18/10/2025: Got one slice of the hot salami pizza and loved it. The tomato sauce, cheese, and dough all tasted real and fresh. I could’ve easily eaten a whole pizza. At €3 a slice, I was more than happy with that.

09/07/2025: siamo ritornati al Frantoio certi di trascorrere giorni meravigliosi, e così è stato! Un posto magico, ricco di storia e di dettagli in ogni angolo. Il personale sempre cortese e professionale attento alle esigenze degli ospiti e pronti ad accogliere le loro richieste. Le camere ben curate e spaziose e curate in ogni particolare. Posizione comodissima vicina a qualsiasi bella località si voglia visitare e poi, al ritorno, una comoda piscina aspetta gli ospiti che vogliono rinfrescarsi all'ombra dei meravigliosi ulivi o con un gustoso cocktail. Piante, giardino ovunque, pavoni, ulivi secolari. Insomma, un posto magico che è diventato posto del cuore

09/07/2025: Yet another highly overrated restaurant on TripAdvisor! We were four for dinner and did the wine pairing along with the tasting menu. The food overall is mediocre at best. Some dishes like the chicory (which i normally love) were tasteless and blah. No dish rose to the level of delicious. The wines were fine. You get three glasses across eight courses. A white, a rose, and a red. All serviceable but not outstanding. The service on the other hand is weird. Very disorganized. Sometimes rude. We reserved a table some weeks in advance and confirmed via email the day before. We were told dinner service starts at 8:30. We arrived at 8:30 to find the tables mostly all full with diners well into their meals. There was no host to greet us and we stood awkwardly in the courtyard waiting to be helped. When we could finally get someone’s attention, a waiter came over and searched for our name but couldn’t find it. When we paid the bill later that night we were informed the reservation was under BOTH my last name AND my wife’s (different) last name - but when trying to get seated, I provided my name and we were told that they could not find our reservation. After we finally asked whether the reservation was under my wife’s name, the waiter saw that this name was on the list, and we got a surly, “so it’s your mistake!” We also stated on several occasions that one of our family has an allergy and this was confirmed twice via email. Yet upon sitting, the server was taken by surprise by this request and needed to go talk with the kitchen. The rest of the meal was a rushed series of mediocre dishes and wine. In food and service, this restaurant does not rise to the level of excellent. The food is only mediocre and the service is disorganized and often rude.

17/07/2025: Eerst een chronologische opsomming voor een beter begrip: om 12:45u gingen we zitten op het terras (natuurlijk na een goedkeurend knikje van de dienstdoende ober) nog voordat we konden bestellen kreeg ik een appje binnen (12:47u) We dachten, we houden het simpel, we doen een hamburger. Al snel kwamen de drankjes. Achtereenvolgens werden 3 tafeltjes gevuld met gasten, tot onze verbazing kregen die allemaal al vrij gauw te eten, ze rekenden af en vertrokken. We grapten naar elkaar: ze moeten die koe eerst nog vangen. Toen ik (om 13:35) nog eens navroeg aan een van de 3 ( met veel aandacht voor hun mobieltjes ) obers, kreeg ik te horen dat het erg druk was met heel veel bestellingen en dat het nog 5 hooguit 10 minuten zou duren. We maakten nog maar eens een grap naar elkaar: 10 minuten, die krijgen we zwart! ( Als ik een hamburger 10 minuten bak is die best krokant. En jahoor een uur later de hamburger: ai wat een teleurstelling: het broodje zo klef als een baby hap, een laag mayonaise afgetopt met een laag ketchup en daarop een hamburger die net bleek was als mijn ongebruinde buik. Enfin snel naar binnen gewerkt en na 30 seconden spijt dat ik dat gedaan had. Toen de rekening maar gevraagd: €9 voor zo’n hamburger (maar dat stond ook op de kaart) maar €4 per persoon voor service. Toen ben ik toch maar naar de ober gestapt dat ik dit belachelijk vond, die probeerde mijn aan mijn verstand te brengen dat we echt maar een half uur gewacht hadden. Bijna kreeg ik een waas voor ogen die niet misstaan had in een rauwe hamburger. Ik zocht de patron en vertelde hem duidelijk hoorbaar wat ik ervan vond. Hij ging direct overstag door de servicekosten niet in rekening te brengen.

30/06/2025: Se detuvo al azar para tomar una copa. ¿Quién pregunta el precio antes de pedir? Confiamos en la gente. Sí, así que es un lugar turístico y esperas pagar más. ¿PERO 12 euros por un Spritz y 10 euros por una cerveza? El doble del precio de todos los otros cafés / restaurantes que visitamos durante la semana.

