14/01/2026: A wonderful, family-run hotel for relaxation and enjoyment, with breathtaking views over Schenna and the Merano Valley. We stayed there with our family between Christmas and New Year's and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The food, with its buffets and set menus, was excellent, and we would especially like to thank Silvia for her outstanding service. The hotel also boasts a lovely wellness area with indoor and outdoor pools. The latter is even open in winter and offers stunning views while swimming.

16/03/2026: A perfect start to the gravel season! My son and I spent five days at Terzer in March. We can't praise it enough and highly recommend it. What we especially liked was the atmosphere in the hotel. We felt comfortable and welcome from the very first minute. The rooms are modern, comfortable, and very clean. The breakfast buffet has everything cyclists could want. The on-site restaurant/pizzeria offers excellent food at reasonable prices. The bike room is perfect: it even has a small, very well-equipped workshop. The Terzer team: extremely friendly and easy to deal with, and they manage to create a wonderful atmosphere. The tour suggestions: perfect – whether moderate or challenging, short or long, steep or flat. Thank you, Lukas Terzer! And if you hear brass band music playing in the hallways one afternoon and there's a knock on your door, it means it's time for a little aperitif in the party cellar. Really nice. We'll be back.

27/06/2026: I'm giving it two stars because it started off well. We were seated and told to order as soon as possible because the kitchen was closing in 5 minutes, but when the waiter came to take our order, he told us the kitchen had already closed... I don't like to leave bad reviews, but the situation warrants it 🤷‍♂️

04/05/2026: I ordered several pizzas and two doner kebabs. The delivery was extremely late; the pizza was already cold, and the doner kebab was simply missing.

09/07/2026: A wide selection of different pizzas, and they're all delicious. Fresh from the stone oven, quickly prepared and delivered, and all at very fair prices! Chili oil, olive oil, and vinegar were available separately. We are extremely satisfied and highly recommend this place, even though it may seem unassuming from the outside at first glance.

27/06/2026: Very nice place and really good pizza, but the service is really poor. We made a reservation for four, but there was no reservation. I had to show them the two-minute call saved in the call log. We ordered four beers, five arrived. We ordered four pizzas, three arrived. The fourth person watched us eat for 30 minutes. We asked three or four times, but were told it would arrive in three minutes. After another fifteen minutes, I lost patience and raised my voice slightly. Coincidentally, the pizza arrived, and we were told it would be free.

02/05/2026: We were a group. The welcome from the owner was very good. The cocktail was very weak and could be improved. Starting with the room: The bathroom was newly renovated, the furnishings were older but well-maintained. The mattresses were very soft and could use replacing. The balcony was lovely with an even better view of the Mutspitze peak and the valley. It was always clean. Service in the restaurant was very good. The reception staff were also always helpful. The breakfast buffet was adequate and perfectly sufficient. The only negative point was dinner. You had to eat a lot of salad beforehand, and the men, in particular, had trouble with the portion sizes. For example, two tortellini as a starter is quite small. But the main criticism was the taste. It was almost entirely lacking in flavor. Very bland. It was missing everything, even spices and salt. Improvement is needed. Perhaps it's also due to our age that we would have preferred traditional South Tyrolean cuisine instead of fancy dishes. The dessert was decorated with mint leaves, which were all wilted – something we've never seen before. It's best to avoid it. Otherwise, the hotel is a good choice.

The visual impact, combined with the design of the rooms (extremely welcoming and well-maintained), defines a setting I would describe as unparalleled. Management and Hospitality: The true added value is the human capital. The owners manage the property with a dedication that transforms the guest-hotelier relationship into an almost family-like bond. The welcome is impeccable, warm, and consistent. Services and Wellness: The common areas and services are top-notch; in particular, the pool proves to be a key element for relaxation. Food and Wine: The quality of the food is excellent, complemented by a varied and high-quality breakfast buffet. Although the dinner price is slightly above average, it's justified by the quality of the ingredients and the service. Final Considerations The only real "downside" is the objective difficulty of leaving the property at the end of your stay: leaving such a rejuvenating and harmonious environment is the only sore point in an otherwise perfect experience.
