04/01/2026: The place looks inviting, but as soon as we entered, we realized how dismal it was. The service was terrible. The staff was arrogant and rude. Three of us came here on a Sunday during the Christmas holidays. As soon as we sat down and ordered, we were told that due to the restaurant's closure for the next day, ingredients were scarce and they couldn't prepare the same entree for two of us. The pellet stove made it difficult to have a conversation without being disturbed.

03/11/2025: I came to eat at this restaurant with my parents in July on my 30th birthday. We had a great meal, the pizza was very good, the only flaw was that my dad found a mint leaf instead of basil on his pizza. After paying, he went to the pizza chef and jokingly told him to be careful, because he had the wrong plant. I was in the bathroom at the time. When I came out of the bathroom and passed the pizza chef, I heard him say some nasty things about my dad, who had by then left and was waiting for me outside. It was supposed to be a joyful evening, a celebration and a vacation, but instead it ended this way. Once I got back to the hotel, I called the restaurant again and explained the matter to the head waiter (or someone similar), who apologized and was kind. We appreciate the apology, but celebrating my 30th birthday in Puglia with my parents is only a one-time experience.

26/02/2026: Sublime experience, the owner was very kind and the dinner was truly delicious. I had pizza and my partner a plate of mixed meat skewers, then a bottle of wine and coffee to finish. Recommended.

08/12/2025: I had lunch with friends on December 7, 2025. We had a wonderful time in a family-friendly atmosphere with friendly and attentive service. The appetizers were excellent, and the first course (mushroom tagliolini for everyone) was delicious. The quality/price ratio was excellent. Highly recommended.
29/10/2025: Small portions, high prices, and overall a very uninspired experience. Paying €6 in Brindisi for a microwaved dessert with ready-made sauce from a tube is incomprehensible. And to top it all off, they said they didn't accept card payments.

We ordered two appetizer platters and were pleasantly surprised by the quantity of excellent products we received.
We loved it.
They deserved more than their 3.8 rating.
17/09/2025: We stopped for lunch to eat flea market. The flea market is good, very generously stocked. The coppa is delicious. The prices are slightly high, but justified by the touristy location.

04/01/2026: Frozen octopus, as the waiter pointed out, had a slightly burnt taste. The salad was okay but lacked seasoning. The ravioli were very good; it's a shame the tiramisu filling was still frozen. The Milanese veal cutlet was very good, although I suspect it was frozen, and the homemade fries, I think, were excellent. Since we couldn't find a shuttle to get back, the owner kindly and freely gave us a ride back to the train station. The staff was pleasant.
03/01/2026: Located in the square, Hosteria Regina is a very charming restaurant, offering multiple locations. It offers exquisite dishes, quality products, and a very welcoming and friendly staff...highly recommended.

13/02/2026: The service is terrible, the cashier gets angry and demands speed, the person serving you snaps their fingers and takes your receipts.
02/02/2026: This bar is located inside the station. It's quite spacious, the place wouldn't be bad but it's not very clean. The tables and the floor are quite dirty. I drank a Spritz that was only acceptable, the staff was decent.

26/10/2025: Disgusting cappuccino! Please choose another place for coffee; there are plenty of them in Ostuni. 5.50 euros for a cappuccino and cornetto. I don't understand why. For a cappuccino that tastes like it's made of water and cream.
17/10/2025: Came in just for some drinks and ended up having a great time. Cozy little spot with a nice atmosphere — perfect place to escape the rain. We met a few other travelers and had a good chat over drinks. They’ve got draft beer on tap, which was a must for me. The wine was decent, just oddly warm? The outdoor umbrellas leaking onto the tables and chairs and no toillet paper or toilet seat. Otherwise good time people watching and enjoying a cold one. There was a table service fee, but only 1 Euro for 2 people.

23/11/2025: Don't come. They made me pay in cash without saying anything first, and there shouldn't even be a price for the service, because they didn't do anything.
24/09/2025: Worst food we’ve eaten in Italy. The staff couldn’t speak a single word of English so it was difficult to even order. My lunch took an hour to make when there were only 4 customers there. The waiter spilled my hot pasta on my feet & didn’t even say sorry. The food we we served looked nothing like the menu. Unfortunately they changed the name of the restaurant to “Mu l ave” so I couldn’t see the reviews until we got the receipt & I saw it was called Freaks Bar. Do not eat here.

DISASTER QUALITY AND SERVICE
23/10/2025: TERRIBLE.
After being fleeced, if the customer dares to complain about the exorbitant price, they're also loudly scolded, insulted, and even threatened if they don't leave the place immediately.
The coffee and the expressions we got were truly disgusting, and you'll find better ones at the 24-hour vending machines and in offices.
The owner is a real rude man, hurling insults at you and threatening to beat you up if you don't leave the place immediately, all because we told him the prices are exorbitant for the quality of the product served. A terrible image for Ostuni and the people of Ostuni (who certainly avoid him).
Avoid him like the plague.
He should just go hoeing, never mind running a bar.