27/06/2025: Fuera del calor en una vieja bodega. Gran personal. Buena comida local a diferencia de las trampas turísticas en la plaza principal. Muy recomendable.

14/06/2025: Nuestra primera noche en Ostuni después de conducir 6 horas para llegar allí. Elegimos este lugar porque estaba cerca de nuestro apartamento. El aperitivo de queso estaba delicioso. El plato principal con berenjena no era bueno en absoluto.

19/06/2025: Abbiamo trascorso una splendida serata. Abbiamo iniziato con delle polpette fritte che erano squisite. La carne era squisita, abbiamo assaggiato bombette, salsiccia normale e piccante, straccetti, tagliate. Tutto ottimo. Contorni ottimi, le patate alla brace squisite. Anche il dessert è stato eccezionale, spumoni eccezionali. Complimenti a tutto lo Staff. A presto!

26/03/2025: Hrana odlična. Veliki izbor mesa. Uživali smo u ovom gastronomskom iskustvu. Slavili smo rođendan. Počastili su nas pićem. Osjećali smo se kao kod kuće. 😃😃

27/07/2025: Ce restaurant est une arnaque, 0 professionnalisme, quasiment pas de cuisine, que du réchauffé et de l'ouverture de barquettes industrielles. 40€ pour 3 tranches de jambon industriel, 2 petits morceaux de fromage du sachet, 3 frisella et 2 verres de vin rouge...

09/07/2025: Il proprietario (o amico non si è capito) faceva il simpatico ma risultava solo fastidioso. Al momento di pagare (una coca cola e una cedrata) ci chiede 30€. Dopo avergli riso in faccia abbassa a 15€. Alla richiesta di visualizzare il menù dice che non esiste. Tutto senza scontrino. Non consigliato

Under the direction of Mrs. Patrizia everything moved perfectly, everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail, everything was very fresh. Thanks again for a very successful party. 05/10/2024: 18th birthday party, fantastic location under the walls of the historic center of Ostuni. Professionalism, seriousness and competence characterize the entire staff. Rich menu, all fresh and of high quality, excellent management of the courses also considering the number of guests (approximately 80 people). Perfect and highly recommended!

06/08/2025: PENOSO!! Tralasciando il fatto che è un furto (4 euro una coppetta media di 3 gusti, MINUSCOLA). Panna e Nutella, vaniglia e cioccolato fondente, non si distingueva il gusto, tutto acqua. Personale ESTREMAMENTE scortese. Se volete provare una sensazione unica di ribrezzo, la consiglio calorosamente.

14/05/2025: Il personale ha la mentalità di un bambino di quattro anni io e un mio amico siamo andati a mangiare lì. Io mi sono preso un gelato al mango e pistacchio dopo mangiato ho defecato tutto il cenone di Natale. Il gelato era acidissimo lo sconsiglio vivamente. Poi il mio amico ha preso una crepe pistacchio White il personale dopo avergli chiesto il parere della crepe e il mio amico ha risposto che era giusto un poco cruda hanno iniziato a insultarlo con parole inimmaginabili sono davvero dei grandissimi maleducati. Poi un altro nemico è andato in bagno di una volta dopo aver consumato e comunque gli hanno sbraitato addosso l’igiene è pari a zero lì. PS per me potete anche chiudere

05/05/2025: Sinceramente la cucina è stata ottima. Però abbiamo pagato un conto salatissimo...4 euro di coperto a testa...in più i camerieri avevano fretta di sparecchiare...i piatti erano ruvidi...la pasta servita su un piatto piatto...

01/05/2025: Se amate il pesce e cercate un ristorante autentico dove respirare l’anima del mare pugliese, *Il Pescatore* a Villanova di Ostuni è una tappa obbligata! Abbiamo cenato in riva al porto, accolti da un’atmosfera rilassante e romantica, perfetta per godersi ogni portata con calma. Il pesce è semplicemente spettacolare: crudi freschissimi, antipasti ricchi e creativi, primi da sogno (gli spaghetti ai ricci e i paccheri ai gamberoni con granella di pistacchio sono imperdibili!). Ottimi anche i secondi, cucinati con attenzione e rispetto per la materia prima. Porzioni generose, qualità altissima e una carta dei vini ben curata. Il servizio è attento e cordiale: lo staff ci ha guidati nella scelta dei piatti con grande competenza e simpatia. Prezzi assolutamente adeguati alla qualità e all’esperienza complessiva. Un luogo che resta nel cuore. Torneremo sicuramente!

27/05/2024: Excelente desayuno vinimos aquí dos veces! El gran desayuno es lo que dice, pero qué mezcla de delicias. Me encantó la tostada de salmón y gran café con un servicio amable!
