23/08/2026: A very simple and welcoming place, family-run, almost like a step back in time. The owner served us with his daughter, very kindly. We had the pizzicotti, a kind of stuffed panzerotti, with one night even a spicy touch... light and very good. But the orecchiette with turnip greens were delicious, with a truly intense flavor! Very good. And finally, everything at a fair price! Too bad we were full and didn't try the wife's tiramisu, it must have been very good!

23/08/2026: We found this fake restaurant because we had gluten-free needs. When we booked, they assured us they could do many things. Obviously, this wasn't the case. The atmosphere was dark and anxiety-inducing. After the first courses, they completely ignored us, and the place only had one other table. We would have also ordered a second course, but we couldn't wait to disappear. I don't recommend it because it has nothing to do with a restaurant and it was clear that the owner wasn't prepared.

09/07/2026: In my opinion the place is nice, there is space between the tables, there is parking and the service is excellent and the cube is also good.

24/06/2026: A pizza show for those who like it soft. The owner is attentive to new customers, even though my parents have been getting takeout for years.

02/08/2026: Terrible experience. As soon as we arrived, we sat down at this cramped table. After about 15 minutes, the waiter came to take our order, but I pointed out that he hadn't brought the menus yet, so he came back and we ordered. The fries arrived immediately, and I took the opportunity to ask for the drinks, which, in fact, took a really long time to arrive. At the second reminder, the waiter, in a huff, said, "You'll have to wait." With a lot of patience, it was time for the pizzas. We had trouble understanding the flavors because when they were served at the table, they didn't call them by the names on the menu, but rather listed the ingredients on them. Since there were so many at the table, I asked for an explanation as to why there was such confusion about the pizza flavors, and they replied that the pizza chef didn't know the names on the menu, so when he handed them to the waiters, he gave them a short list of the ingredients, leaving them in a state of chaos. We ended the evening with the bill arriving, written in pen on a piece of paper without even the slightest detail of the items ordered. I've been to many places in Mottola, but this, for me, is the worst ever.

18/08/2026: The staff were kind and professional, but attentive to the food, especially the fish, which wasn't fresh but frozen at a seaside restaurant. My family and I had stomach upset... our last day of vacation was ruined... fortunately, we're fine.

12/12/2025: Friendly staff, cozy and clean room, comfortable bed. I had a bit of a wait in the restaurant even though there were only two other tables for dinner, but I ate well. Breakfast could have been better.

29/04/2026: A slice of Provence just a stone's throw from Taranto. A chic, quietly elegant venue with excellent food. The hostess's kindness welcomes and pampers you with traditional dishes—some with a modern twist—and an excellent selection of wines, recommended by her based on your tastes and the menu you've chosen. The pizza is also excellent.

05/04/2026: Le Vecchie Cantine is one of those places where you know you're getting good pizza, a comfortable atmosphere, and a relaxing evening. The pizza, as mentioned, is good, with a wide selection. Draft and bottled beer, appetizers, and various sides are also available. The space is good because the place is free of other tables or crowds. However, I have to say that the quality (i.e., taste, composition, quantity) doesn't match the price. It's a good alternative to other places. There were 15 of us at the table, including 3 children. Not a top-quality experience.

22/03/2026: The rudest and worst customer service I've ever received. The waitress preferred to chat with her friends rather than serve me. Then, later, a tuna pizza arrived. If there were 5 grams of tuna, that's an overly generous statement... It didn't taste like tuna at all; you could only see a few strings, and that was it! Afterward, she charged almost double the price of other pizzerias. The pizza was bland and tasteless. They're so proud of themselves because they're downtown and have probably been there a long time... A dark, dank, cramped place, packed with tables. I'll never set foot in that place again.

24/08/2026: Good quality food, a wide selection of vegetables, side dishes, meat, and pizzas. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended. We'll be back.

22/08/2026: Honestly, I wasn't entirely convinced. The private parking lot was quite spacious, but the service was pretty slow. There weren't even that many tables, but whatever. We waited at least 30 minutes to order. Luckily, the waitress brought us some appetizers. I didn't like the meat at all, not even the bombette. I don't mean to offend or criticize, but they're my least favorite of all the ones I've tried. The prices are cheap, no doubt about that, but the quality suffers quite a bit. And what's more, after paying, and I had asked for a liqueur before the bill, they charged me 3 euros on top. Oh well, I read some reviews about the owner's personality, so... honestly, I wouldn't go back. There are better options for the same price. In response to the gentleman, "Under 100 people, what? Were there 16 of us, roughly? But I'm exaggerating, 20. He must have gotten the wrong person, day, and time. I had already asked the lady about the amaro, but she gave me a nasty look for not having added it, and I had already paid. She was left holding the amaro and didn't know whether to give it to me or not. You can't buy a castle with those 3 euros. Okay, but reading other reviews below, I understand a lot.

18/08/2026: Very crowded rotisserie. The best-selling product is panzerotti (fried calzones). There's a major organizational problem: on summer evenings, you can have to wait 2-3 hours before trying one. After a 3-hour wait and over 100 customers before us, we weren't able to try them, so our experience is limited to the (few) rotisserie items already prepared and available at the counter. Baked calzones and pizza slices. The quality is average, and the prices are high for the quality of the products. A different approach should be found to handle the large influx of customers or, at least, to meet the high demand during the evening hours during the summer. There isn't a proper restaurant, but there are several outdoor tables in the square/park where the kitchen is located. Despite their best efforts, the staff work in a state of total organizational chaos, making the entire experience stressful for them and the customers.

18/08/2026: My experience wasn't as positive as others; I must have been unlucky. The panzerotti are beyond reproach; they're delicious. But I had to wait over an hour, despite only having 27 people in front of me. Behind the counter, there's a lot of confusion and disorganization. Basically, one guy, who I believe is the owner, does everything. The other staff were slow and awkward. I'd like to point out that the youngest guy who served us a calzone was surly, presumptuous, and rude, as well as slow and awkward.

03/05/2026: Excellent panzerotti, perhaps the best in Puglia. Every time I come here on vacation, I absolutely have to stop by Pizzeria Santa Caterina. Kudos also for the excellent fried food; it's just a shame I live so far away.

22/04/2026: Helpful staff. The pizza is adequate, not exceptional. The baked potatoes arrived almost inedible, because they were burned. The prices are reasonable.
