13/06/2026: A lovely place with both covered and uncovered outdoor seating. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. The pizza was average, but the tagliolini with shrimp and asparagus was something special! I don't have photos because they were so good I devoured them! The price was in line with expectations. Recommended!

11/05/2026: I LOVE Max Pomodoro. The food is absolutely delicious, there's a huge variety of dishes, and the service is impeccable. The owner is truly lovely! I highly recommend trying the following dishes: agnolotti al vecchio Piemonte, grilled potatoes, porcini risotto, and, above all, the fried calamari and shrimp!

11/06/2026: Sausage and fries €10... inedible. The sausage was very thin, but mostly the fries were stale! It's unbelievable how they could sell a pizza like that.

19/05/2026: Pizzeria LA SMORFIA has become my annual stop at the Venaria Reale Rose Festival. The gluten-free pizza is delicious and always impeccable, and the service is incredibly fast.

The waiters are all kind and professional with a smile on their face. The tutor is very kind, thank you. I recommend it to everyone and will be back soon.

10/06/2026: Our experience differs greatly from some recent comments. My mom and I discovered this place by chance, during a day trip on June 4th. They kindly informed us over the phone that they don't serve pizzas for lunch, but a fixed-price menu, about €12 per person. There was a wide selection of first and second courses/side dishes, all simple, of course, but homemade and authentic. I haven't seen bread this good in a long time. We even struggled to finish the second course because the portions were so generous. And we're not easily satisfied. Since it would have been impossible to get up immediately to continue our trip in this state, we enjoyed an extra half hour outside sipping coffees. So I queued up at the cashier, prepared to receive the usual final price: a €12 menu, but then the cover charge, water, and coffee were very expensive, etc. And here's the surprise: €26.60 in total for two first courses, two second courses with sides, two place settings, a bottle of sparkling water, a basket full of bread and breadsticks, and two coffees. I asked to double-check, to make sure they hadn't made a mistake. But no, the waitress confirmed the above price. Two menus for €12 each and €2 for the coffees. Incredible value! Now I'm back in Germany and I can't help but recommend this restaurant to friends and colleagues. Best regards

06/06/2026: Attracted by the pizzeria, we go in, but pizza (rightly so) is only served in the evening. A sign warning of this would have been nice. Cute place, good food, but ridiculous portions, not even Cracco's. For five people, five first courses, two tiramisus, and a water: €100. Never again for lunch, maybe with pizzas it's better.

The welcome was outstanding, the staff were always smiling, and the food made us want to come back (which we did). The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming. 08/10/2025: If you're looking for a family-friendly restaurant serving Abruzzo specialties and other typical Italian dishes, you've come to the right place! I go there very often and used to eat pizza once a week when I was a student in Turin. The best pizzas I've ever eaten in Turin! Maurizio, Gaia, and their dad, Felice, do a fantastic job; I highly recommend it!

08/04/2026: We ordered a takeout pizza, and I have to say it was truly excellent, but I was amazed by the farinata! The staff was very kind and helpful. The place is small, but with attention to every detail. Super satisfied!

04/02/2026: Terrible. We ordered two boxes from Good to Go with some colleagues the night before, to be picked up the next day for lunch. We got there and were told the boxes weren't there because there were no leftovers. They canceled our order on the spot, so not only did they have an entire evening and morning to cancel it, but they also made us go pick it up for nothing. A sensible owner would have tried to make up for it somehow, but instead, nothing, as if this was normal for them. They didn't even have food to buy, not even saying come by later and we'll have the preparations and give you something... Don't go there! This experience says it all! Obviously, I couldn't say anything about the food; we didn't eat...

04/04/2026: We looked for a pizzeria in Castellamonte and this one came up. We had pizza, which was good, but I thought it had too much mozzarella (but that's a matter of personal preference). The place is crowded, but spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and service was quick.

03/05/2026: I'd give the service 6 stars if I could ♥️ Two waitresses in particular were very attentive to my pregnancy, especially when choosing desserts. They exceeded all expectations by offering me a practically personalized dessert—truly admirable! The pizza was excellent and easy to digest (buffalo mozzarella with charcoal) despite my digestive issues. It's worth noting that they seated us right away even without a reservation, despite the crowded dining room. The pasta dish was a little late compared to those who ordered pizza, but that's understandable. It was a truly enjoyable family evening 🥰 I'll be back with friends.

25/04/2026: Terrible experience: embarrassing farinata and nonexistent service We left La Livella with a bitter taste in our mouths, and not because of the food, but because of customer service that to call "scandalous" is an understatement. The food: The low point of the evening was undoubtedly the farinata. Calling it such is an insult to tradition: we were served something soggy, clearly reheated and not made fresh. An embarrassing product that shouldn't even be on the menu. The only negative rating was the pizza: absolutely normal, neither praise nor infamy, at least edible. The service (or rather, the lack thereof): This is where we enter the surreal. The service was completely nonexistent. • The staff was completely inattentive to the needs of the table. • No interest during the meal: no one ever approached to ask if we needed anything. • The highlight: after clearing the plates, we were left to be forgotten. After a 30-minute wait, no one came to offer coffee or dessert. After 40 minutes of total indifference, we decided to get up and leave. The bill: Even the payment was cold. In any minimally professional restaurant, the cashier asks if everything went well. Here, nothing. Conclusion: A truly negative experience. If you're looking for a place where you feel welcomed or eat a truly authentic farinata, stay away. Highly discouraged.
