05/08/2025: Don't be fooled by the small interior and short menu. Two of us went for dinner and had a wonderful time. The service was excellent and fast, and the waitress who served us was very friendly and welcoming. She even gave us some excellent advice based on any questions we had. We ordered a crostone to share as an appetizer, followed by a first course and a second course. The crostone was a great discovery: unique flavors that make you want to devour it. The first and second courses weren't exactly "pretty" in appearance, but they were truly delicious and flavorful! The prices were fair. The excellent background music was a plus. We'll be back. Recommended!

31/05/2025: Highly recommended! Located in the historic center and precisely in the beautiful Piazza Plebiscito of Putignano where there are often musical and cultural events. Refined furnishings both inside and outside. Then... The pizza: I rarely remember having eaten such a crispy and tasty pizza. The sandwich was also excellent! We will be back!

05/08/2025: We recently had the pleasure of photographing Anna and Hannos wedding at Barsentum, and it was truly unforgettable. As both professionals and guests, we were blown away by the beauty of the space — every corner is steeped in charm, history, and that effortless southern Italian elegance. The staff was warm, attentive, and made everyone feel at home while keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. As photographers, we especially appreciated how coordinated and respectful they were — allowing the couple to fully enjoy the moment while still helping us capture the most important memories.

28/07/2025: We'd always dreamed of a traditional Apulian wedding and a masseria that retained its authentic, rustic feel. For Barsentum, it was love at first sight... The masseria immediately struck us with its many spaces (particularly the panoramic terrace overlooking the Itria Valley, where we had a welcome aperitif at sunset, and the agora, surrounded by trulli, where dinner was held, illuminated by a blanket of fairy lights that helped create an intimate and welcoming atmosphere). Not to be underestimated was the presence of a Plan B in case of inclement weather (outdoors but covered), equal to Plan A and even a Plan C (completely covered). Weeks later, our guests continue to express their appreciation for both the beautiful location and the delicious food. The chef, with great professionalism, was able to accommodate every need, even offering a buffet dedicated to guests with various dietary restrictions (celiacs, lactose intolerant, vegetarians, etc.). The only downside was the unavailability of the rooms within the masseria we had booked for our family, due to delays in the renovations. However, we must acknowledge the helpfulness of the owner, Leonardo, who, to compensate for this shortcoming, provided a shuttle service for their transfer to another property. His constant presence "behind the scenes," his commitment to caring for the masseria, and his attention to guests are among the property's strengths. A special thanks also goes to the manager, Vito, for his availability and patience in accommodating our every request, striving to instill in us the serenity needed to fully enjoy every moment of our big day. And so it was...it was the wedding of our dreams, in a dream location, and we couldn't have made a better choice.

09/07/2025: We stopped here for lunch and had a great time. We had the orecchiette alla crudaiola, which was delicious, and the pizza was also pretty good! The service was quick and the staff were friendly... highly recommended!

05/05/2025: Excellent pizza, quality products. For the child we got some tomato orecchiette, delicious despite the simplicity. Too bad about the long waiting times, probably because they also had a lot of takeaway orders.

22/08/2025: Luckily we found a place, the food is very good, the prices are reasonable, the only flaw is a lot of confusion due to too many people, and the wait is a bit long. For the rest, nothing to say.
