01/08/2024: The location is excellent on the road that leads from the center of Trento to the Gardesana area. In the ancient neighborhood of Piedicastello close to the Trento dossier almost in front of the characteristic church of Sant''Apollinare. Excellent quality food, we consumed typical Trentino dishes: goulash and venison stew with Storo polenta. To finish, home-made desserts, coffee and an excellent Grappa. Kindness and patience on the part of the dedicated staff. The interiors are curious, somewhere between artistic and bohemian The walls are painted with various styles as well as a "trompe l'oeil" floor where there appear to be steps but they are covered by glass plates. Good value for money.

17/08/2024: Ci si aspetta di mangiare roba fatta sul posto invece è quasi tutto surgelato di provenienza industriale, dalle patatine, alle polpette, ai panzerottini, alle mozzarelle in carrozza, per arrivare al formaggio che mettono sulla pizza spacciandola per mozzarella. Ho notato le scatolette di tonno da discount, insieme alle marche di altri alimenti come ketchup e maionese. I prezzi sono alti e la qualità della pizza, puccia e focacce è a dir poco pessima. I bagni sono sporchi sprovvisti di sapone, di carta igienica e di carta asciugamani, insomma pretendono di essere pagati con un livello gastronomico Michelin ma la qualità è a dir poco vergognosa. Spero che gli enti preposti facciano i dovuti controlli.

26/08/2024: To the sea but not to the sea. The place is wonderful, the hotel is surrounded by tall trees that provide a lot of shade and allow you to be outdoors without problems, covering the tables in the external part with their shadow. The swimming pool is well maintained and functional, the only flaw: it is mostly deep (180cm), not ideal for children, although there is a very shallow part where I can play safely. The rooms are very nice and clean, we were in the quadruple room and we were largely comfortable. The kitchen?? the MUST of the entire stay, spectacular lunches and dinners, accompanied by first-rate service, both for the professionalism and the friendliness shown! A place where I will gladly return!

12/08/2024: Located in the heart of the historic center of Taranto, the "Gatto rosso" restaurant is a true gem for fish lovers. The menu is a triumph of freshness and local flavours. I started with a mixed appetizer of raw and gratinated seafood. Each dish was prepared with the freshest ingredients and presented with care. As a first course, I chose cacio e pepe with red prawn tartare. Furthermore, it was my cousin's birthday and they prepared the cake for us, giving us an exceptional surprise and we ended on a high note. The staff was friendly and professional. Thanks to Agostino who was extremely kind, attentive and a wonderful person! a restaurant that I highly recommend to anyone visiting Taranto. An excellent choice to enjoy the best fresh fish in the region in an enchanting setting. I can't wait to go back!

14/07/2024: My recent visit to Al Gatto Rosso restaurant was unfortunately very disappointing. Despite the positive reviews I had read, the reality was very different. It should be noted that the location had been chosen for a business dinner, with people from the north, obviously with the aim of making us and the area look good First, the service was extremely slow and disorganized. We had to wait more than ten minutes just to be greeted and given a table, even though we had booked in advance. Once seated, the staff seemed disinterested and inattentive to our needs. The environment, which I hoped would be welcoming and warm, was instead cold and poorly cared for. The decoration was dated and lacked any atmosphere that would make the meal enjoyable. Furthermore, the restaurant was noisy, making any conversation difficult (despite there not being many patrons). Finally, the prices were definitely too high for the quality of the food and service offered. I was expecting a memorable dinner, but unfortunately the experience was anything but pleasant. In addition to everything, my first course was completely inedible, very salty and unfortunately given the absence of staff in the room I was only able to make my complaints when the second course was ready (the waiter asked if I wanted it remade but I politely replied that it was too late). At the bill, I pointed out the mishap again and the lady who drew up the bill didn't even bother to ask a higher-ranking person whether or not it was appropriate to make me pay it. Result: out of a €270 bill they didn't remove €25 of the first inedible item. In summary, the Al Gatto Rosso restaurant did not meet my expectations and I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a good dining experience. I hope they can improve in the future, but for now I won't be returning.

24/08/2024: Il panzerotto è buono ma non è stata una delle “sfornate” migliori in quanto il nostro era troppo cotto. Nonostante la bontà del panzerotto non vale l’ora e mezza di attesa. Tra l’altro anche il sistema non è tanto chiaro appena arrivi. Devi prendere il numero e poi sederti e aspettare, aspettare e aspettare. Quando arriva il tuo turno, ordini e ti viene consegnato il telecomandino che dopo qualche minuto subito suona per ritirare. C’è stato un asporto di 5 vassoi che ha rallentato molto l’andare avanti dei numeri.

27/08/2024: Traditional restaurant offering great variety and good quality. I recommend broad beans and friggitelli, the fried foods are good and the starters are also plentiful and good. Excellent value for money. The sparkling wine is also good!

20/01/2024: I ordered two pizzas delivered to my home: mine was a "pizza puccia"... I discovered a new type of happiness. In addition to the fantastic pizza (and puccia) with excellent dough and excellent ingredients, the service was also punctual; payment possible via satispay speeds things up, I will definitely order again!

20/04/2024: The dough may be pleasant for some but as far as I'm concerned it was hard and had little flavour. The wait was normal since it was Saturday, but it had been years since I left a half-finished pizza, so there's no point in going into an explanation, it went very badly.

18/05/2024: Si può nel 2024 non avere la mozzarella senza lattosio ?? Evidentemente si perché inconsapevoli del fatto che il posto non disponeva di pizze con la mozzarella senza lattosio dicendoci che avevano la mozzarella di bufala senza dare un alternativa adeguata. Location carina ma non valorizzata per come merita, le pizze erano pienissime di farina e non cotte al punto giusto. Sicuramente non ci ritornerò.
