17/01/2025: I was in this magnificent place for a company lunch and I must say that it exceeded all my expectations, excellent quality of food, excellent service and excellent environment with quite large spaces both inside and outside. It's certainly out of the way but it's worth stopping by to enjoy a good lunch or dinner. Also recommended for those in wheelchairs, there is a fairly large car park

18/12/2024: I have known the Berardi pastry shop for over 20 years. It also offers a restaurant service as well as a bar and pastry shop. The owner and his son are 2 historical figures of the city of Ruvo and we hope that the generational transition will be positive and the quality and service will remain unchanged. I recommend tasting the Mandorlaccio which is available from December to Easter, better if you order by phone.

29/12/2024: We ate the Bresaola starter and it was wonderful. We ordered the meat fondue in oil and the cheese fondue for 5 people. They were both great! Excellent service. We made a reservation but it wasn't crowded (we went on a Sunday night, during the Dec). A little far from the center, but we walked and found it very easy to get there.

23/01/2025: We would like to thank the very pleasant owners of the Mocambo ice cream parlor, Guliana and Vincenzo, for the original experience - making honest, traditional ice cream. The premises, equipment and form of the lesson are authentic. They use only high-quality ingredients, no powdered semi-finished products. When you add to this the owners' many years of experience and ambition, the result cannot be other than perfect ice cream! 22/01/2025: The presentation of the ice cream flavors was beautiful (just that one....it's a shame that the flavors I bought didn't offer anything) the tastes were all the same We couldn't taste the difference between their ancient cream, chocolate, and pistachio None of these 3 tastes, they tasted like the taste itself Bha!

04/11/2024: Siamo stati a pranzo a Villa Fenicia su consiglio di un'amica. E' stata un'esperienza deliziosa. Ambiente da favola, tutto curato nei minimi dettagli, accoglienza attenta e calorosa, musica a nostro gusto. Le pietanze un'esplosione di sapori, piatti raffinati e gustosissimi, dalla zuppa d'entrée al dolce finale con la crema di ricotta e la riduzione di fichi e lime! Il prezzo é adeguato al servizio ed alla qualità.

The tasting was a journey into the authentic flavors of Puglia, an explosion of flavours, with dishes that managed to combine tradition and innovation, with the highest quality raw materials and original combinations. The staff, young and dynamic, pampered us from start to finish. Fabrizio, with his passion and competence, made the experience even more special. And to finish on a high note, an excellent rum and a cigar... what can I say, a complete and unforgettable experience.

27/12/2024: We have been to this place several times, always crowded and you have to book to be sure of having a table to enjoy the good pizzas, also the delicious and highly recommended sandwiches, 10 euros with a drink and chips.

29/12/2024: I visited this pizzeria recently. I must say that it is little known (at least that I know of) in the towns near Ruvo, but it really deserves a lot. The environment is really large, there are many rooms, both internal and external. Everything seems to have been taken care of in detail in both internal and external furnishings. The menu is very rich with proposals of all types, from meat, to fish, to pasta, to pizza, salad, desserts, cocktails, etc., in short, they offer a very broad service! The service was quite fast even though it was a Saturday evening, the staff was very helpful and kind. As for the food, I can say with my eyes closed that it has turned out to be the best pizzeria in Ruvo di Puglia, and in any case I go around a lot of pizzerias and places, and there is no history with other places that up until today I was able to try it in Ruvo. Well-prepared starters, you can see the love for cooking, the search for top quality foods and combinations that should surprise the customer. The pizzas are similarly prepared with really good ingredients and they also surprise the customer. The tiramisu had that note that completed the end of a dinner that started very well and ended in the best possible way. The prices are medium high, but the quality-quantity of food explains why. I highly recommend it to anyone nearby.

03/01/2025: Bad environment, it seemed that the waiters were in a hurry to go home to celebrate... they made us eat at the speed of light.... the dishes were very good but served cold and one after the other without giving time to taste. ...the culmination was the arrival of the cotechino with lentils, sad and cold already at 11pm, that is, a true sacrilege against luck....when I asked for explanations on the matter, I was told that this is how it is used here BUT it is the first time I've seen this mess ....usually here in Puglia the professionalism is high BUT there are exceptions..... unfortunately we came across this Brancaleone army who kicked us out at a New Year's Eve party with the music already turned off at 01.30 ....they were already with brooms in hand tidying up at 02 while we tried to dodge the cleaning to go out ...... musical entertainment deserves a separate mention for the very poor performance .... they stuffed us to then make us dance only from 11.45pm but in fact given the deadly boredom perhaps we were almost lucky... in short I strongly advise against Torre del Monte which is currently very much in decline.....zero empathy....a less than serene environment in short great incompetence. ...a real shame because before when Mr.Pino was there everything was impeccable and professional...he DID take care of the customers and the room worked wonderfully with correct times for each event!!!!Believe us leaving at 02 for New Year's Eve it means we really don't want to celebrate.....we came thinking we would find the usual service but now everything has changed. We will NOT waste our money on 1 canteen service anymore....maybe with a little more humility and a lot of good will you could not make us regret the old times that will never return because the place is also beautiful but without adequate staff it becomes a nightmare to forget...........not recommended!!!!!

01/01/2025: New Year's Eve dinner. I would have given 5* if it hadn't been for a grumpy and rude waiter. Maybe he preferred to stay at home with his family but he was forced to work. After we pointed out to him that he was clearing away the plates of first courses but had not yet served the first course to a lady, it was a continuous crescendo. We still had the dirty dishes of the main courses when they served the lentils and cotechino, our dear waiter served the lentil dishes on the dirty fish ones. (see photo). Complaining about the service, he took away the dirty dishes angrily, so much so that he dropped a full glass of wine on my trousers and on the bag of the lady sitting next to me. Do you think the subject at least apologized? Not by chance did he reply "what can I do" to our complaint. I reported everything to the restaurant manager but the evening was now ruined. Luckily it hadn't struck midnight yet otherwise it would have been a disastrous start to the year. So environment, organization and food 5 service 1 on average I rated it 3. We can't blame the manager but be careful who you call for your evenings. By going on like this you will lose all your customers. Happy New Year. Show less
