09/12/2025: Five of us went to this restaurant for a family lunch and had a truly wonderful time. The experience was incredibly positive: quick and attentive service, and the waiter was extremely friendly and always available. We were also impressed by the food; everything was delicious and carefully prepared. The professionalism of the entire staff was evident. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

17/06/2026: A lovely outdoor beer garden with live music in the evenings, snacks, and a decent selection of draft and bottled beers. The fries, pizza, and mozzarella are delicious, along with excellent grilled vegetables.

12/06/2026: Third time we've gone for takeout. Wow!! The lady at the register and counter touches money and food indiscriminately. Burnt pizzas. THEY SELL PUCCIA with porchetta and low-quality cooked ham. High prices, zero hygiene.

16/05/2026: I've been going to Pizzeria la Livornese for 35 years now. For me, the pizza is unbeatable, especially the pan pizza, a spectacle; it's very rare to find it made this way in other pizzerias. The artisanal croquettes are also unsurpassed. Every time I go, it's always a pleasure to savor the aromas and flavors of a pizzeria with such a long tradition, yet constantly modernizing as a place. I miss, and I must say, that shelf with that beautiful sailing ship on display—it's nostalgic. If you go, the pan pizza is a must-try. Enjoy your meal 🥘🥘🍕🍕 The sailing ship is still there 😜😜😜

03/07/2026: A six-course appetizer, the only acceptable ones being the prosciutto, mozzarella, and rice balls. The rest of the food was half-raw, the broccoli rabe were just long, raw stalks, the fried cod dripped with oil, and the rice balls were nothing special. The fries were limp. The pizzas were made exclusively with Neapolitan dough (we only found out after ordering them). They arrived as real focaccias, with sub-par toppings, a chunky crust, and soggy, almost unworthy of pizza. To put it mildly...far from my taste...in fact, my pizza remained intact on the plate, while the other was almost half-eaten. And it's not that I don't like Neapolitan pizza! The place was a bit shabby, with paper tablecloths and napkins; makeshift covers on the chairs that moved and fell away at the slightest movement. We stormed out! Dinner had never been so embarrassing.

05/06/2026: Paying €22 for a Margherita, a Rossa with parmesan and prosciutto, and a portion of fries would be questionable enough, but receiving an order in these conditions is simply unacceptable. The pizza was a disaster: raw on the bottom and burned on the top, with a soft, rubbery dough that couldn't even be cut with a knife. The mozzarella was poor quality, and the overall flavor left much to be desired. To make matters worse, the pizzas arrived all battered, with the toppings piled up on one side due to evidently careless transportation. Prices are typical of a quality pizzeria, and the product and service are simply unacceptable. A terrible experience in every way. Never again.

22/04/2026: Both the classic pizza and the scrochiarella (one of the few pizzerias in Taranto offering this variation) are delicious. The location is strategic, being in the center but also close to the seafront, making it easy to reach on foot or by car. Definitely worth a try!

22/07/2026: Pizza takeout! It's a small, family-run place that makes fabulous pizza!!!!!! The pizza chef, as well as the owner, is a working machine, churning out his round masterpieces with speed and elegance...it's a pleasure to watch. The ingredients are carefully selected and always fresh...if they don't find the best, they don't compromise. From what I've seen, the service is fast, but I can't fully evaluate it until I have the pleasure of sitting down at this place.

29/12/2025: The owners work incredibly hard, moving incredibly fast, but the volume of orders was so high that from 9:15 PM, the time indicated for takeout, I got my pizzas after a 45-minute wait at 10:00 PM. The pizzas are delicious, so the wait is completely forgiven. It was probably because it was Saturday, but perhaps they need a second helping of hands on certain days.

21/10/2025: Exceptional pizza, the most digestible I've ever eaten, tasty with very fresh, quality ingredients, and the price is really fair compared to what's available in the city. Top notch in my opinion!!! Congratulations!

08/05/2026: My partner and I had dinner with a couple of friends. We had two portions of fries (chips and deep dish), a baked shank with potatoes, a portion of goulash, a 2012 Aguaraja pizza, a 2013 pizza, and a Margherita with prosciutto. For dessert, a caramel cheesecake and a tiramisu. Everything was excellent. The place was quiet, beautiful, and welcoming. Highly recommended!

04/01/2026: I bought some takeaway pizzas and also some chips. The chips were half raw, the pizzas were dry and salty. I paid a lot and was quite disappointed.
