05/09/2025: The owner and the girls in charge of preparation have been welcoming us, with their spontaneous and delightful kindness and courtesy, for over 10 years now. This pizzeria offers a variety of sizes of pizza, each with a wide variety of toppings to suit your taste, all of which are impeccable in quality. The four of us, with our sweet tooth, regularly order the largest tray, which you can choose from with up to 15 different flavors. We find the zucchini, Sardinian sweet, and mint to be spectacular, but there's truly so much to choose from. A special mention goes to the pasta, crispy and golden on the inside, with a fragrance and digestibility that we've truly only experienced here. At the end, they give you a box to take away any leftovers, which are always delicious when reheated the next day. Super-fair price: a large tray, a 66cl Ichnusa and a 33cl (note the pleasant finesse of the chilled mugs fresh from the freezer), and two small bottles of water, totaling €50. Warning: this is a top-notch pizzeria serving pizza by the slice, so one of the great things about it is that the tray with the pre-sliced ​​pizza is brought to the table and you eat with your hands, no cutlery or plates—just generous paper napkins. So stay away from those who don't like it if the service isn't provided by waiters in suits and white gloves with top-notch tableware, etc., etc. Here, the focus is rightly on substance, which has never let us down even once over the years—quite the opposite. Better to book: around here, everyone knows this place is great without even reading the reviews... Long live the quality, kindness, and honesty that can still be found all together here!

29/10/2025: We were there in September and it was truly a gem. The food was excellent and the waiters were very friendly. We spent a wonderful afternoon on the terrace. Highly recommended if you're in Fertilia, as I don't think there's another place quite like this restaurant.

24/10/2025: Went for lunch. Was told much of the menu wasn't available as it was lunchtime(!), including pizza not offered at lunchtime for some strange reason. Annoyingly we only found this out after trying to order. All very odd despite being called Ristorante "Pizzeria" il Paguro! Roasted boar also wasn't available which was my second choice. So in the end we were left with a very limited selection of lunchtime choices which was disappointing. Outdoor patio gazebo is very nice to sit in, but unfortunately the roof structure helps the cigarette smoke to linger for all the non-smoking patrons while eating. Service seemed abit off to me, they weren't particularly busy at all but it almost felt like they were overwhelmed. Desserts were good, though nothing exceptional enough to make me return. I have many favourite restaurants in the Alghero/Fertilia area so don't think I'll be returning il Paguro.

19/10/2025: We were here at lunchtime on the rooftop terrace. The view while eating was fantastic. The staff was friendly, and the food came quickly. The calzone is highly recommended. The prices are great. We would go back anytime.

16/10/2025: We came here on the recommendation of a local resident. The local food was very good and the service was excellent. And if you bring your dog, you'll be warmly welcomed and cared for. Highly recommended!!!

09/11/2025: I hadn't been to this pizzeria for over twenty years. Excellent thin pizza, well cooked in the traditional wood-fired oven, well-seasoned and easy to eat. Not stringy like many others, very tasty, quick and courteous service, no-frills, clean and welcoming. Reasonable prices, try it.

22/11/2025: On a November evening when practically everything in northern Gallura is closed, Pizzeria Caltinu in Palau is like a beacon for sailors at night! Very good food; the pizza dough surprised me with its lightness and flavor! The service is quick and friendly, and the bill was equally surprising. I've finally found a winter refuge where I can enjoy excellent pizza at lunchtime and in the evening! Congratulations, Caltinu 🤩

23/10/2025: A fairly typical pizza you can get at any random place in Italy, quickly baked in a decent oven, best to take away and enjoy in your apartment, although you can also eat it at the restaurant.

15/09/2025: Very good pizza, we ate there, and despite it being very busy, the pizzas arrived quite quickly. They also do slices; I recommend it.

17/10/2025: I didn't order anything special, just a seafood carbonara. It wasn't bad, but not as good as I'd hoped. A 6.5 is fine.
