25/02/2025: Nice, clean environment. Very polite and kind waiters. We took a 5-course starter for 25 euros and the quantity wasn't that much, very little stuff on the plate. The first two are 19 euros each, let's say it fits. Really great Sicilian cannolo tiramisu was too wet with liquor. All in all it went well but I repeat if there was more quantity of food on the plates based on the price I would have given 5 stars

23/02/2025: We went to this place for a family dinner. The history and now consolidated notoriety of the restaurant make it one of the main places of Taranto catering. The restaurant, not very large, is located in the central area of ​​Taranto near the Marta museum and the navigable canal. Once inside we were greeted kindly by the dining room staff who made us sit while waiting for the menus to arrive. We had the opportunity to taste some appetizers, a first course and two second courses... all managed on time by the dining room staff who were always ready to respond to any of our requests. The food and wine offer is 5 stars, a perfect combination of Taranto tradition and a clever addition of innovative ingredients. The result is a perfect dinner, excellent quality raw materials and dishes that lead customers to savor "the sea". Chef Agostino is an established professional who knows how to amaze and pamper his customers from starters to desserts with a (red) thread of undisputed mastery and competence. Given the location, size and demand, it is highly recommended (if not mandatory) to book. Ad maiora

Splendid structure, convenient parking just outside the city but, we like it that way, excellent food in the restaurant/pizzeria with wood-fired oven inside the structure, more comfortable than that 😋🤗

01/12/2024: We took some scrocchiarella daisies (higher price than the classic dough) and as you can see they are small, dry and with little seasoning (even the sauce) so much so that we didn't finish them because it was useless to eat dry pasta that scratched our palates It's been a long time since I ordered them, if it's a bad day it doesn't matter, it can happen to anyone, if it's the new standard things change... the arduous sentence for posterity!

Inedible mixed grilled meat, overcooked and very hard bombette, ditto for the sausage. We move outside to smoke and the scene we see is truly horrifying, the plates arrive with the leftovers and they recycle them for other customers. Made video

Anyway, it's fine, there was no discussion about it, also because it wasn't bad. But as a second course I ordered a cut which, to my regret, was terrible. The cooking, seasoning and flavor were right, but each bite was still a little composed only of nerves or unchewable parts. It's a shame because despite the mix-up with the starter the staff was kind and quick but the meat...

25/02/2025: Very bad experience, very spartan place, tables stuck together so you can't move, two and a half hours of waiting for a poorly seasoned and poor quality pizza, unqualified and a little intrusive staff and last but not least increased bill due to an "error"... failed across the board

The variety of menu choices satisfies every taste, from the most classic options to the most creative ones. The service was courteous, with the attendant being able to respond promptly to every request even though it was a Saturday. The location is welcoming and well looked after The quality/price ratio is advantageous. I recommend this pizzeria in a pleasant and formal environment.
