You should go here for the view alone. Beautiful view of the olive trees and the Adriatic Sea in the distance. More of a bar than a restaurant. But the food was quite tasty and the salads very generous. Not expensive.

It couldn't have been better. The view at sunset was magnificent, the food was superb, and the staff was very friendly.

We ask to sit at a table with a view, and the waiter tells us it's perfect and that he'll set the table right away. We wait, and after a few moments, we're seated. We order a large Greek salad and swordfish carpaccio with vegetables, a drink, and water... We wait a bit for our dishes, but the waiters set the table and bring out dishes with fresh, abundant ingredients. We enjoy the cool evening, the sunset, and the view. Recommended for an unpretentious dinner with excellent ingredients. Good value for money. Recommended.

Beautiful view for having a drink at the end of the day

Beautiful place with a beautiful view. The spritz was good, but I was a little disappointed with the platter. The cured meats and cheeses were very commercial, but I didn't find any real authenticity.

There were two of us. The location was nothing to complain about, as my city is absolutely beautiful, so... you can enjoy the view and the fantastic atmosphere. The service and staff were excellent. I have some concerns about the food: we had an aperitivo with a spritz. The quantities were minimal, and especially the seasoning was scant. The friselline were placed on cherry tomatoes without oil, without salt... nothing; only the one with caramelized onions was anything special, while everything else left a bit to be desired. I would reconsider both the quantity and the seasoning.

Nice, colorful little bar with a beautiful view and a lovely breeze. We ordered a cheese and charcuterie board with bread and jams, drank an Aperol Spritz, water, and 2 slushes/granitas. The board was certainly tasty, only a bit disappointed that there were no figs and watermelon on it like in the photo; I mainly wanted the fruit. There were only a few pears on it. The quality of the board was otherwise very good; the granitas weren't slushes, but tastier, more like lemon sorbets. Nice spot, had a tasty bite to eat, less crowded than the center.

Avenida 40 Bistrot is the perfect place to stop by for a drink. The view is truly beautiful and creates a relaxed, cozy atmosphere. We had a wonderful time here and enjoyed the beautiful location. If you are in Ostuni and looking for a nice spot with a great view, this is definitely highly recommended!
