09/07/2026: A very nice restaurant in the old town square of Carovigno. Exceptional grilled meats, a very friendly welcome, and efficient service. I recommend the bistecca alla fiorentina! Highly recommended for lovers of excellent meat.

We also appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners, always kind and attentive. A place where you eat well and feel welcomed. We'll gladly return!

14/08/2026: A delightful dinner with two appetizers, two first courses, and one second course, accompanied by an excellent Fiano Castel Serranova di Vallone (a nearly zero-kilometer choice given the proximity to Torre Guaceto, highly recommended!). ​The Food: The quality of the fish and ingredients is truly unquestionable. The tuna tartare was exquisite, although the capers advertised on the menu must have been on vacation for a day: they never arrived! A small, forgivable oversight, but if an ingredient is on the poster, we'd love to see it on stage. ​With the main courses (linguine, rice, potatoes, and mussels, and the cuttlefish), the kitchen displayed a heart that was perhaps too generous: the sauces and reductions are so generous that the (splendid) ingredients struggle to stand out. It's all very tasty, but with this volume of creamy sauces, the palate demands a break at the end of the meal. My advice is to trust your fish: it's so good it doesn't need to be "overwhelmed" by all this affection! ​The Service: Friendly, but a touch too distracted: when pouring the wine, the waiter cheerfully toasted the tablecloth. It's an accident that happens to everyone, of course, but a quick wipe would have been much appreciated (especially since the table was teetotal!). ​In summary: The basics are all there for a great meal, and you'll enjoy eating. All it would take is a little "drying up" of the sauces on the plates and the table service to aim straight for excellence. Recommended!

24/07/2026: Food was ok, nothing special. Big portions. Their traditional antipasto, minimum 2 persons but it was way too much for 2, I wish the waiter would have said so! Pasta was good. Pizza should not be in the menu. It is frozen food or it tastes like it. Do not go for pizza. If you go for traditional food then ok but pizza should be left to pizzerias. Not their thing.

22/07/2026: A well-kept and welcoming location, delicious food with generous portions, and extremely friendly staff. The first time we ate fish: fried baby octopus, au gratin mussels, and tagliolini with lobster, all excellent. This evening we returned and tried a mix of meat and seafood appetizers, abundant and delicious. A special mention goes to the orecchiette with meatballs and braciole, which tastes like a typical Sunday dish at grandma's house. Highly recommended!

30/07/2026: The food is excellent in every way. I highly recommend the house mixed antipasto, which offers a variety of truly exquisite and well-prepared dishes. The pizza is also very good. The price is absolutely average for the quality of the offerings. A restaurant I recommend without hesitation!

30/06/2026: Best pizza around. The value for money couldn't be better (a Margherita pizza costs only 5 euros!!). Super service, and... although located on the main road, there's a lovely atmosphere in the back courtyard in summer, and beautiful high star-vaulted ceilings inside in winter. My recommendation: the antipasto misto (it's more than enough). Freshly cooked, the owner's mother Maria still does the cooking, and her father Angelo is usually there and incredibly helpful. And... just ask: he has the best organic olive oil for miles around. From disease-free trees that he has lovingly tended for years, watering them, picking them by hand (not with the mechanical shaker that damages the delicate roots), and pressing them in the best organic cold-press. Pure liquid gold. Highly recommended.

29/04/2026: The best pizza in San Lazzaro! Delicious, thin crust, well-topped with quality ingredients (excellent tomato), easy to digest, and they make them super fast. Another important thing is the price... they're fair and I think lower than others. If you order a few pizzas, they'll give you a free drink. Well done!

06/04/2026: Don't sit in the small room with tables 1, 2, and 3 because you'll be entering another galaxy and won't be served: we waited over 40 minutes while they served other tables that arrived after us. We called them several times without success.

01/04/2026: We had two pieces of apple pie, I must say the industrial-grade ones. I say having two pies made by a pastry shop, it takes a lot if you don't know how to make them?

We've never experienced such a diverse range of different, varied, and expertly prepared dishes before. Excellent value for money!
