I remember it was on the "boat," but there was only a large salmon. Too bad. We wanted a mixed grill of fish, but... only salmon, swordfish, prawns, and squid? In short, aside from the impeccable service: Mussels and marinara: forget it... Spaghetti with clams: barely adequate Ambience: Aside from the boat, everything was the same. Maybe we'll go back for a pizza.

14/02/2026: What can I say... super good pizza! 😍 The food at Pizzeria La Capricciosa in Donnas is truly delicious: light dough and super fresh ingredients. You can really taste the quality! The place is welcoming and the staff is incredibly friendly, they make you feel right at home. Fast service and fair prices. I'll definitely be back, highly recommended! 🍕✨

11/01/2026: Fantastic place, excellent food! Excellent first and second courses, but especially the meats. The venison was sublime, then the bison...reindeer... We ordered a second course. Even though the portions were already generous, it was worth it. Chef Gianni (take a moment to say hello) is truly amazing! Must try.

09/01/2026: We went for lunch on December 30th, without a reservation. It's our second time here and we're always happy. The ground-floor dining room is very nice. The food was good quality and excellent value, especially considering the area. The food was good, especially considering the presentation. The free meatball tasting before lunch and the mandarin parfait were appreciated. We tried the mocceta and tartare appetizers (excellent). The gnocchetti, ravioli, and taglierini were all very good. The wine was also good. Compliments, recommended, we'll be back.

06/02/2026: When we come to ski in the Aosta Valley, we always eat at this fantastic place at least one evening. This restaurant, pizza place, and music offer excellent quality, both in terms of food, ambiance, and staff/service. Located in the heart of Aosta, with public parking nearby. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and harmonious; the staff is young, friendly, and cheerful. We can vouch for the deliciousness and quality of the pasta dishes, pizzas (some unusual but delicious options), and desserts. The music is a wonderful accompaniment to our evenings. Considering the quality of the food, the warm atmosphere, and the friendly service, we consider the value for money to be reasonable.

The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and kind, always smiling, and the service is quick and courteous, impeccable at any time of day. The food is excellent, with a wide range of dishes prepared with local and indigenous ingredients, all presented with great care. Passion and attention to detail are evident in the kitchen. Another great strength is the continuous hours: open all day, with food always ready, even in the afternoon. The pizza is also excellent, truly delicious. All this is accompanied by more than fair prices, absolutely in line with the quality offered. A restaurant where kindness, professionalism, cleanliness, and quality go hand in hand. 03/12/2025: We just moved to Aosta and aren't familiar with many places, so we relied on reviews. Given all the positive ones, we booked for dinner. I can only confirm. I give everything a 5. The pizza was truly delicious, the staff was friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to go back.

We tried the Valdostan cutlet for the kids...super!...Exceptional Valdostan soup...perhaps the nettle gnocchi were a bit unrelated; they were good but lacked a little extra kick... Recommended wine: Excellent from a new, growing family winery run by eight Valdostan brothers...the price was truly reasonable and not excessive compared to other restaurants we've tried where you can sample typical specialties. Recommended!

26/02/2026: A cozy family restaurant run by a lovely young couple and their wonderful son Gabriel, a boy of about ten who proudly helps his parents, which makes the whole place feel even more special and heartfelt. During our vacation, we visited this restaurant four times, it truly is the best! The prices are very reasonable, and the menu offers a huge variety of pizzas. We ordered pizza twice, and it was absolutely incredible. Out of all our travels around Italy, this is probably our favorite place. Besides pizza, they offer a wide selection of traditional local dishes from Aosta. The beef fillet steak with cheese sauce was unbelievably tender and literally melted in my mouth. Even though I usually prefer grilled meat without any sauces, because I believe a good steak should stand on its own, in this case the cheese sauce complemented it perfectly and enhanced its flavor beautifully. The spaghetti with clams and caviar sauce was also extraordinary. We will definitely come back again. Thank you to the owners for your warm hospitality!

06/01/2026: We came here for pizza and we were not disappointed. The pizza is thin and delicious. Service is very fast :) if you come in winter ask to be seated away from the door or you'll freeze!
