26/01/2025: Siamo stati a cena in famiglia,la location carina ma poca scelta di carne . Una semplice grigliata mista ,con tagliere di salumi. Buono ma mancano comunque i contorni che servirebbero x accompagnare tutto il resto ,non fanno frittura come patatine o polpette o altro ,ne altri tipi di contorni. Si mangia solo affettato ,formaggio e classica carne grigliata con poca scelta. Menu troppo ridotto a mio parere ad un prezzo comunque nella media.

25/01/2025: A place located in the Sernova countryside, a little difficult to find as the road is not lit at all and there are no signs, but fortunately with Google Maps it was easier to find it. The business opens from Thursday to Sunday. As established here in the timetable, you can book by calling the telephone number. Very nice and welcoming atmosphere, with attention to the smallest details. At the entrance there is a large counter with a very clean and schematic display of meat, while around it there is the sale of all the products they produce, pepper cream, jams and many types of wine. As soon as we arrived we directly ordered the meat following the strict advice of the counterman to avoid waste. We ordered slices of wild boar meat which were cooked well and had a fairly tasty flavor but we didn't feel that typical wild flavor of wild boar, unfortunately the bowlettes were only one type and the sausage only two. Platter of really varied cured meats and cheeses and above all very good and tasty. I would have preferred a little more choice in the particularity of the bowlers and sausages, perhaps even finding the seasoned one. Bombette: overcooked, they were almost crunchy. However, in the description it is specified that only pork and wild boar meat is available. The peculiarity that I didn't like was the fact that we weren't given a menu so we could order aperitifs or side dishes, we only managed to order a salad but unfortunately they brought it to us seasoned and this is honestly something that I didn't like at all because each of us has both health and taste needs for which perhaps we don't like vinegar or we don't like salt. Apart from these two flaws, I can enthusiastically say that we had a pleasant evening but above all that the quality of the meat is really good. Price per person a little too high compared to the competition

08/01/2025: Food bar in an old village (Serranova hamlet Carovigno very close to San Vito dei Normanni a few km from the Torre Guaceto reserve) where you can breathe an air of 'old times'. Peace for the soul. The owner Tonino is always accommodating and Lorena is always kind and very quick with service. Despite being a Spartan place, it deserves five stars for 'regeneration of the mind'.

03/11/2024: Pub molto bello,ottimo servizio da parte del personale di sala e davvero molto veloci. Per quanto riguarda le pietanze è tutta roba di prima qualità, io ed il mio amico abbiamo preso due belleinsalata davvero molto ricche e molto buone accompagnate da una ciccio. Siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti e ci ritorneremo volentieri. Ve lo consigliamo.

08/02/2025: We have been a couple of times now to this restaurant for lunch . The food is exceptional .We had anti pasti recommenced by the owner , followed by the see bass, which was cooked to perfection. This place is a gem with a fabulous and talented chef. Great value for money too. If you are in the area it’s very much worth a visit.

08/01/2025: We were delighted with this discovery, we happened to be in these parts by chance on a winter afternoon... and we booked in this wonderful and welcoming tavern for super well-finished appetizers, excellent first course paccheri with grouper, pappardelle with top mushrooms! Super desserts Their homemade panettone is a soft and very pleasant delight! I recommend and hope to return!

01/12/2024: Ci siamo stati per un pranzo in famiglia, tutto buonissimo dagli antipasti al dolce. Davvero nessuna pecca! Consigliatissimo!

24/11/2024: La sensazione è che ogni qualvolta torniamo al boschetto, l'asticella è sempre più alta e il titolare, riesce sempre e ripeto sempre a saltare oltre l'ostacolo. Era proprio importante per noi, non sbagliare questo pranzo e Angelo, sa sempre come farmi fare bella figura. I nostri ospiti erano senza parole quando sul tavolo hanno visto: - Un infinità di antipasti. - Dei primi superlativi e abbondanti. - Una Fiorentina da 1.5 kg tenerissima. - Tonno alla griglia. - dessert. - Amari, caffè e ammazzacaffe'. Ci tengo a sottolineare la magnificenza di quanto sopra, e che I caffè e gli amari sono anche stati offerti. Rivolgo un applauso a chi, oltre ad Angelo, Filippo ecc...Non è mai visibile al pubblico e cioè a tutti i cuochi che tanto si stancano per il palato dei clienti. Prezzi assolutamente giusti... Complimenti, viva il boschetto!

16/11/2024: Stopped in for dinner on our way to Lecce as we’ve heard wonderful things about this town. The steak is one of the best we’ve had both in Italy and in the USA. Yes, we’ve been to Florence and this is just as delicious. The octopus appetizer was delicious as was our salad. Service was excellent. We’ll be back for sure.

04/02/2025: we've had an amazing time in this place - small and lovely restaurant, great service (we were greet and goodbye by the handshake made by waiter who served us), extraordinary food (the taste of the fish and seafood was exquisite, orecchiette con pomodoro was divine), delicious wine! definitely a place where you need to eat, when you have a chance!

04/01/2025: Exceptionally good cuisine. Also for Appulia. The starters are not only fine and tasty, but also plentiful. Main courses are also on point, the pannacotta is the best I've found so far. The service is quick, professional, calm and friendly. Incredibly good!

06/02/2025: Everything was excellent, the waiters were very kind and professional, the pizza was excellent. Even though I had a pizza with pumpkin and bacon which are usually "heavy" ingredients, I didn't "feel" the pizza at all, it was light.

27/10/2024: Siamo stati in questo ristorante a pranzo in una splendida domenica di fine Ottebre. Appena arrivati ci ha accolto un ragazzo molto affabile di nome Nando. Gentilmente ci ha chiesto se pranzare dentro o fuori ma data la bella giornata soleggiata ci siamo accomodati nel Vicoletto, dove si respirava l'aria di una splendida cittadina come Carovigno. Il menù è tipico casereccio con piatti anche Gourmet. Nando ci ha consigliato in maniera molto professionale con un tocco di folclore che non guasta mai e rende l'ambiente gioviale ma soprattutto familiare. Abbiamo ordinato orecchiette alla pugliese con sugo e polpette e tanta cacioricotta oltre a pappardelle ai funghi porcini ed arrosto misto, da bere acqua naturale. Che dire, una prelibatezza, come gustare la cucina della nonna, superlativo. Il conto nella norma, servizio eccellente. Volevo sottolineare la sensibilità per chi è allergico o intollerante, Vito lo chef è stato accorto in tutto e per tutto. A proposito di chef....l'essere serviti, all'occorrenza da chi ti prepara con amore i tuoi piatti, non è da tutti i giorni. Grazie Vito!!! Ristorante consigliatissimo. Un plauso particolare a Nando che ti allieta la permanenza. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente.
