07/03/2024: It doesn't need stars or judgements. I've been several times. I ate like hell in 2020 and a week ago. Less well in 2021 and 2022, but still at considerable levels.

04/03/2024: I celebrated my daughter's 18th, Mr Arturo was a really good person. The food was excellent, everything was delicious, the only bad thing was the service, the manager was a grumpy, rude waitress, the 18th started at 9.30pm and already at 11.30pm they were rushing us as we had to finish dinner, they took away the plate of a 4 year old granddaughter of mine when she hadn't finished eating the second course yet. To take the photos I had paid a girl to let me make the arch with the balloons at the table where my daughter had to take photos with the cake and the person in charge had the arch placed in a corner where there was no table. .so all the photos only came with the cake.. I reported the manager's rudeness to Mr. Arturo and he apologised. I should have celebrated another birthday two months later but one thing is certain they have lost customers and respect. I just hope the person in charge calms down and gets off her pedestal.

30/03/2024: We went to "l'Orso" on the recommendation of a friend, who had defined it as one of the best, if not the best culinary experience in Messina. We opted for pizza: a choice not from an endless list but all refined and gourmet. The surprise was when they arrived on the table, the flavor and quality of the products used exactly reflected the expectations of the choice. First-rate service, efficient, discreet and absolutely professional dining room staff. Large location, not chaotic. Prices in line with the general quality of the dishes and the venue. 09/03/2024: The place is worth a visit, if only for the spectacular location, on the slopes of the volcano which offer breathtaking views during eruptions. Not unforgettable food, we tried a sufficient margherita pizza, some appetizers, but we appreciated the service and the rustic environment of the structure. I don't know if it can still be reached by shuttle, which moved along a small, curvy uphill road which may have been interrupted, so that needs to be checked now otherwise the only way is to take a walk

19/01/2024: Andare a cena all'Osservatorio è una esperienza unica che consiglio a chiunque!!!! Una cosa veramente eccezionale, potere mangiare e osservare le esplosioni del vulcano. Luogo unico al mondo.

01/04/2024: Unforgettable Easter Monday lunch at Forchetta del Castello! Exquisite and plentiful food, with impeccable service. Andrea and Angela, the waiters, were really friendly and smiling even though the place was full. Absolutely recommended and we will definitely be back!

01/04/2024: With my friends we chose La Forchetta del Castello for Easter Monday lunch and we were extremely satisfied with the experience. The food was simply delicious, with generous portions that left us fully satisfied. But what truly made our lunch memorable was the impeccable service. The waiters, among whom Andrea and Angela stood out, proved to be extremely friendly, helpful and always smiling despite the place being crowded. We will undoubtedly return here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality dining experience accompanied by great service

31/03/2024: The restaurant is also a B&B due to the recent renovation. We went to the restaurant for Easter lunch. Packed place. Fixed menu as always, various appetizers, 3 very reduced first courses and grilled meat (sausage and chops only) and sweet and sour rabbit. Sweets+biscuits, Malvasia, bitters and coffee. Drinks of your choice (coca cola, orangeade), water and local wine...total 40 euros each. Friendly and helpful staff, fast service, customer focus. Nothing to complain about then for the particular day everything went well. The only flaw is that the road to get there is very bumpy.

23/03/2024: I returned to the pergola after many years. I must say that the memories I have of the first time have remained unchanged over time. Excellent welcoming place, polite, fast and attentive service and the quality is always at home. Thank you

28/03/2024: Thank you for the lovely evening. Service very friendly and attentive. The food was top. Vitello Tonnato fresh and more in the Piedmontese style. We recommend. Fish was also very tasty. The highlight was the osso buco. That was incredible and absolutely fitting on this stormy February evening. Plus a heavy red Bordeaux blend from Sicily. Perfetto

26/03/2024: Very nice restaurant with incredible views in the heart of Taormina. The ravioli al scoglio are spectacular!!! Very generous portions at a fair price. Attentive and fast service.

14/01/2024: Saletta esterna davvero luminosa, il personale é stato cordiale e disponibile. Sotto il consiglio dello staff abbiamo goduto di un pranzo di qualità. Tutto ottimo in particolare la zuppa di cozze, che é la specialità del ristorante. Alla fine il sorbetto al limoncello é stata la ciliegina sulla torta, il migliore che avessi mai mangiato. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente!

08/01/2024: Wir haben hier sehr gut gegessen: Ravioli mit Cernia gefüllt und Pistaziensoße, gegrillte Sepia, Muscheln mit hausgemachter Tomatensoße nach traditioneller Art und dünne Scheiben von Schwertfisch, Thunfisch und Lachs. Hervorragend war auch die Beilage Cima di Rape (Stängelkohl) gekocht, das es häufig in Italien gibt und hier besonders gut schmeckte. Alles war sehr schön und liebevoll angerichtet, die Qualität topp. Die Räume, u.a. auch eine überdachte Terrasse, sind sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und die Betreiber sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
