22/11/2025: Simply fabulous pizza. Real pizza. Well cooked and well topped. It was our first time there and it was a pleasant surprise. Compliments to the pizza chef 👍👍👍

22/04/2026: Both the classic pizza and the scrochiarella (one of the few pizzerias in Taranto offering this variation) are delicious. The location is strategic, being in the center but also close to the seafront, making it easy to reach on foot or by car. Definitely worth a try!

17/05/2026: A small, very welcoming place. The staff is fantastic, and the pizzas are equally delicious, with plenty of options for pizzas with seasonal vegetables. The beer selection was great, we felt right at home, and the price was also amazing.

15/05/2026: A very cozy pizzeria with a large selection of very high-quality and delicious pizzas.

13/05/2026: On vacation in Mottola... we went for lunch and had a great time. Excellent food and great service, the waitress is very nice... well done!

03/05/2026: Everything was as good as always, dishes prepared with care and of excellent quality. The service was impeccable. I recommend adding at least a few sugary biscuits when serving coffee and liqueurs. Dessert is a must on a set menu that's increased to €40.

06/03/2026: The pizza is very good, not heavy and well-topped. They also make pizza by the slice or square pizza; we chose the classic round pizza. The staff is friendly and helpful.

20/04/2026: Needed twin beds . Front desk did rearrange the beds. Disappointed on the view looking over the metal roof tops and city with partial ocean view. Gave up on my request when confronted with reception from the front desk.

19/04/2026: I'll start with the "bad" parts. This is MY opinion. You have to order breakfast, choose what you want, and they serve it to you. I understand it's for food hygiene. I don't particularly like this system. You can't control the air conditioning yourself. For people who get hot easily, like me, it's awful (I stayed in the spring, and I opened the window at night, but the outside noise still came in). If it's like this in the summer, I wouldn't have come knowing. Be aware, there are stairs to enter; I didn't see any ramps. Perhaps they're located next to the parking lot. Everything else was IMPECCABLE: the reception staff spoke Spanish, the cleanliness, the amenities, the rooms, and the beautiful views. The decor, the floors, the artwork... the colors. Wonderful. The rooftop bar is lovely. We had a wonderful stay.

16/05/2026: I've been going to Pizzeria la Livornese for 35 years now. For me, the pizza is unbeatable, especially the pan pizza, a spectacle; it's very rare to find it made this way in other pizzerias. The artisanal croquettes are also unsurpassed. Every time I go, it's always a pleasure to savor the aromas and flavors of a pizzeria with such a long tradition, yet constantly modernizing as a place. I miss, and I must say, that shelf with that beautiful sailing ship on display—it's nostalgic. If you go, the pan pizza is a must-try. Enjoy your meal 🥘🥘🍕🍕 The sailing ship is still there 😜😜😜

But that's not all: the pizza and panzerotti are also truly exceptional, prepared with quality ingredients and all the experience of Taranto's traditional pizza makers. An added bonus is certainly the kindness and professionalism of Francesco and his entire staff, always welcoming and attentive to their customers. A truly jewel in the city's crown. Highly recommended!

28/04/2026: A very quaint trattoria in the heart of Manduria. Kudos to the friendly owner, who wasn't intimidated by our cheerful group and accommodated all our needs.

11/04/2026: Ordered at 7:30 PM, they tell me they'll deliver for the 2 pools, but they arrive at 9:30 PM. Don't hear from me. After so many times, this is the last one. Good job, Mr. Saracino.

09/05/2026: A very good place, fantastic gourmet pizza and delicious traditional Neapolitan fare. Impeccable service, panzerotti aren't the best, but they're much better (you can have them filled with your choice). Wide selection at the counter and elsewhere. The only flaw, and I'm very sorry about that, is that the chairs outside were slightly dirty, but I can't fault the service overall.
