06/04/2024: Restaurant in the center, where giving in to the adaptation of Sicilian cuisine to tourism is unfortunately almost inevitable. Here, however, tradition, at least in some dishes, resists. And so the pasta alla norma is very good, the fish spaghetti more than decent. The starters include caponata and mussel sauté, both good. The fresh fish is a decent small sea bream. We avoid what is yielded to tourism and what can be seen on the plates of many Americans. The service was good (a little slow) and the bill was correct. It definitely deserves a good rating.

26/03/2024: Restaurant located in the central area, i.e. in the main street of Taormina (unfortunately the only advantage identified) Overall, a clean and well-furnished restaurant, located in a nice area, also offering a terrace overlooking the sea; Too bad about everything else... spaghetti with clams, paid at a good restaurant price, but served truly without taste, rather than a plate of spaghetti with clams I would have compared it to plain pasta... disappointing! Unprofessional room service.. it's work, okay! But if you don't like it, better not do it, you can't sulk all the time! A minimum fake smile at least!

17/03/2024: I often went with friends and with mum and dad. Excellent pizza, food, courtesy and quality. Excellent prices and spectacular location, in the center of Taormina. I have to go back with mom and my puppy.👍

16/11/2023: Fantastic, exciting experience... Good food, warm atmosphere, friendly management, strategic posizioni right on the beach with pictoresque view of Taormina and its lights reflecting on the sea. We will spend for sure other pleasant evenings at Flamingo's

05/11/2023: We came for lunch after spending the morning on the pleasant beach of Letojanni. My daughter was very ill and vomited all evening, right after eating her dish of pasta with vongoli. A clear case of food poisoning. It could be they were emptying their “leftovers”, two days before the annual closing. This bad experience has really spoiled the end of our otherwise lovely holidays in Sicily.

03/04/2024: Unfortunately we were forgotten immediately after we were brought to the table. The cards only came after we asked for them. After that we were forgotten again and it took a long time before we could order. Unfortunately they forgot to bring us the starter. Unfortunately, a waiter never came by again after the meal and we had to look for someone to pay... it's a shame... the food was otherwise delicious.

06/12/2023: Strávili jsme zde dovolenou v září. Skvělá volba. Hotel nebyl plný. Jedná se o udržovanou hotelovou vesničku. Pokoje pro Čechy sice na kopci, jak někdo další v recenzi uvádí, ale to považuji spíš za výhodu. Člověk se krásně projde, je dost daleko od večerního hlasitého programu u bazénu a ty výhledy stojí za to si vyšlápnout, ať už v noci nebo přes den. Areál nabízí mnoho cest a podél nich krásných stromů, květin a keřů, takže každá cesta areálem byla zážitek. Pokoj jsme měli každý den perfektně čistě uklizený, jakýkoliv problém vyřešila recepce okamžitě. Jídlo bylo připravováno vždy z čerstvých surovin a bylo vynikající. Velký výběr i z místních specialit. Programů hotel nabízel každý den několik. Přitom ale nebyl nikomu vnucován. Takže když jste neměli chuť se zapojit, mohli jste v klidu sledovat a užívat si italskou hudbu a temperament. V areálu hotelu možnost nákupů suvenýrů, oblečení, šperků, nebo výletů místní cestovní kanceláře. V okolí stojí za to navštívit stánek Antonia na parkovišti a hlavně vyhlídku na skále nad hotelem, která nabídne nádherné a výhledy nejen na moře. V areálu bazén, pláž byla krásná zejména v blízkosti skály s jeskyní a malinkou plážičkou, ne kterou lze bezpečně doplavat. Určitě doporučuji toto místo navštívit. My byli s dovolenou opravdu spokojeni.

15/10/2023: Siamo stati per un fine settimana. Stanze un po troppo datate. Una delle stanze si allagata dentro,perché ha piovuto. Ristorante con posate appiccicose e bicchieri sporchi( segni di rossetto) Niente da dire a tutto il personale che ci lavora,si danno da fare e sono rispettosi e gentili. Mangiare a buffet,che io personalmente non ho gradito,paste un po troppo asciutte. La colazione è stata la cosa che ho gradito un po di più,ma niente di eccezionale. Uno dei miei figli in piscina ha avuto un problema e ha chiamato" aiuto" ma il bagnino era con il cellulare , ma per fortuna ,c'era sua cugina che si accorta di tutto! Un altro punto che ha causato disagio è stato la chiusura del bar alle 00:00,lasciando i clienti senza poter bere un caffè o un semplice bicchiere d acqua oltre l orario. Anche perché c era tanta gente che giocava a carte nei tavoli fuori e sarebbe stata cosa gradita il bar aperto o quantomeno mettere dei distributori automatici che si attivano solo dopo la chiusura del bar. Pezzo forte cabaret,li ci siamo divertiti davvero tanto. C era un ragazzo bravissimo!! Il mare è bello,organizzano diverse cose in spiaggia; musica giochini,ginnastica ecc. Un consiglio per la struttura per rendere il soggiorno più piacevole, sistemare l orario del bar o attrezzarsi di distributori e un occhio di riguardo alla pulizia delle stoviglie...perché comunque la sala era pulita!
