06/07/2025: Overall TERRIBLE experience. Rude staff and poor pizzas. My group of friends and I (10 people in total) ordered take-out pizzas. When we picked it up, the pizza chef scolded us, saying: "if you have to order so many pizzas, you should do it at another time, that's how you packed up my place!" Concluding with "next time, go somewhere else". Unfortunately, we didn't have the promptness and rudeness to respond, but it would have been enough to tell us when we booked; we would have GLADLY chosen another place. The pizzas, moreover, were cold, very small and rubbery (photos attached). Needless to say, we will not return and will advise against it whenever possible.

03/07/2025: It had been a while since we were there and this time we all took dishes from the kitchen/grill (no pizza). They made us sit in an outside area that I had never seen, near the grill: very nice. Distracted service, slow in taking the order and initially surly (you take my order after half an hour of sitting down and then you rush me in an impatient way...?!? Not good). At the end some forced jokes and irony from the restaurateur. Apart from this, at the table we all ate in a disorderly manner; those who took the first course and then the second, finished at least 10 minutes before the others received their only dish from the grill... not to mention that the side dish arrived at the beginning, 30-40 minutes before the main course. Spaghetti with clams and fried calamari abundant but mediocre (little taste of the sea, but a lot of garlic). The grilled fish and meat were good too. I can't comment on the bill because it was offered by friends, I hope he had a discount even if I don't think so. Will I go back...? Not for now.

02/06/2025: We organized an evening at La Pesa the day before our wedding. Everything was taken care of, we didn't need to arrange anything, just give a call. The pizzas are absolutely delicious, the local wines tasteful and the terrasse nicely arranged for our walking diner. We had a great time. The service was friendly, I highly recommend this place! Thank you the to La Pesa team

07/07/2025: We spent 10 days at Lake Maggiore and ate only at this restaurant. It wasn't worth going anywhere else because every dish was a burst of flavor and the staff were the epitome of friendliness. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime. On our last evening, we were incredibly sad to leave. Thank you for the great food and the friendliness, please stay as authentic as you are.

07/07/2025: We went to this restaurant because of the good reviews. There are no prices on the menu. The appetizers were more than expensive, considering the quantity, at €13 each. The pizzas were burnt, the pasta was hard (my husband is Italian – we know al dente), and the risotto wasn't creamy at all, but more like regular rice. Criticism wasn't accepted, but rather dismissed with "that's how it should be." The pizza with buffalo mozzarella was actually a Margherita. The price/performance ratio wasn't right for us. We don't understand the overly positive review. The tiramisu was good. And now, as with all critical reviews, I'm waiting for the counterattack 😛

21/06/2025: Our friend is a regular lunch client and chose to meet us there. Friendly owner and service. They had a simple lunch menu (11-14€) that included a drink and coffee. It looked like octopus was regularly proposed as an option for the day. Bright dining hall and heard they had good pizzas too.

12/06/2025: It was born as a takeaway pizzeria but there are also some tables inside where you can eat. The environment is simple and spartan but clean. The staff is very kind and the service is very fast. The pizza is excellent, the ingredients are of excellent quality and the topping is abundant. Price in line and consistent with the product offered. Recommended :)

16/06/2025: I highly recommend it! Italian atmosphere! Delicious food at a very good price and very tasty white wine from the tap! We ate pizza and seafood. The magic of Italy! On the weekend the waiting time is a bit longer but it's worth the wait! I recommend it! :)

01/07/2025: Our experience was not positive because my husband took a seasonal pizza with porcini mushrooms, Bra sausage and truffle paying 18 euros and the truffle didn't taste of anything; when it was time to pay I was asked if everything was okay so I said no explaining the problem ... the answer was that in this season it is like this ... and therefore they included it among the seasonal pizzas making you overpay even though you know it!!! I would have appreciated an appropriate discount for the truffle "not received". The tables were not very far from each other and it was too hot despite the air conditioning ... I think these last inconveniences were due to the white night: they tried to accommodate more people and I can understand this. Compliments instead to the boy who served us for his kindness and preparation.

24/05/2025: Locale da premiare anche solo perché sempre aperto, oltre ad ottime pizze cotte in forno a legna, offre anche piatti tipici e con prodotti stagionali, i primi sono golosi ed abbondanti. la mise en place è soddisfacente come pure la carta dei vini. Il personale è gentile e professionale coi tempi di attesa molto rapidi ed il conto non ha riservato sorprese, ma ci è sembrato giusto. Unica pecca sono in po' rumorosi i tavoli a bordo strada, ma comunque un posto da consigliare.

20/07/2025: On our first evening in Verbania, I think we accidentally found the best restaurant in town! We'll eat there again one or two more times. Everything was to our complete satisfaction.
