05/12/2025: I'll start by saying this isn't a pizzeria I frequent regularly. I'm very proud of the contemporary pizza, but the classic remains the best. Excellent, digestible pizza, cooked to perfection. A must-try in the Taranto province.

10/10/2025: One of the best pizzerias ever! The dough is light and easy to digest, with perfect leavening and the highest-quality ingredients. Every bite exudes flavor and authenticity, a sign of great attention to detail and tradition. The staff is friendly, fast, and always smiling, and the welcoming atmosphere makes dinner even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for both those who love the classic Margherita and those who want to try more unique flavors, and I recommend the Mario Rosé Tuna and Onion. Excellent value. Definitely worth a try! 🍕👏

05/01/2026: One of the city's oldest trattorias, with fair prices and a very charming setting at the foot of Doss Trento. Parking is available in the large former Italcementi parking lot nearby. The food is more or less typical and the prices are reasonable. We had a bit of a wait and pressed the waiters for our orders, but we were very happy with the service. Every request, such as heating up a child's lunch or a high chair, was met with ease! I recommend a visit if you're looking for a traditional Trento restaurant away from the crowds of the city center.

05/01/2026: This was my third visit to this restaurant. The food was delicious, but this was my most frustrating experience. I arrived ahead of a couple in line, but because they cut in, the waiter didn't notice and seated them first. I was upset because I'm not sure if my Italian wasn't fluent enough, which led to this. The restaurant building even had a flag supporting Palestine displayed, but I felt that basic respect and human rights were not being respected, which was quite disappointing. Undeniably, the food was excellent, but this time my dining experience was terrible. I waited a long time for the red wine and soup I ordered, but they never arrived. Perhaps I never want to come back.

02/10/2025: A great place for a quick, warm meal. The food is fresh, made on site, filling, and very good. I had the opportunity to try two kinds of pizza – both delicious. The service is friendly, attentive, and smiling, and you can communicate in Italian and English. Seating can be difficult later in the day due to the number of people who want to eat. I highly recommend this place.

15/09/2025: The location is very unique, nestled in a small park where there are other places to enjoy street food! The panzerotto is delicious! It's self-service, so you order, take it, and sit down.

21/08/2025: The hotel faces the beach, and it's wonderful to eat in the restaurant overlooking the beach: it's almost like being on the veranda. The breakfast offered a lovely selection, with the hotel's exposure to the sun, and it's beautiful, and you can admire the sunrise while eating in the restaurant room, almost like being on the veranda. The choice and variety at lunch and dinner are more than excellent, including classic dishes with good Italian and international cuisine, as well as generous portions. Given the proximity to the sea, it's quiet, and you can sleep with the windows open without having to use the air conditioning. The owners and staff are always available, friendly, and accommodating. The really good quality/price ratio; I highly recommend it.

21/09/2025: A place to feel good – highly recommended I spent a few days at La Giara Risto Relais and can highly recommend my stay. As a single woman traveling alone, it was especially important to me to feel safe and well looked after – and that was exactly the case here from the very first minute. The room was exceptionally clean, tastefully furnished, and meticulously maintained down to the last detail. I also really liked the quiet, somewhat secluded location. Parking was available right next to the rooms. What made the stay special was the warmth of the hosts. The Italian mentality – open, warm, and familiar – was palpable at all times. I felt welcome, safe, and completely at home in every way. If you're looking for clean, quiet accommodations with genuine Italian hospitality, this is the place for you. I would love to come back.

28/12/2025: It's unthinkable that on a Saturday night at 11:35 PM, after hours of walking to find a parking spot in downtown Taranto, you have to be chased away by people who don't want to serve you. I got the impression they were pissed off that they had to serve or set a table for four. Then, when we left, out of the corner of my eye, I noticed a certain "sigh" from one of the waiters. One star is even too much, in my opinion. And on a Saturday night. Come on. And then I didn't think you were closed at 10:30 PM because if it was closed, there should be a shutter.

02/01/2026: A truly lousy place. The platter was poor, with almost no products. The orecchiette were nothing special... The location was good, but the food was forgettable.

01/01/2026: Passing through after a visit to Alberobello, we chose this osteria a bit outside, and we were right. It's 100% family-run, and you'll feel right at home. The fried foods are delicious, the zucchini flowers are excellent, and the mule chops are superb, super soft and tasty. The dishes are few, but cooked to order. I recommend stopping by, especially if you like meat.

17/12/2025: We were in Crispiano, near Taranto, for a show at the beautiful Teatro Comunale, and I accompanied the members of the Il Giullare Theater Company. For lunch, we stopped at this family-run restaurant, "Tutto Buono," located about 500 meters from the theater, truly convenient. It was a great choice: excellent value and simple dishes prepared with quality ingredients. They also readily accommodated gluten-free options for a couple of guests, which is unusual and much appreciated. We started with a bruschetta as an entrée, followed by orecchiette with tomato sauce, chicken cutlet with fries, and, to finish, homemade desserts, amaro, and coffee. Just the kind of place we were looking for... and we found it. Special thanks to the owner and Ilaria, the girl at the tables, for their patience and great helpfulness (let's admit we may have been a bit of a nuisance... especially those two with sunglasses in the photo 😁). When we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back. Thanks, everything's delicious 🍽️👏

09/12/2025: I celebrated an anniversary with over 30 people. The waiters were impeccable, always available and very polite. The appetizers were traditional but very good, and the drinks and service were fine. The first courses and fried fish were good, the meat was so-so, and the sausage was exceptional. Overall, an average restaurant, excellent for those looking for tradition and more or less affordable prices. I didn't receive a quote before the party, and then I paid something extra that I didn't deserve (four people decided to order pizza instead of a first and second course, and I still paid for the full menu plus the cost of the pizzas... liqueurs and coffee were paid separately).
