08/09/2025: A traditional restaurant in the center of Carovigno. A charming location, bathed in light in the historic center. Excellent grilled meat dinner. Mimmo and his family made us feel right at home. Tiramisu... unparalleled delicacy. Hospitality and courtesy are unparalleled. Excellent value. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely return to try some other local specialties.

In the tiny village of Serranova, with its architecture as horrifying as it is fascinating, Tonino is worth the trip, to rediscover, among the cool trees, the taste of time that a miraculous calm seems to have stopped. No cooking, just sandwiches that taste of a youth you hope will never end. And after an ice-cold "Drecher" drunk "on the cane," which you will definitely repeat before you leave, you will no longer have any doubts: life is beautiful as long as there is a place like this, in this wonderful land (of Puglia). Hats off to Tonino, who shapes vibrations as well as good things, with his life's work.

28/07/2025: An authentic place shaded by beautiful trees. Excellent food and more than fair prices: drinks €6, huge and delicious bruschetta with tomato, mozzarella, and prosciutto for €6. Well done!

30/06/2025: Chocolate Café is truly a fantastic place! The pastries and brioches are fabulous, always fresh and delicious. The ice cream is also exceptional, creamy and full of flavor. A special thanks goes to Christian, always kind, helpful and very careful about cleaning. Also all the staff is very good and welcoming. I can't wait for the new ice cream shop to open in the square in Carovigno... it will surely be another success!

01/08/2025: You're a bit surprised to find an Irish pub in Torre Santa Sabina, but visit it. The burgers were great and so was the wine.

28/07/2025: We've been back, both the pizza and the selection of beers are truly worth it, and you can't leave without trying Massimo's crepes. Also, ask about Andrea's wonderful Casetta!

22/08/2025: We chose Sapurito for dinner based on the positive reviews, and I can't understand how it could have a rating higher than 4, given that it was truly a disaster. We ordered a pizza, two seafood sandwiches, and a tuna steak. Except for the pizza, which I'd call "edible," everything else was a total disappointment. The seafood sandwiches, priced at €14, were flavorless, the bread was dry, and we found a hair in one of the sandwiches. The tuna steak was actually a low-quality tataki, tasted like the kind from a bag, the tuna was flavorless, served with a very salty teriyaki sauce. Furthermore, the menu listed crunchy vegetables, but the celery and carrots arrived with part of their peel dirty. I truly can't understand how a restaurant can serve dishes like this! It's easier to think that four people went out on a late August evening with the sole purpose of writing a negative review of your restaurant than to have the humility and intelligence to admit that bad nights can happen in any restaurant. It's easier to offend a customer by saying that I prefer canned tuna or that I live in a parallel universe rather than eating what you serve to understand that perhaps there is always room for improvement in life and that dishes like this may be fine for tourists, but not for a local who knows tastes and ingredients perfectly. That said, you're right... I was the one who expected to find sandwiches as good as the ones I usually eat at Pescaria, or at Mangiameduse, or those made by chef Lucio Mele... actually, yes... those are from another universe!

04/09/2025: A place surrounded by nature. You can choose your favorite cured meats from the platter... EXCELLENT, in fact, EXCEPTIONAL!!! You can also choose the meat you want grilled. During dinner, you're often approached by cats who keep you company throughout the meal... if you don't like cats, it's best to avoid dining here. For those who love nature and animals, this is the perfect place, but especially for those who really love meat.

30/08/2025: Excellent quality products... all homemade. The cured meats are superb, and the platters are not to be missed. The roast, exclusively pork and wild boar, is excellent, and the quality of the meats is unparalleled. The cheeses and jams are also good. The desserts are decent, but it would be nice to offer something more. Their homemade bitters are delicious.

14/09/2025: Terrible choice, tasteless fish starters covered in spices that had nothing to do with seafood, tough and rubbery fried food, roast fish with tasteless fish, each sperlunga 40 euros. First and last time. I strongly advise against it.

07/09/2025: After ordering a double cream coffee granita, I was served cold coffee with a dollop of whipped cream. I wanted my criticism to be constructive, but she simply told me it wasn't. It's a shame I didn't take a photo first. In my hometown, coffee granita is a completely different experience. Not recommended.

12/06/2025: Finding this restaurant on our penultimate night in Puglia was a perfect end to our holiday. Quite simply choose your meat and have it cooked on a charcoal grill. A great selection of sausages and kebabs and fantastic meat. I had ribeye as 2nd course that was cooked to perfection, great location and food.
