25/09/2025: Warm, Cosy Dining at Big Ben in Paquier, Aosta. We a group of 6 friends had a really enjoyable meal at Big Ben in Paquier (Aosta). The food is good—flavours are well balanced, and everything feels fresh and satisfying. What stood out most was the friendly staff; they made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and service was attentive without ever being rushed. The atmosphere is cosy and relaxed—perfect for a casual dinner or catching up with friends. Bonus: there’s a big parking area right in front of the restaurant, which makes arriving and leaving stress‑free

24/09/2025: I've been going to this place for years, more often lately because I work nearby. Alas, I won't be going there again. Lately, I've been treated badly, with the owner making us feel uncomfortable by taking away our unfinished dishes, rushing us to order. Yesterday, I found a hair in my food, and the waiter mocked me. Naturally, I paid the bill without even an apology from the owner. Furthermore, they now cook with margarine (a fact confirmed by the owner), and as you can imagine, the taste of the dishes I've always enjoyed is unpleasant. I'm sorry, but you've lost a longtime customer.

10/10/2025: The menu promises more refinement than the dishes on the plates ultimately delivered...in our case, all three of them sounded better than they tasted. Some of the prices are relatively high, not overpriced, but expectations were simply high and weren't met. The service was either composed primarily of trainees that day or generally not on the ball and rather inattentive. You always had to wait a long time for someone or make a lot of noise before someone came to your table. The seating there is very nice and comfortable, though. The ambiance is very tasteful.

21/09/2025: We went to Manuel's for lunch while visiting Aosta. We made a reservation because I'd read in the reviews that it was a good idea, and after about an hour we went. The place is small, with tables outside and inside. The lady who welcomed us was very nice and helpful. We ordered, and without a long wait, our order arrived shortly thereafter. Everything was very good and to our liking, and the price was perfectly in line with the amount of food we ate. An important note... the coffee was excellent!!!

21/09/2025: I was at the restaurant on Saturday. I had a really good time, even though the place was packed. The service was super efficient. My pizza arrived in 5 minutes, and the slice too. Kudos to the staff and management for their organization. Congratulations!!

18/09/2025: Okay, I ordered the daily menu, which is obviously cheaper than the individual dishes. However, the lasagna was truly awful, consisting essentially of just pasta and béchamel sauce, and almost entirely devoid of any ragù. The waiters were very friendly, and the tables were carefully set with beautiful tablecloths and glasses. The prices were reasonable, although the quality could be better.

05/01/2025: Ci siamo fermati per caso in questa pizzeria lungo la strada e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Pizza ottima, impasto e ingredienti, servizio veloce e gentile! Tutto davvero ottimo! Torneremo!!

03/09/2025: Family dinner the third week of August. Welcoming atmosphere. We tried the Valdostan cutlet for the kids...super!...Exceptional Valdostan soup...perhaps the nettle gnocchi were a bit unrelated; they were good but lacked a little extra kick... Recommended wine: Excellent from a new, growing family winery run by eight Valdostan brothers...the price was truly reasonable and not excessive compared to other restaurants we've tried where you can sample typical specialties. Recommended!

19/08/2025: Used as a bed and breakfast, the rooms are cozy and furnished with traditional furnishings. A generous sweet and savory buffet breakfast is served. Clean rooms.

15/08/2025: Paola is very friendly and makes delicious piadine! Highly recommended for anyone in Aosta.

21/07/2025: Anyone passing through Aosta, whether on their way to the Matterhorn, Mont Blanc, or wherever, absolutely must stop for a piadina at Paola's... not only is it the best piadina you'll ever eat, but she's also an incredible person.
