21/09/2025: We stumbled upon Lido di Sala after wondering around Sala Comacina where we were staying. It's incredibly charming, with covered tables overlooking a scenic cove of water. Luca, our server, was wonderful and personable, and the food was delicious. Nothing fancy, just a well-prepared and very tasty meal. The ossobucco was fabulous, and the vanilla banana liqueur dessert was amazing. Thank you to Luca and staff for a wonderful Sunday dinner!

08/03/2026: We ate the tagliata and have a terrible stomachache. I asked for the salad without vinegar, but they put it in anyway, and I couldn't eat it.

08/03/2026: The worst experience ever in a restaurant if you can call it this way. Rude, dirty and unprofessional lady. I assume she is the owner, otherwise I don't understand why someone paying such person to ruin their business. I was accompanied by my gf otherwise I would tell her few nice words which she deserves in full. I couldn't belive she threw such words just because I asked my pizza to be cut as they have special knives for this.

22/02/2026: The pizza isn't bad, unlike the rest. The location is very basic, but hearing the pizza chef swear for making an unscheduled Margherita is the worst. The staff lacks finesse.

21/02/2026: Pre-made pizza base and canned mushrooms on the pizza pretty much say it all. The price/performance ratio is a complete disappointment. I wouldn't go there again.

04/03/2026: A bad experience. For a plate of tagliatelle with meat sauce (a small portion), a simple lemon veal cutlet with a side of baked vegetables, a quarter of a liter of wine, and a bottle of water, I paid €30. Even though the prices are listed, I find the total to be excessive, as the quality of the food was absolutely not up to par for the price. Service was sketchy, with unfriendly staff. The restaurant was simply furnished, but nothing special. First and last time, I definitely won't be returning.

08/02/2026: I'm reviewing only the restaurant as I've only been there. Old truck drivers restaurant, really well made traditional dishes as you would expect from a place like this. There are a lot of seats inside the restaurant, but still the quality of the food is high, the waiter are so kind and fast. I ate "passatelli in brodo" which were really sapid and filled with cheesy flavor (exactly as you want), and "filetto di mora with porcini" meat was amazing as well as the mushrooms, really well cooked. The price is really low for the quality of the food, is heartwarming to see a place that held it's original idea of a low-cost but well done truck drivers restaurant. Congratulations to all the staff!

30/10/2025: Strongly not recommended. Food was bad. Charged extra fee “coperto” which is usual in Italy, but not for the service they provide.

08/02/2026: Unfortunately, it was a bad experience. We ordered a half portion of penne with tomato sauce for our son. Four penne arrived, and when we paid, we were charged €14 for a measly plate of pasta. I asked for an explanation, saying that the pasta was a half portion. But the lady at the cashier didn't care in the slightest. Her explanation was...it says a full portion here! Without even asking the waiter if there had been a mistake.

24/12/2025: Unfortunately, my experience at Trattoria Laghee was deeply disappointing. I ordered ossobuco, which, unfortunately, did not even begin to live up to the standards of this traditional dish. The meat was extremely tough, practically inedible, and far from the consistency and quality of a true ossobuco. I only tasted a small piece and decided not to eat it, as it was clearly undercooked. The situation worsened further when it came to the bill. Despite calmly explaining that I hadn't eaten the dish due to its poor quality, I was still asked to pay for the entire ossobuco. During the discussion, the owner even suggested we take the dish home to "finish the cooking," as if it were normal for a customer to finish preparing a dish at home that should be served properly cooked in the restaurant. I found this attitude extremely unprofessional and rude, especially considering that the problem wasn't a matter of personal taste, but a clear flaw in the preparation of the dish. Instead of seeking an appropriate solution, they preferred to argue and place the blame on the customer. It's truly a shame, because I expected a completely different experience. I believe that the quality of the dishes and respect for the customer are fundamental, and unfortunately, both were lacking on this occasion. —————————————————— Unfortunately, my experience at Trattoria Laghee was deeply disappointing. 26/12/2025: Christmas lunch 2025, not a bad selection, but the quantity was extremely low, even for items that were really cheap to make. The atmosphere was truly unwelcoming and cold, not at all Christmassy. I wouldn't recommend avoiding it. For the price paid, the quantity was truly low. Since it's Christmas, I'd suggest serving panettone for dessert, not a tiny glass of strawberries with mascarpone cream. I counted exactly three numbered strawberries, no more, and the potatoes on the side were literally three.

07/12/2025: We've been going with friends to eat the huge pizza at Le Vigne in Cantù for a long time now... what can I say? The pizza is always delicious and, above all, served in a unique way, the length of two plates, served on two plates, with generous toppings and the owner and waiters are all very kind.... Highly recommended!

24/02/2026: This restaurant is a real find when you're looking for a place to eat in Bellagio. It doesn't look too expensive on paper, but when you see the "cuisine" and the food on the plate, you realize it would have been better to spend a few extra euros for quality. The dishes are reheated pre-packaged meals. I ordered a tasteless carbonara with bits of meat that weren't really comparable to guanciale or pancetta. Luckily, they served us Parmesan cheese to try and salvage the flavor. However, the waitresses were undeniably friendly. But for a plate of reheated pasta, €13 plus a €2 cover charge is expensive.
