28/02/2026: I had three pizzas delivered to my door. Fabio, the delivery guy, was very punctual and delivered the pizzas right on time. Very kind! I highly recommend them. The dough is top-notch, and I especially recommend the Passione 2 pizza. Go for it!

25/11/2025: I ordered two pizzas for delivery, and the experience was excellent from the phone call. The delivery man was very kind and helpful in listening to our requests. We had booked delivery for 8:20 PM, and the delivery man rang promptly at 8:19 PM. The pizzas were truly delicious: light, easy to digest, and made with quality ingredients, flavorful, and delicious. Highly recommended! I think it will become our go-to pizzeria for home deliveries. Well done!

25/01/2026: Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience. You'd heard good things about this place, but unfortunately, it was a disastrous evening. Starting with the ancient pizza, which the waiter had described as a soft focaccia, but instead it turned out to be soggy or very thin dough. Secondly, the waiter, Samba, was very rude to all the guests. And finally, being told at 10:00 PM that we had to order coffees right away or they wouldn't make them for us because they had to clean the machine. To top it all off, at around 10:15 AM we received the bill without even asking. Terrible service. I really don't think we'll ever return.

16/03/2026: My experience here with my partner was absolutely outstanding this was our first trip to Venice we came to Approdo on our first night and decided to come back every single day after that for food not only was the pizza the best pizza we’ve ever had, the pasta and the tiramisu was amazing as well, the service was incredible Fabio treated us so well throughout our whole stay he knew what he was doing in terms of recommending food and his customer service was the best we’ve seen in a while

23/11/2025: All the other pizzerias were closed this evening, so we ended up at Alle Gru. It looks rather unassuming from the outside, but the pizza menu is impressive. Piero, the owner, gave us excellent advice and helped us choose the perfect pizza from the 70 available. There were six of us, and the pizzas all arrived at the same time and were delicious. As an amuse-bouche, we had a pizza fries, just like in the South. We had a lovely evening here and want to come back. Keep up the good work!

14/11/2025: If you love standing and waiting hungry, this place is for you! This pizzeria is the queen of waiting! When we arrived, there were 5 people waiting 45 minutes for a table!! Kudos to them! We waited 20 minutes, but when other customers arrived, with reservations for a half-hour after ours, the waiter seated them almost immediately. We didn't let that deter us; we waited another 15 minutes and then, alas, had to abandon this challenge. We went to a nearby pizzeria (Da Mario) that offered us a complimentary table as soon as we arrived, even without a reservation; it was very good. I'll definitely be back!

24/02/2026: The pizza was very good, but a little slow because they do a lot of takeout, even during the week. The service was so-so; the waitresses were kind but not very attentive; they didn't even ask if we were ordering dessert. The price was excellent.

12/08/2025: A pleasant surprise; served very quickly, I noticed the dough and toppings for celiacs among the extensive menu. I ordered a sandwich, good quality, same price, guys and girls in tune. Praise...

24/07/2025: Pizzeria by the slice overlooking the street, opposite the Carrara Castle. A few tables outside, but no table service. We went there just last night before a concert at the castle. My wife raved about the gluten-free pizza (AIC certified), homemade dough, and quality ingredients—truly excellent. The only downside I found was the €3 extra charge for gluten-free dough, but these days, it's already hard to find a pizzeria (even with table service) that offers homemade gluten-free pizza.

14/03/2026: Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience, the environment was unhygienic and the food was inedible, including the stewed cuttlefish.

26/01/2026: I'd say the prices are quite high. The pizza is quite good, simple thin crust. But again, they're expensive, not to mention the paper placemat for the service. The atmosphere is nice, but I think the service could be improved.

15/01/2026: 2022: Ordered five pizzas to take home: two Margheritas, one Asiago and speck, one buffalo mozzarella, and one Asiago and white arugula bresaola. The result: two white Margheritas, the bresaola with tomato, Asiago, speck, and buffalo mozzarella. It's okay to get one wrong, but three out of five are not... it really means that either the pizza chef or the person writing the note on their phone doesn't care. At least the receipt was accurate... They gave me a loyalty card for nothing because next time I'll go somewhere else. The pizzas were average. 2023: I returned with my son at the end of October 2023. A radicchio and Asiago, a Margherita, and two half-bottles of water for €28. The pizzas weren't bad, but the price was a bit high. Christmas came before the pizzas. An hour and a quarter to eat two pizzas is too much. 2025: What's right is right... we returned at the end of 2025 and tried the food and pizza. This time everything was very, very good. The prices are high but the quality was there and we all left happy. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

06/01/2026: We occasionally get takeout, and the blonde girl at the counter (Stefi) is always super kind. She answers the phone, does the bills, and serves drinks, all with great professionalism and a big smile. A true professional!
