09/11/2024: I feel sorry for anyone calling this pizza place a 5. This is at best a 3. I gave it a 3 bc the people running the store seemed really nice and dedicated to making pizza. We couldn’t sit down even though no one ever came in and the 2 tables were never used. The dough is so plain. Cheese over cooked. Just really disappointing pizza. I have much better all over Italy and in the states.

Piatti buoni, se pur tendenti a prezzi medio alti.
Salone abbastanza affollato ma non si sta male. Accettano i clienti fino a tardi.
Non mi sento di dare oltre tre stelle per via dei servizi posti ad un piano rialzato accessibile con scale ripida non consona a persone con difficoltà motoria.
Altra cosa sui tavoli non è prevista una tovaglia con i piatti e posate poggiate sul nudo legno del tavolo.

06/08/2024: I do NOT recommend this restaurant. Pizzas were very basic and bare. Few ingredients, I've had them much better elsewhere! We ordered 4 ice teas, we were not asked if we wanted a large or a can. As a result, we ended up paying €5 per glass of ice tea. We saw at the bar that the ice tea came from a bottle from Lidl! When I pointed this out, it was simply “too bad for you, we always do this”. Also charge 15% extra - “for the use of fork and knife”….. hmm, special 😂. I would find another restaurant!
05/08/2024: Just good. Very good pizza. Drinks well taken care of. Nice and attentive waiter who thinks along and advises. Nice atmosphere with excellent rock music in the background. You rarely experience that.

03/11/2024: ristorante storico del cuore della città di Volterra. Sala ricca di vini e fotografie che ritraggono eventi legati alla storia del ristorante. Sul menù la fanno da padrone la Pasta fatta in casa e prodotti locali molti dei quali provenienti dalla loro stessa azienda agricola.
Ho assaggiato i tagliolini al tartufo con crema inglese salata: pasta ottima ( peccato solo un po’ poca) , cottura perfetta, generosa la dose di tartufo, la salsa in accompagnamento era servita su un cucchiaio a parte e legava perfettamente il piatto una volta amalgamata alla pasta. Poi ho assaggiato una degustazione di ottimi pecorini. Servizio cortese e attento. Posto consigliato, non turistico ma molto tradizionale.
27/10/2024: Troppo caro per ciò che offre, pasta abbastanza buona ma fredda carne tenera ma non troppo elaborata, dolci nella media .
Con il vino della casa farmi spendere come in in ristorante di pesce ci sta poco

28/08/2024: Food is a disaster, I have never eaten so badly in Italy. We were stunned at how bad the taste of this meal was. Service very strange. 120€ for hungry stomachs.
26/08/2024: For us, visiting this restaurant (to which we received a positive recommendation) was a big disappointment.
Unpleasant service, if you order a liter of water, you get two plastic bottles.
The pizza is fine but not particularly tasty, the second dish we ordered pasta carbonara, which was very far from them.
We returned an entire meal and the waiter didn't bother to ask us if it was good.
He asked if we had finished eating and we said yes to the pasta, he took the plate and put it on our already eaten pizza.
Very bad experience and we do not recommend visiting this restaurant.

03/11/2024: Esperienza terribile, 1 ora e 35 di attesa per un primo il quale è arrivato freddo e privo di alcuni alimenti che dovevano comporlo, oltretutto con una quantità esigua per un valore di 26€. Le bevande sono arrivate dopo circa 40 minuti, potevo alzarmi e andarmene ma ero curioso di vedere fin dove si spingesse la scarsa logistica di questo locale. Assolutamente da evitare.
03/11/2024: Attesa lunghissima, circa 2 ore,(anche per una bottiglia d'acqua),camerieri non cordiali. Alla fine dei conti arrivano i piatti freddi e porzioni minime in confronto al prezzo.

02/12/2023: La cecina più buona e digeribile della Toscana! Premetto che amo la cecina ma in tutte le pizzerie Versiliesi mai trovata una cecina così bassa, ben cotta e digeribile! Vale la pena tornare a Volterra per mangiarla! Top! Simpaticissimo il proprietario! Grazie Laura e Alessandro
30/07/2023: Unfriendly and unprepared staff, no foreign language knowledge, avoid at any cost. I ordered two pizzas, and I was told that it will take 10 minutes until they are ready. They asked for upfront payment, of course. After 15 minutes of waiting I was told that it will be another 5 minutes. After 30 minutes I reminded one of the staff members who took my order that the wait takes longer than what was promised. The staff then got angry at me and talked over my head in Italian. I also felt some verbal aggression targeted at me, but as said, I can only assume because they talked in Italian. In the meantime they served pals of theirs instead of taking care of my order. After 40 minutes of waiting I was offered my money back or another 5 minutes waiting. As I lost lots of time already sitting in a their very bad and smelly environment instead of sightseeing with my kids, I said I’m fine with another 5 minutes. After 45 minutes of waiting time they started to bake my pizzas. The end result tasted OK, but definitely not worth the money or the time. Shame on the staff, will not return. Such place does not deserve a spot in in such a beautiful city centre.
