21/01/2026: The portions are very big. Their kebab has so much meat and cheese and it tastes very good. I ordered through Glovo and the delivery was very fast. It arrived warm and the cheese was so soft. Definitely recommend for everyone!

16/02/2026: The pizza was good, the only thing I'm afraid is that they shouldn't grate Grana Padano on the bufalina, which has nothing to do with it (at most, use pecorino), or even better yet, nothing at all, especially since it's not written on the menu. The thing that really bothered me was that while waiting on the sidewalk outside the restaurant, you're constantly at risk of being hit. In fact, the delivery man who drives back and forth doesn't know how to drive and almost hit us both while driving up onto the sidewalk and while reversing (so twice). He should realize that the sidewalk isn't "his" just because he's making deliveries, and anyway, you don't drive up onto the sidewalk, and even if you did, you wouldn't hit the people on it, who are customers of the restaurant. He created a dangerous situation, and I think they should scold him and teach him how to drive. And that makes me sad because the pizza was very good, the prices were fair, and I highly recommend this place, but you have to supervise your employees.

05/01/2026: Decent pizzas, but the home delivery service hasn't been punctual lately and the pizzas unfortunately arrived cold on 2 occasions.

10/08/2025: We ordered very late in the evening and the food did not disappoint, 10/10. The fries arrived perfectly and the kebab is one of the best I've ever had. I appreciate the fact that it didn't have fries inside.

12/02/2026: We had to see for ourselves. Perhaps the old saying is true. Perhaps you can't go home again. We are definitely sad 😭. ----- Maybe 12-15 years ago this was one of our usual haunts. About 5 years ago this changed because of changes to work locations. Over the past two months five of us have made various visits due to a new location. We were unfortunately disappointed. 🥹 BAKED GOODS: Obviously all are more expensive. Range is good. About half are a bit smaller than before and/or pricing method had changed. What we really found surprising was that the quantity or complexity of flavor for some products was significantly reduced. Perhaps this is why there are no recent award stickers on the door? 🤔 CHANTILLY CREAM: For one of us, as good as in the past. The rest of us still have to check. 😃 APPLE CAKE: Very good cake but very little apple. Better to call it a crumb cake. ... or perhaps it WAS a crumb cake and some apple accidentally fell in. 🤫 CANAPÉS: Unfortunately the 'salatini' were not the tender flavorful bites we remembered. 😭 They resembled some dry unidentifiable objects you would find in a styrene bag ... In a vending machine ... In an airport ... At the edges of civilization ... Sorry! COFFEE: Normal/chain standard. JUICE: Standard bottled juice. SPRITZ: OK. Not great but acceptable. ACCOMPANIMENTS: Neither pretzels nor peanuts were available/offered for an apéritif in the evening. TEA: Old stale supermarket bags with an extremely limited and eccentric range of choices. Obviously leftovers from a one-time purchase. Of note because on many social media sites this location has chosen to call itself a 'Tea Room' in its listing. This is also a fairly normal evening drink with pastry in the city. SERVICE: Our theory overall is that there is a disconnect between the morning staff and the evening staff however our schedules have not yet permitted checking. Our comments are regarding evening staff. One young man we have met is appropriate and professional ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Others that we have met are presumptuous and aggressive or passive aggressive. We don't consider it correct in a service industry to acerbically tell a customer, 'That's all we have. There's nothing else. If you don't like it, don't get it.' and especially, without OFFERING AN ALTERNATIVE. It's lost revenue. We also don't recommend using what appeared to be the end of a Hollywood style beer slide to deliver very hot drinks. Above all, paying should not be a negative experience for obvious reasons. However in each visit it has been negative. In one case, one of our prospective customers was presumptuously charged for both our manager and our sales person who were both standing next to the register, card in hand. Embarrassing for us!!! During another visit two unrelated groups who had happened to start talking to each other were input into the register together ... they didn't want to make a scene either. Luckily everyone had cash so they sorted it out outside. There are other examples but it seems that the person behind the register in this shop has no need to listen to the customer in front of them. LATE NOTE: One of us went with a new person this past evening. It's not clear what the interchange was that prompted the comment but this Italian only speaker used an Italian word, the English translation of which rhymes with 'witch', to refer to the service staff present that evening. We only mention this to underscore the fact that an experience of the sweetest product can be ruined by bitter service ... and sour people on the idea of returning. Essentially service is why there are only 2 stars rather than 3 or 4.

