27/08/2025: A lovely discovery. The atmosphere is refined, the fish and meat dishes are excellent, and the pizzas are also delicious. The young man who served us was truly excellent in giving us advice and managing the dinner, demonstrating passion and professionalism.

13/07/2025: Amazing lunch! I was already impressed by the description of the dishes and the friendliness of Claudio, the owner, over the phone when I booked. We arrived and opted for the tasting menus. Everything, from start to finish, was excellent and plentiful. Beautifully presented, we had the opportunity to sample many local specialties. I thank Claudio and Beatrice for allowing us to try exquisite Sardinian dishes. This is a place worth keeping in mind and definitely returning.

10/07/2025: Ristorante Pizzeria La Pineta is located in Arzana at Vico 1, Via Don Orione 4. The restaurant, which opened in 1977, has retained its original style. The historic photographs displayed throughout the restaurant are also beautiful. For lunch, we enjoyed the typical Ogliastra cuisine, including culurgiones (a type of pasta), orrubioloso (a type of pasta), and the fantastic roast meats. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was very family-friendly; don't expect a fancy restaurant, but this makes up for the genuine hospitality and informality of the place. A truly authentic place where you can savor the flavors of Sardinia. The view from the parking lot, overlooking the coast, is beautiful. Even though it was a fairly hot day, the cool air from the pine forest stretching along the mountainside added to the atmosphere. A well-deserved five stars.

11/08/2025: Yesterday we had dinner at this establishment, we were given exactly an hour for dinner, they sat us at the most uncomfortable table, the pizza was one of the worst I've ever eaten, we ordered three different ones and three were pretty tasteless. The staff was friendly, that's the only plus.

09/08/2025: Sera d’estate, una pizza a Golfo Aranci:? Impossibile non andare in questo locale, caratteristico e molto carino, con una pizza eccezionale!! Eravamo in sette, abbiamo preso tutti pizze diverse, ottime! Un cenno per “la parmigiana”, al primo assaggio sembra di assaporare una porzione di melanzane alla Parmigiana, e nonostante fosse bella abbondante, finita e apprezzata fino all’ultimo spicchio. Gentilezza e cortesia.

06/08/2025: What can I say? Food and friendliness in the same place, at the same time. Ask for homemade myrtle liqueur, the true taste of Sardinia.

30/07/2025: Initial service was courteous and efficient. But the pizzas were paper-thin, sparsely topped, and mediocre. Then we had a very long wait to order desserts (practically all industrially made), for which the menu didn't list any prices. No waiter came to take our order because the place was starting to fill up. Tired of waiting, we headed to the cashier for the bill, and to our surprise, the owner quickly wrote down the prices on a piece of paper and by hand—which we couldn't make out. A receipt for the total was issued. Surprised by the high price, we asked again for the bill, which the owner wrote down for us by hand, looking annoyed and cross. "I've been doing this for twenty years." With this kind of customer treatment, we're sure we won't be returning. A terrible experience!

18/07/2025: We stayed in Villacidro for 3 days and always ate at the taverna, both for lunch and dinner. The food was always good and fresh. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, always available to satisfy or offer advice. Everyone was really good.

07/08/2025: I didn't like the service because there were four of us, and due to lack of space, they made me sit on a rock and dine there, and then charged me €2 service fee even though I didn't have a chair to dine on. At no point did they offer me a chair to sit on, nor did they let me choose where to sit. They made me wait 10 minutes since I had arrived quite early, and after a while, they seated us there without any right to comment. All that aside, we had a very good dinner.

05/08/2025: A real discovery! I had lunch at this restaurant-pizzeria and I can say that everything was perfect: the welcome, the service, and, above all, the food! I can't wait to return to try the pizza, and perhaps some of the fish dishes or one of the first courses that piqued my interest. Highly recommended!
