10/10/2025: From Bora Bora Beach, we walked here along the promenade in 15 minutes. This wonderful restaurant immediately appealed to us. The colorful umbrellas, the many plants, the great terrace, and the wonderful sea view. Plus, the super friendly staff and delicious food. Some things take some getting used to; for example, an Italian bratwurst doesn't taste like a German one. And not all fried fish is the same. Still, everything is really good. The campsite is nearby, so this restaurant also has a small shop with the most delicious olive oil and a small souvenir shop. It was lovely here.

21/08/2025: Without a doubt, our go-to pizzeria for takeout pizza. The dough is excellent, always easy to digest and light, and the ingredients used are top-quality and varied. Deliveries are on time, with pizzas always piping hot. The app is convenient. A special mention goes to a problem that was promptly resolved (the only issue out of hundreds of pizzas ordered). Because when you're working, things can go wrong (it can happen that hundreds of orders burn a pizza), but you don't always find the willingness to fix it and the humility to do so. In our case, an excellent pizza was promptly returned to us, complete with an apology and a free gift. Highly recommended.

10/04/2026: The latest of many negative experiences due to poor service. It's a shame, because the pizzas are good (including the gluten-free ones, which are just as good as the regular ones), well-topped, and reasonably priced. We booked a table for 8:30 PM, and finally, at 8:50 PM, they come over to take our order. The dining room is crowded, not particularly well-kept (the cloth tablecloth is dirty, but fortunately the paper tablecloth hides it from view), more like a trattoria. We wait 50 minutes for the pizzas to arrive, while discontent spreads among the dozen people who, like us, have to wait interminably long lines for their food. One of us ordered the smaller pizza, intending to finish the meal with a sweet pizza, but it becomes clear that he'll have to forgo it unless he wants it for breakfast the next day. The regular pizzas arrive, the size that at any other pizzeria would be considered smaller. The smaller pizza arrives: €10 for what's essentially a take-out pizza (I've attached a photo with a fork to give you a better idea of ​​the size). At least they're good. We get up immediately after finishing the pizzas to finish the meal at home. We hear the waiter justify himself by saying they have one less pizza chef, but given the reviews and our previous experiences, it seems like an excuse. In fact, every time we've ordered takeout, our order has always disappeared or, not associated with the orderer's name, lost among the nameless orders: basically, it's quicker to show up in person and talk to the pizza chef. And we've always had to wait 20-40 minutes in the heat of the dining room or in the cold on the street while the (otherwise very kind) waiter weaves through everyone waiting for their order. Yes, the pizza is good, but not good enough to endure all this again.

The food and cocktails were excellent, but above all, the staff were friendly and helpful, starting with Antonio, the owner, with whom I chatted a lot, and the entire team behind the bar and at the tables: Yadira, Annalisa, Nadia, Marta, and Viviana. 24/08/2025: Passing by, we decided to stop for dinner. We looked for a place and based on the positive reviews, we trusted it. I can confirm: the pizza was excellent (they had zucchini flowers available and recommended I order it: zucchini flowers, bottarga, and shrimp), thin, just the way I like it, delicious dough, excellent ingredients. My husband ordered beef steak with a side of grilled vegetables. Everything was delicious, the meat was excellent quality, tender, and well-cooked. The kids had penne with tomato sauce, and they loved it. Fair prices. Very kind and welcoming staff. Nice location. We'll definitely be back and recommend it.

11/10/2025: Unfortunately we didn’t have a great experience here. We were excited about eating some seafood. The antipasto of cozze alla marinara was good. Then, we ordered 1 portion of fish ravioli to share. The dish lacked flavor entirely and the ravioli were definitely not fresh or cooked well. Not only that, they charged us for 2 portions when we asked for one. The grilled calamari was good.

Vany has been a go-to place in Villacidro for years now, but their true strength is their staff, made up of young men and women who work hard every day, with the smiles and determination of true professionals, to make the final product truly unique. 04/11/2025: What was very surprising, while almost everyone (local) comes to pick up pizza or eats on the spot, are their burgers!!! The palette of flavors, from peppers, pickles, fresh meat, home-baked rolls, provolone .... etc. is incredible! A gem to discover in Villacidro.

The service was very friendly and attentive. My only complaint to the restaurant owner: please get a pepper mill. This would make it look more authentic 🤌