10/02/2026: On Saturday, February 7th, I called to order two gluten-free croissants to add to the other sweets I was supposed to bring to the office for my birthday. I asked for pickup between 7:00 and 7:15 on Monday, February 9th, and I told them I'd be in a hurry because I was headed out of town for work that day. I showed up promptly, and the two ladies at the counter informed me that the gluten-free croissants wouldn't be available before 8:00 and that there hadn't been any orders. Somewhat surprised, I politely pointed out the note on the diary on the counter right under my eyes. However, seeing the cookies and tarts in the display case, I asked if they were gluten-free. (Note that I wasn't offered a solution; I had to ask.) Having ascertained that they were gluten-free, I opted for a jam tart so as not to leave the only two coworkers with celiac disease without breakfast. Obviously, the price was significantly higher than the croissants we ordered, and despite the lady at the counter's "sorry," they didn't offer any discount given the terrible service. In short: you can make a good product, but if that's the kind of service you get, forget it.

15/02/2026: A generous aperitif at a reasonable price. The basic aperitif cocktails are good, but the wine selection is less. The restaurant could focus on greater customization, and it would be great to try adding some alternatives to the starchy fare on the platter. #LilloWieW

21/02/2026: Average food and friendly staff. Extremely uncomfortable chairs. Not all have cushions and are very hard. The toilet has a squat...not ideal for me, and I didn't see a disabled bathroom.

22/02/2026: Okay, pizza, okay, service... but the food is absolutely awful! The pasta is overcooked and tasteless.

11/02/2026: We always have carry out pizzas - delicious. The staff are friendly. Be aware that depending on how busy they are it might take some time. Ne vale la Pena.

31/01/2026: Truly excellent pizzeria. The olive focaccia is exceptional, soft and flavorful. The lady at the cash register is incredibly kind and always available, and all the staff are courteous and always smiling: they make you feel truly welcomed. The takeout pizza arrives still hot and soft, a sign of quality ingredients and great attention to service. For us, it's a real guarantee: when we want to be sure, we always know where to order.

23/12/2025: We discovered "La Pizzeria il Grifo" by chance... and for me, who am super selective when it comes to food, I have to say it passed the test with flying colors!!! The atmosphere is very welcoming and intimate. The owners are kind and helpful, and the waiter, Giuseppe, is also very helpful and polite, never intrusive. As for the cuisine, the chef is excellent... excellent and plentiful dishes... What more can I say? We'll definitely be back, highly recommended. 16/10/2025: The food isn't bad, and the prices are good. However, the dishes are too salty...let the customers decide whether to have salty or not. Order plain rice...salty. Order side vegetables...salty. Second courses...salty...

16/08/2025: I arrived at 2:15 PM and there were no hot dishes left. They took the hot dishes away at least 15 minutes before the kitchen closed (2:30 PM). So I was left hungry and disappointed. Poor service.

09/03/2026: Terrible experience. We kindly requested a stuffed calzone without tomato because I'm lactose intolerant. My boyfriend specified my intolerance when he placed the order. When we got home, I cut into the calzone and saw the tomato. We called and specified that there shouldn't be any tomato. The girl who answered said she was sorry and would make it again right away. We went to pick up the calzone, and they apologized, saying they realized I was lactose intolerant. At that point, I reiterated that I couldn't eat tomato. As soon as we got the calzone, we went out and opened it, and there was tomato again, but no mozzarella. Almost on purpose.
