30/09/2025: A hotel like the ones I remembered from my childhood. Truly Italian. Very hospitable, clean, a large corner room, and a very quiet location. For dinner, there was a menu with a choice for everyone. It was served in large bowls – as much as you wanted. Truly delicious. One night while passing through. But we would gladly come back.

Located a few kilometers from the sea in a quiet area.

06/01/2026: A homey place that immediately makes you feel at home. I counted 13 appetizers, but there were probably more. A wide variety of hot and cold options, fish, meat, and vegetables. All excellent quality! Among the highlights, a selection of mixed roasts, expertly cooked by the owner, stands out. Excellent pizza, too! The price is below the quality and quantity served!

22/03/2026: The rudest and worst customer service I've ever received. The waitress preferred to chat with her friends rather than serve me. Then, later, a tuna pizza arrived. If there were 5 grams of tuna, that's an overly generous statement... It didn't taste like tuna at all; you could only see a few strings, and that was it! Afterward, she charged almost double the price of other pizzerias. The pizza was bland and tasteless. They're so proud of themselves because they're downtown and have probably been there a long time... A dark, dank, cramped place, packed with tables. I'll never set foot in that place again.
19/11/2025: At this trattoria pizzeria, I tasted: the pizza was really, really good! Highly digestible, amazing flavor, perfect dough! And not only that, the Cardoncelli mushrooms with sautéed aromas and cheese fondue! Cooked in a wood-fired terracotta oven, excellent! They make dessert with a pizza base. Very original. I recommend it 👍👏

04/01/2026: I bought some takeaway pizzas and also some chips. The chips were half raw, the pizzas were dry and salty. I paid a lot and was quite disappointed.

05/04/2026: Le Vecchie Cantine is one of those places where you know you're getting good pizza, a comfortable atmosphere, and a relaxing evening. The pizza, as mentioned, is good, with a wide selection. Draft and bottled beer, appetizers, and various sides are also available. The space is good because the place is free of other tables or crowds. However, I have to say that the quality (i.e., taste, composition, quantity) doesn't match the price. It's a good alternative to other places. There were 15 of us at the table, including 3 children. Not a top-quality experience.
17/03/2026: I've eaten pizza at many restaurants in Taranto, but when we came here, we ordered it here and I really liked it. The dough was very tasty.

22/11/2025: We went to this restaurant with some friends and started dinner with a full appetizer, followed by pizzas. What can I say? Everything was simply excellent. Both the meat and seafood appetizers were rich, tasty, and beautifully presented. A pleasant discovery that we highly recommend.

29/06/2025: A welcoming, well-maintained place with surprising cuisine.
We chose a seafood menu, and I assure you, it was all delicious.
The appetizers are plentiful, rich, and well-thought out: a true journey from hot to marinated.
We fell in love with the incredibly tender grilled cuttlefish and the fresh, flavorful seafood salad offered as a main course.
The first courses? Generous and tasty: generous portions, balanced seasonings, and quality fish.
I will definitely be back.
