11/05/2024: We had lunch in this trattoria located in the immediate vicinity of the wonderful Trani Cathedral. We enjoyed two excellent first courses and two dishes of various side dishes based on chicory and potatoes. The cuisine is meticulous and this can be seen not only in the flavor of the food but also in its presentation. Normal price for a tourist location.

10/05/2024: The menu only had meat and sausage. This was very well prepared and tasty. Communication in English was a bit difficult.

07/04/2024: The only flaw is the long wait (Saturday evening) because they don't accept reservations. Pizza and appetizers are always good and genuine. I advise

31/03/2024: The staff welcomed us very helpfully even though we hadn't booked and immediately found us a place for two, even though I noticed that in a small way she was annoyed by this. The waiter who came to take the order was very pleasant and sociable. The restaurant is very welcoming with countless tables with heaters next to them to keep the environment always warm. The parking is excellent with a large area and a very friendly guard. The location is outside the city with a sea view, excellent for a night walk to digest. The waiting times were very short even though I had ordered the marinated octopus and French fries, a small note about the octopus, it was very pleasant to the taste but it seemed very dry to me when eating it, the plating was fantastic. The pizzas were very good although one came out slightly burnt. The price exceeded my expectations and I would have expected much more but instead it was cheap for what I ate.

07/04/2024: I was here for the fixed menu Easter Monday lunch, but I promised myself I would return and try the à la carte menu. From what I could taste, the Easter Monday menu was particular and refined, perhaps a little less so for the second course (the capers were really too salty) and the dessert (a cake made with carrot and tasteless cream). I expected something more from the service, the waitress didn't present the dishes as another waiter did, and they didn't stop to talk to us despite having visibly openly done so with other guests

05/04/2024: We had a wonderful evening at Quintessenza during our visit to Puglia. The tasting menu was delicious, varied and really showcased the local produce. The service was absolutely fantastic, we felt so welcomed and at home. Thank you!

01/04/2024: If before it was excellent, now it is simply something exceptional, every time they manage to improve which makes each visit even more pleasant. Every single dish is an explosion of flavors and a pleasure to travel half of Italy just to come here. A place absolutely not to be missed for any reason in the world, much better than some more famous restaurants with 2/3 Michelin stars. Apollo forever. ❤️

30/03/2024: The very original, welcoming location features furnishings assembled with recovered materials. The room and the services are well kept, quick and precise service. The pizza did not disappoint our expectations and won us over immediately

22/03/2024: A restaurant chosen a bit at random that really satisfied us! The place is well looked after and the kitchen is very organised! Super friendly and helpful staff, quick service. For the cost of the first courses we expected a slightly larger portion, but we're not complaining. The choice is wide and the quality really high, very fresh fish!!! Excellent location, opposite the port of Trani and with numerous car parks in the surrounding area. We spent just under €50 each. All in all not bad!

04/04/2024: Dysentery for the whole group at the table. Slow and careless service. Cod breasts with thorns inside... explain to those who work in the kitchen that any food stuffed or mixed with fish must be carefully thorned!!! You want to kill people! !but anyway!I'm sorry but offering a fixed menu doesn't mean that the customer has had free food. We paid to feel bad. Thank you!

23/01/2024: We stopped by chance for lunch at this delightful restaurant and it was a pleasant discovery. We tasted some excellent starters and fresh pasta first courses! The fish is very fresh and the prices are very fair (the first ones are around €11/13). However, what really pleased us was the professionalism and attention given to us by the dining room staff and the owner. You made us feel like guests, not ordinary customers! Thanks 😊

31/03/2024: Very suggestive location. Good but not great food. I think a place that offers 100 euro tastings should definitely offer better service. I didn't experience high-level table service, although they were still very kind. The clean dishes arrived still wet and slightly dull due to wear and tear. In general I perceived the place as a little too chaotic and with little attention to detail and cleanliness.

25/03/2024: I am writing the review especially for those like me who are gluten intolerant. Invited by a friend for her birthday, I had already known the restaurant for some time, it is a further confirmation. The food is excellent. The gluten-free first courses are the best, and I, who eat very little, finished the dishes because the taste was worth it. The staff are really nice, professional and helpful, so excellent service. I could write a lot, if you want to eat well this is the right place, for cleanliness, food and service. The restaurateur is a nice person, friendly and helpful. Compliments!!
