24/09/2025: Top location, beautiful and very well-kept. The food is delicious. Every dish is an experience. The meat is delicious, and I say this as a Florentine, but the real difference is made by the owner, who is friendly and always has a smile, which I swear never hurts. Well done, keep it up.

27/12/2025: Terrible service... The waiter made us wait ages to order, to receive our food, and even to pay... The waiter was very unfriendly, arrogant, and confrontational... The pizzas weren't anything special either. I've never eaten worse in a restaurant.

27/09/2025: What a wonderful surprise! The restaurant is a little out of the way from the village, so we didn't really know what to expect given the location and the (very reasonable) prices. But everything is homemade. The burgers (with very good gluten-free bread upon request) and the ravioli are excellent. The server was lovely and helped us with gluten-free options (available for pizzas too!)... Even the desserts are homemade; the panna cotta is to die for. Overall, the value for money is very good compared to the region, so don't hesitate!

28/12/2025: Delicious pizza, charming place, and very friendly owners. Suitable for large groups. I recommend the pizza chef's "a fantasia" pizza tour. All the flavors were delicious. The reviews I've read don't do it justice; this pizzeria is definitely worth a try.

08/10/2025: We have booked a table at this place basing on the Google reviews. Pizza and mussels menu looked very attracting. Unfortunately we were deeply disappointed with both service & dishes. Starting from uncomfortable chairs to extremely sluggish service and untasteful oversalted mussels. There are many much better places around.

23/02/2026: After two years, we returned to Zio Tore. What can I say? Time sometimes stands still. It's pointless to list the dishes. "Excellent and plentiful." The wait staff is attentive. The importance of spending an afternoon in peaceful company and good food. Thanks for your company.

24/10/2025: Very warm welcome from the hotel staff, comfortable, clean rooms and a generous breakfast. Right by the sea, there's nothing better for a successful stay in Cala Gonone! And as an added bonus, excellent ice cream at the Gelateria ;)

16/09/2025: We only ate at the restaurant. The restaurant was full of people, but they made an effort and got us a table relatively quickly. The food was very tasty, except for the dessert, which was quite below average compared to the main meal and appetizer. At the end they served us a free digestif. The rating for service would probably be higher if the restaurant wasn't really crowded.

07/12/2025: Birthday dinner with a group of 11 adults and one child. The pizza was truly excellent, with top-notch dough and cooking. It's a shame the service didn't live up to the quality of the food. Upon arrival, I waited a few minutes with the cake in hand, and considering we were celebrating a birthday, a simple greeting or a little attention would have made a difference. Throughout the evening, a waitress often seemed unresponsive to requests and less than cordial, causing some confusion. At the end of the dinner, another unpleasant situation arose: about ten minutes before midnight, we were told that anyone wanting to pay by card would have to do so quickly, otherwise it wouldn't be possible. This created a bit of pressure on the entire table. Furthermore, I had asked for the cake service to be deducted from the bill, but was told this wasn't possible. The final bill was the most complicated aspect: despite repeatedly asking for confirmation of the amounts, I was told that €44 was missing. I collected all the guests' receipts, explaining that two people had paid in cash, and only after the fourth check did they admit the mistake, though without apologizing. Not even when saying goodbye was there a gesture of courtesy, which would have been appreciated on a festive occasion. In summary: excellent pizza, a decent place, but the service and management of the dining room need revising, especially when hosting groups and special occasions. I give it 3 stars because the quality of the food is worthy, but the overall experience could have been significantly more refined.

22/10/2025: Atrocious! Zero friendliness! Scammed on the merchandise. Don't trust the bills. Prices don't include a cover charge, so expect a surcharge on the bill. The pasta is super tough (raw, not all-you-can-eat). And they're yelling all over the place. We seem to be bothering them when we ask for payment so we can leave as quickly as possible. Not to mention the dogs running around in our paths. Better to go elsewhere. I usually take pictures, but I was so disgusted that I didn't.
