23/07/2025: Con un cliente sono andato al ristorante. Accoglienza gentile. Servizio al tavolo preciso e cortese. Ci è stato portato una fetunta col pomodoro (buona). Ho preso acciughe burro e pane e carpaccio di di branzino alla piastra con della verdura grigliata (tutto buono). Caffè e acqua. Non conosco il costo perché mi è stato offerto, ma dal menù non meno di €50 a testa. Consigliato

07/09/2025: I ordered 4 pizzas and had to wait 20 minutes. People who came after me were eating and I was waiting. Unfortunately, the waiter was to blame. I had to wait 20 minutes, then they left. Congratulations 👏👏

25/06/2025: Almost €30 per person to eat a forgettable cold dish! The prices of the dishes are declared as average on a blackboard, then unfortunately they go a long way towards the side expenses (water, coffee covers) inflating the bill a lot!!! Furthermore, on the receipt they don't even put all the items but a generic total and they even got annoyed when I looked at the receipt at the payment, without saying a word... immediately the waiter started with "madam, there is only the total and not the items, but what's the difference? It's always the same" STRAW TAIL MAYBE??? I live here on the corner but I won't be back, too bad

20/06/2025: Super unfriendly staff. I went to eat, ask to use toilet. No said the waiter. Bad restaurant.

11/05/2025: The food was absolutely not up to par. Attentive service in a nice but sadly empty place. Only one other table besides us.

30/03/2025: We went to this restaurant on a Saturday evening... nothing to say about the karaoke, but as far as the service and the drinks are concerned, I wouldn't set foot there again. You order two types of red wine and you get two equally different, undrinkable ones! When you point this out to the waiter he responds with a nice: "these are here!" Another note on the waiter.. totally rude and incompetent..! He scored several wrong pizzas and it was never his fault, answering rudely and making annoyed gestures when you asked for something. Never again…

14/06/2025: Historic place in the center of Valmadrera, I used to come here as a kid for pizza parties with the soccer team. The management has changed but I am very pleased to see that the wood-fired oven has been maintained. We stopped for a quick lunch. Excellent service, friendly and not intrusive from the welcome to the end. Varied choice of appetizers, first and second courses of land, sea, a small vegetarian section and pizzas. I do not recommend it to those who are used to sophisticated and chic things. Simple place, family-run, with tasty dishes. I will return to try the pizza.

29/05/2025: Ho pranzato in questo ristorante e devo dire che la qualità del cibo era molto buona e molto bene è andato pure il servizio, il titolare una persona molto alla mano e simpatico, non è scontato trovarne così, peraltro il locale molto bello internamente, con una bella mise en place ed una vista stupenda, ci tornerò.

20/04/2025: Una stella per la posizione e per la vista ma per quanto riguarda il cibo lasciamo perdere. Il locale era pieno di stranieri probabilmente ospiti dell'albergo. Abbiamo ordinato due primi : Pizzoccheri per me e tagliatelle con i funghi per mia moglie. Orribili, entrambi forse riscaldati per la quinta/sesta volta. Capisco il pizzocchero ma la tagliatella che ha una cottura di 5 minuti non la posso accettare. Forse quello che più conta per loro è accontentare gruppi stranieri e fare soldi mentre fare bene da mangiare non è la priorità del titolare. Avrei voluto far venire al tavolo lo chef e fargli assaggiare i piatti ma mia moglie ha preferito lasciar perdere. Anche i prezzi sarebbero da discutere. Mai più. Italiani state alla larga !!!!

17/08/2025: A mid-August lunch to forget, unfortunately. We didn't eat well and spent an unreasonable amount, absolutely unjustified. We knew this from the prices on the menu, but we weren't expecting such a culinary disaster. But that wasn't actually the real problem. The atmosphere was tense and the staff was aggressive toward customers. We heard shouting and insults coming from the cashier at the entrance, and arguments with various customers. This worried us. So we avoided mentioning the incredibly long and exhausting wait we endured for such a pittance. At least we enjoyed the view of the lake, which was beautiful. We won't be returning, and we'll be spreading bad publicity since we're from the area.

16/08/2025: Ferragosto lunch, an unforgettable experience (unfortunately). If you like endless waits, waiters who talk to you like you're a nuisance, and the thrill of arguing at the cash register to pay for what you didn't eat, this is the perfect place for you! We had the "honor" of waiting 30 minutes for an order, witnessing a scene with a table of five young people, and an attempt to get them to pay the full bill. A restaurant like this... I'll make a note of it, so I never return.

30/06/2025: Home delivery almost always happens in a short time, and the prices are proportionate to the food, which is not bad anyway. The guys who answer the phone are very friendly, even the owner is a down-to-earth man. Having so far only ordered home delivery, I can't judge the place.

08/06/2025: It made me lose the desire to have dinner... I asked for a sandwich with sauces on the side and he only put them in a glass... never again

16/08/2025: I attended the fish dinner, which included mussel soup, mixed fried fish, and dessert. There were three of us, two of us opting for the fish menu and a pizza. Ordering was already very slow, even though there weren't any people there yet—only four people at two tables. We ordered, and the soup arrived, which was nothing but boiled mussels, cold and flavorless. Then, after a long while, the plates were taken away. An interminable wait followed, and then the mixed fried fish arrived, consisting of small fish, a shrimp, calamari, and sardines. Naturally, it was cold. The calamari was like soft breadcrumbs, the small fish weren't crunchy, and the sardines were in their innards, as was the shrimp. Practically inedible, so we left the plate. After an interminable wait, they came to take away the plates, and after a quick ice cream, they brought the dessert, tiramisu, completely frozen. But as I said at the beginning, there were three of us, and the third person wasn't asked if they wanted anything. However, given the way the evening went, I won't be setting foot there again.

13/08/2025: Congratulations on ruining my birthday party, despite booking a week in advance. When we arrived, the venue was closed. After a phone conversation, they couldn't find my reservation, so they didn't let me know. We definitely won't be returning, and we'll let our friends know.
