Let me start by saying that Squarciolla pizzeria and restaurant is a very welcoming place, enhanced by the friendliness, kindness, and professionalism of the owner and the highly qualified staff, who work tirelessly and never lose a smile. The food is carefully selected and impeccably prepared. The quality and price are reasonable. We'll definitely be back!

08/09/2025: Terrible experience. We confirmed that there was gluten-free pizza and lactose-free mozzarella. Once seated, we were told that since it was Sunday, the products hadn't been "unloaded." So, whatever, we ordered something else. The waiter, Antonio, was very helpful and apologized several times. To top it all off, a waitress-like figure arrives: arrogant, presumptuous, and so on. I would have gotten up, but the staff were incredibly patient with me. I wasn't at all satisfied with the food. Rubbery octopus and packaged mozzarella. Highly not recommended.

06/09/2025: While on vacation with my girlfriend in Rodi Garganico, we decided to stop at this pizzeria. As a true Campanian, I've always been skeptical of pizzas "outside the region" because, traveling around many parts of Italy, I've never found a pizza that came close to our region. Either very thinly sliced, or toasted. And yet I can say that last night I came home to this place. The pizza was well-leavened and light. I complimented the pizza chef (yes, we're talking about a girl) who I hope this pizzeria holds on to because for me it was like eating a pizza in Campania. Simply spectacular.

10/02/2026: The food is certainly good, but the prices are decidedly high. I ordered a glass of red wine, but they served me very little (less than a finger's worth) and it was of terrible quality, and I paid €6.00 ​​for it.

28/12/2025: Bad experience. We ordered a pizza by the slice to share between four of us. Each of us ate our own piece, and near the end, we realized that the pizza was completely burned underneath. We pointed this out to the waiter, who, instead of apologizing, responded in a rather annoyed tone: "Why didn't you tell us before!" An inappropriate comment, considering the issue was obvious and the customer shouldn't have to justify himself. Only later did the owner offer to bring us another pizza, but by then we had finished it. No real attention to the problem, and the service was not only rude, but also disorganized.

04/05/2026: We ate here tonight and it was truly delicious. From the moment we entered, we were welcomed very warmly and kindly by the host. We were then assisted by presumably his daughter, who advised us very well and honestly about the dishes. We started with a delicious starter featuring fresh vegetables and beautiful local produce. This was followed by a wonderful main course, accompanied by a nice glass of red wine. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and prepared with care. We also found the price-quality ratio to be very good. We received this restaurant as a tip ourselves, and we are happy to pass that tip on: highly recommended! We actually wanted to come back again tomorrow, but unfortunately, they will be closed then. On our next visit to Southern Italy / Puglia, we will certainly eat here again. Ciao Paulo
