26/06/2025: Super nice location at the arena of Verona. The staff was friendly and fast. Definitely recommended for a drink or a bite to eat. The food was fine and a good price-quality ratio. Unfortunately our food did not arrive at the same time, that was a bit less. Furthermore a nice place to sit for a while and enjoy the surroundings.

12/05/2025: Although the place is a bit hidden it's definitely worth visiting. I had a great pasta with seafood which was very fairly priced, and it contained so much seafood. The food is made with love. The housewine prosecco is great and cheap. Maybe the atmosphere could be a bit improved buy turning off the loud TV.

25/04/2025: Mi ha fatto sentire triste. Buono il cibo ma triste il posto. Secondo la mia sensazione il proprietario sembra non saperci fare con la gente, le persone. Trasuda, secondo me, pessimismo e fastidio e non riesci a percepire che vuole DARTI SERVIZIO (questa è la ristorazione: accoglienza e servizio, altrimenti vado al supermercato e compro del cibo al banco rosticceria) ma che vuole estrarti denaro e anche andare un po' a risparmio. Voglio essere chiara: è ovvio che il lavoro si paga, si paga il servizio, si paga la merce. Ma la qualità del servizio quando si ha a che fare con la gente è molto personale, fisica. Se hai problemi non devono diventare problemi miei. Se io vengo li e già la vita fa schifo, non devo percepire che fa schifo a te: io sono lì per stare meglio, con mio marito, con i miei colleghi o amiche. E invece sento che è tutto triste, infelice, pieno di rabbia trattenuta e mi arriva (ho chiesto e così era anche per gli altri: sguardi silenziosi e poi ho verificato). Inoltre l'atteggiamento generale (ho sentito come parlava con altri) non è mai di autoanalisi e automiglioramento, ma sempre quello di dare la colpa agli altri: che siano i clienti o il mondo crudele, tu mai. Compreso il "tutti dicono che il locale è vecchio". E non ti farai due domande? Se ti dicono tutti che piove è perché piove, non perché si sbagliano o vogliono darti fastidio, constatano un fatto. Questa è stata la mia sensazione e delle persone con me. Si può trascurare? Vai nei posti dove si mangia "per mangiare bene" in Italia, è il prerequisito essenziale, nella nostra Nazione. In quel "bene" però c'è tutta quella manfrina che vogliamo sempre mettere avanti come Italiani quando ci conviene, per non fare i freddi, i tedeschi eccetera. Non è colpa tua se io sono triste. Ma nemmeno mia se sei triste tu: non dobbiamo pagarne noi le conseguenze. Cibo: la "pinsa" è la scelta principale, ma anche la ristorazione (cucina) c'è ed è OK. I prezzi sono nella norma. Locale vecchio (non vintage) ma pulito ed in ordine: serve una riprogettazione dell'illuminazione fatta da qualcuno che sa come fare, per ridurre la generale tristezza senza fare cinesate. Bagni piccoli ma li ho trovati puliti. Bancomat OK senza storie. Parcheggi insomma, se si trova aperta la sbarra del supermercato davanti però OK. Il locale ha l'entrata nella galleria della gioielleria, vicino ad un locker di amazon, lodevole iniziativa del proprietario stesso. Se avessi 17 anni, le cuffie sempre su e lo sguardo al cellulare lo sceglierei: mangi e non badi a nessuno. A pranzo ci verrei, in quella modalità.

28/06/2025: We ate at Christina on our last evening. Excellent service, very attentive, and we felt very comfortable. The food, from appetizers to pasta and pizza, was excellent. Even if no one is sitting there, don't be put off; it's worth a visit!

16/06/2025: During our short vacation on Lake Garda, we visited a few pizzerias. The best pizza for our taste was at La Formica. Each of the four of us had a different "flavor," and everyone was completely satisfied. And, unlike at the other pizzerias, here, after asking for "tanto aglio," we were given fresh garlic in olive oil to help ourselves! The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was great! The prices are absolutely reasonable!

