12/06/2026: Renovated in a modern style, but high prices and lacking the Valsassina soul La Bussola da 8 in Ballabio is now under new management. Upon entering, you immediately notice that the restaurant has been recently renovated, but in my opinion, it has lost some of its original soul: being in Ballabio, in the heart of Valsassina, the industrial-style decor is perhaps a bit cold and out of place. Furthermore, the tables are set quite close together. Here are the details of our Sunday evening: * **The menu and prices:** We looked at the food, but the prices for the first and second courses seemed decidedly high. We therefore settled on the **pizzas**: quality was average, a good pizza, neither good nor bad. * **The service:** Very fast and efficient, also thanks to the fact that the restaurant was only 50% full for a Sunday. * **Plus:** The welcome is especially noteworthy, as the place is dog-friendly. Furthermore, in the warmer months, you can eat on the outdoor terrace, which is definitely a great added value. Overall, a renovated and clean place, but perhaps it could rediscover a touch of the local warmth and revise its restaurant prices.

22/02/2026: Very comfortable and convenient hotel, the food is very good, both kitchen and pizzeria.

15/02/2026: We stayed at the Coira Hotel for just one night. It's a very convenient base for the nearby Avaro ski slopes. Our room was comfortable and clean, with two beds on the ground floor and two beds on the mezzanine. The bathroom was quite large and clean, equipped with a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. Breakfast is generous and tasty, with fresh croissants, sliced ​​bread, jams, yogurt, fruit, and all kinds of hot drinks, including juices. A savory breakfast with cold cuts and cheeses is also available. The owner is very kind, always available, and always smiling. Definitely recommended!

21/02/2026: This place left us pleasantly surprised today. We stopped in because we were walking home, not expecting to find anything delicious. It's a small, simple place with just a few tables. The cappuccino was very good and well-made, but what surprised us was the savory and sweet options. Everything was truly delicious, from the stuffed fritters, which honestly lead to another, to the smooth, very soft focaccia. And to top it all off, given how satisfied we were, we ordered a bag of more fritters and a Margherita pizza, which was delicious! The lady at the counter was very kind and friendly, with a pleasant smile that puts you at ease. Overall, we were more than satisfied and would definitely recommend it. Keep up the good work, with the quality you offer at the right price.

26/04/2026: Pizza 6/10, I paid €9 instead of €7 for a 1/4 Margherita. Reading other reviews here, I can see that it wasn't an involuntary mistake, but rather a repeat offender. The pizza was a bit too heavy and had too much oil. Unfortunately, I'm a lost customer.

21/02/2026: We had dinner here in December, but it's a really strange place. A foot-operated pump to flush the toilet (are we in the Flintstones?), the pizza was tasteless, and the toppings were really sparse (and not cheap, after all). My friend had to sit on a sort of vintage wooden stool, but without a backrest. I wouldn't recommend this pizzeria; there are definitely better places in Milan.

13/05/2026: At one point, the restaurant filled with smoke due to ventilation problems, and we were forced to spend a long time outside using the exhaust hood. The manager then turned on the air conditioning to try to resolve the situation, making the restaurant very cold. The food was okay, but the meat was a bit overcooked because the desired doneness wasn't specified when ordering.

10/05/2026: Intrigued by the comments from colleagues who have always praised the pizza at this place, I went to try it with a Neapolitan friend and we specifically chose a classic Margherita with a glass of wine... the place is very nice, Celtic style just as the name suggests, but I don't want to hear anymore that the pizza is good there because I certainly won't be returning to eat it... totally comparable to a frozen pizza, neither good nor bad, and the glass of wine we were served definitely came from a bottle that had been opened for a long time...

15/06/2026: Every time, it's a delight: spectacular fish, exquisite porcini mushrooms, and an excellent wine list. The menu changes frequently, and no matter what you choose, everything is always top-notch. Rosalia and Aldo are incredibly kind and attentive!

08/05/2026: Takeaway pizza delivered to my home in a 5 minute walk. I opened the box and it was already cut, as if someone was about to eat it.... It was immediately brought back.... I'm not asking for much, but at least an apology... it seemed the least I could do.

14/01/2026: A magical place in all seasons, snowy, sunny, or on cool summer evenings. The pizza is always excellent, but you're also welcome to pop in for breakfast, a platter of cold cuts, or a hot chocolate in the afternoon. Clean and welcoming.

12/01/2026: The food was really tasty, atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the staff was friendly. It’s a really beautiful drive to the restaurant and the views over there are really breathtaking.

10/06/2026: First time I come. The pizza is delicious, everyone is very kind. I didn't like the way one of the staff served me almost as if he was annoyed in doing so, telling me that for 2 marinaras there was water included, and at the end, taking 1 marinara and a margherita, he told me that since the marinara doesn't have mozzarella I couldn't have the free water, what techniques (if I had known, I would have taken 2 margheritas).
