Vany has been a go-to place in Villacidro for years now, but their true strength is their staff, made up of young men and women who work hard every day, with the smiles and determination of true professionals, to make the final product truly unique. Well done, guys, keep it up...

04/11/2025: What was very surprising, while almost everyone (local) comes to pick up pizza or eats on the spot, are their burgers!!! The palette of flavors, from peppers, pickles, fresh meat, home-baked rolls, provolone .... etc. is incredible! A gem to discover in Villacidro.

28/08/2025: Cruelly shoddy pizzas: raw dough and sauce, tiny, long preparation times. Avoid them entirely.

21/08/2025: Without a doubt, our go-to pizzeria for takeout pizza. The dough is excellent, always easy to digest and light, and the ingredients used are top-quality and varied. Deliveries are on time, with pizzas always piping hot. The app is convenient. A special mention goes to a problem that was promptly resolved (the only issue out of hundreds of pizzas ordered). Because when you're working, things can go wrong (it can happen that hundreds of orders burn a pizza), but you don't always find the willingness to fix it and the humility to do so. In our case, an excellent pizza was promptly returned to us, complete with an apology and a free gift. Highly recommended.

24/08/2025: Passing by, we decided to stop for dinner. We looked for a place and based on the positive reviews, we trusted it. I can confirm: the pizza was excellent (they had zucchini flowers available and recommended I order it: zucchini flowers, bottarga, and shrimp), thin, just the way I like it, delicious dough, excellent ingredients. My husband ordered beef steak with a side of grilled vegetables. Everything was delicious, the meat was excellent quality, tender, and well-cooked. The kids had penne with tomato sauce, and they loved it. Fair prices. Very kind and welcoming staff. Nice location. We'll definitely be back and recommend it.

03/10/2025: Everyone's always super friendly, the prices are fair, the service is fast, and Roberto (I don't know him personally, but I've heard that's his name) makes the pizza right in front of you. When I'm in Alghero, I always go there.

10/10/2025: From Bora Bora Beach, we walked here along the promenade in 15 minutes. This wonderful restaurant immediately appealed to us. The colorful umbrellas, the many plants, the great terrace, and the wonderful sea view. Plus, the super friendly staff and delicious food. Some things take some getting used to; for example, an Italian bratwurst doesn't taste like a German one. And not all fried fish is the same. Still, everything is really good. The campsite is nearby, so this restaurant also has a small shop with the most delicious olive oil and a small souvenir shop. It was lovely here.

20/10/2025: At Marino and Sabrina's, the pizzas are always excellent and tasty! They are always very kind and welcoming, it's a pleasure to come back every time.

29/08/2025: A truly terrible experience. The place was dirty and unwelcoming. They treated us rudely on the phone, yelling for no reason. Once we arrived, the pizza chef complained that we had paid by card, thinking I didn't understand Italian. The pizza was terrible, with poor-quality ingredients, and the prices were incredibly high for what they offer. Never again. I'm giving it one star because it's the best I can give!

29/11/2025: It's 2025, and there are still places that don't allow split payments via POS. The staff is rude and inattentive to diners' requests. Service is extremely slow. They don't allow appetizer orders on Saturdays. The only positive note is the spectacular pizza!

03/06/2025: A beautiful restaurant with minimalist yet striking decor and an exhibition of works by Sardinian artists like Angelo Maggi. Excellent food, from pizza to seafood. The owner is kind and helpful, the service is excellent, and the wine selection is excellent for those who enjoy a fine glass of wine with their meal. I always enjoy returning when I return to Nuoro.

04/09/2025: We stopped by chance after a day at the beach to try the famous grilled porceddu (pork suckling pig), since it was advertised on the sign! We stopped and asked the lady if it was possible, and she replied "by reservation only," pointing to the sign. We then pointed out that the sign, which misleadingly stated "reservations appreciated," didn't specify whether it was for reserving a table, etc. INVASED BY WASPS, they brought us a cauldron of wasp-proof coffee, but by then the wasps were eating even that! Anyway, we opted for the mixed grill, plated sausage, and pizzas. Almost nothing was edible... the bill came to 93 euros, including 10 euros for a cover charge... as if they were Excelsior tablecloths. The worst possible experience.

30/08/2025: A quaint spot, outdoors with a canopy. The meat kitchen is open to the public, while the pizza and appetizer kitchen is indoors, but always visible. There's zero risk of contamination for celiacs (if you eat meat). They also have packaged gluten-free bread (good). Helpful and friendly staff. The suckling pig is delicious; best to reserve by phone. Recommended!!