14/06/2025: We were looking for a restaurant that opened before 6 p.m. and finally stumbled upon this one. All the tables were free, and the waitress (or the manager?) greeted us warmly without immediately forcing us to sit down. We were allowed to choose a table outside; it was nicely shaded, and cars drove by every now and then, but it was still quite quiet and pleasant. We immediately felt at home, and the man who served us was super friendly and humorous. My mother wanted extra garlic on her pizza, and we were immediately offered a bowl of garlic oil, which was perfect for us. The pizza was the best we ate there during our week-long vacation. The prices were very fair considering the touristy and central location. The wait was very short (but we were also the only guests), and the restrooms were very spacious and clean. All in all, a very pleasant and recommendable stay.

18/06/2025: We came across Casa Fernandez on Friday evening, after having spotted their paella several times during various trips to Garda… and finally decided to try it! We booked a couple of hours in advance (the paella is on request — it is highly recommended to book in advance also because the restaurant has few seats and fills up quickly). The restaurant is located in a charming street in the center, a few minutes from the lakefront. The atmosphere is simple and authentic, perfect for a relaxing dinner. We chose the traditional Valencian paella: a large portion and really tasty (the photos speak for themselves - “Clean plates don’t lie”). We accompanied it all with half a liter of sangria and still water, spending about 25 euros each, an excellent quality-price ratio. One detail that we really appreciated: the owners speak Spanish among themselves, which adds a nice touch of authenticity — I imagine they are originally from Spain. In short: excellent dinner. We will definitely be back!

30/05/2025: The place is very well kept with a pleasant garden. Don't expect a Neapolitan pizza. Pizza a little too thin and dry but I found the ingredients fresh even if scarce. Fast service.

28/06/2025: My boyfriend (celiac) and I tried this pizzeria for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised, both by the kindness of the waiters and by the attention to dietary needs. A friendly place with a nice atmosphere, highly recommended especially for celiacs/allergy sufferers (it is AIC certified)

23/06/2025: What a disappointment, from the reviews we thought we had found the place of excellence for gluten-free pizza in Padua and instead... It must have been an unlucky evening, more than an hour of waiting, then when our drinks were hot and almost finished the pizzas arrived, assuming it is legal to call them that. Worst gluten-free pizza I have ever seen or eaten both in Italy and even abroad, but to my great surprise even the classic pizza was no better, perhaps it could be called a piadin pizza. Poor ingredients both in quantity and quality. I don't understand the numerous reviews with lots of photos. Nothing to do with what I had on my plate. Positive note the friendliness and welcome of the waiting staff. It's a shame you can't eat kindness.

22/06/2025: Takeaway order, 28 pizzas. Punctual on timing for sure, but not on updating prices. Pizzas chosen on the official website of the pizzeria, out of 28 none had the correct price, all had undergone a markup from 30 to 70 cents. Since the website also allows table reservations, and therefore is viewed more easily, the menu was also updated quickly. Judgment on the pizza, neither praise nor infamy.

02/06/2025: Servizio scadente, dopo due volte che richiedevo un caffè mi sono stancato e sono andato a pagare il conto. La cassiera era più preoccupata che non facessero il caffè in più che al disservizio. Locale che vorrebbe ambire a ristorante, ma con la mediocrità di una pizzeria.

03/06/2025: A restaurant that suits me because I often "use" the "just outside the toll booth". Very welcoming, very organized (since it has more than 300 seats), very good pizza, very suitable for families with children (nice space for them) and very suitable for parties!! Compliments to the waiters for their professionalism, courtesy and patience in slaloming when serving at the tables that are well separated (nice for a bit of privacy) give space to the children who run around the place, but personally even if I don't have children they didn't bother me that much!! The cons on the other hand (in their defense I'll add that I went on a Saturday night with the place 90% full) are the long times to get the food, the noise that made it difficult for me to converse with my companions, and the tiramisu that in my taste had too much cocoa.

25/05/2025: Historic place in the area if you need a good and quick lunch. Really special pizzas and kind and helpful service. I recommend it
