Free Wifi, possibility to freeze cool packs. Enough sanitary facilities with hot showers that are also cleaned twice a day. Free power hookups everywhere. Our cable was too short. I was allowed to borrow a cable from the campsite without extra charge. The beach along the camping is clean and there is continuous supervision by a lifeguard. There is also a beach bar with sunchairs. All the highlights in the Puglia region are reachable within about half an hour. We were allowed to choose a place in advance. We were a bit hesitant after reading other reviews. It was noticeable that this commentary concerned guests who were here outside the season. We didn't recognize any of this, but we were here in May/June. Because we liked it so much, we stayed longer. Absolutely recommended, Hans & Klara Paternotte Nederland

03/11/2025: I came to eat at this restaurant with my parents in July on my 30th birthday. We had a great meal, the pizza was very good, the only flaw was that my dad found a mint leaf instead of basil on his pizza. After paying, he went to the pizza chef and jokingly told him to be careful, because he had the wrong plant. I was in the bathroom at the time. When I came out of the bathroom and passed the pizza chef, I heard him say some nasty things about my dad, who had by then left and was waiting for me outside. It was supposed to be a joyful evening, a celebration and a vacation, but instead it ended this way. Once I got back to the hotel, I called the restaurant again and explained the matter to the head waiter (or someone similar), who apologized and was kind. We appreciate the apology, but celebrating my 30th birthday in Puglia with my parents is only a one-time experience.
