01/01/2026: If you want to please both your eyes and your palate... This is the place for you, just as Altamarea is for us, where we'll return every time we return to Imperia. Good food, fast and courteous staff, and an undeniable view of the sea! Kudos to everyone for their customer service!! I only recommend serving a little more of the first courses.... I hope this is constructive criticism 😉

26/11/2025: A truly excellent seaside restaurant. I recommend it for the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. All the dishes are excellent, as I've been there several times and it's a must-visit in Porto Maurizio.

07/04/2026: A small, family-run restaurant at the entrance to Badalucco. We had lunch on Easter Sunday even though we hadn't booked. The owners were very friendly, kind, and professional; they took care of us even though we didn't order the full menu. The restaurant is unpretentious, very tidy and clean. The food is good, with generous portions and very tasty. The service was very good, fast, and punctual. Excellent value for money. If we ever return to this area, we'll definitely be back.

11/04/2026: The staff were friendly and welcoming. The location was good and welcoming, though a bit dated. The bruschetta and focaccia were delicious. The meat was also excellent. As for the entrees, I have to say that the pesto was good but didn't seem homemade, and the wild boar ragù was a bit too rich for my taste.

04/02/2026: After much deliberation, due to the numerous bad reviews, I finally gave this place the benefit of the doubt. Indeed, the much-discussed old man is sitting proudly at the entrance, watching television. And yes, he does throw the cutlery on the table. No offense intended; he's seen it all before, and this is just his way of doing things. Inside, someone is eating just a plate of fries, another still has his coat and hat on, and yet another's dog is lying on the couch. If this isn't your style, then stay away. I, for one, feel right at home. This is an Italian restaurant as it should be. Genuine, pure, original, no frills, no fancy stuff. A waiter arrives after me, half an hour late. Another half hour later, another waiter. Half an hour later, a new person gives me a sweet snack. Meanwhile, the old man has refilled my wine. The staff are kind, friendly, and helpful. The food is delicious, fresh, simple, and affordable. The kitchen is working at top speed. This is quality, honest food, and a cozy atmosphere with real Italians. Appreciate these kinds of places; they're a dying breed. Highly recommended by Hollandstadt.

07/01/2026: A very simple restaurant, with a menu and a trattoria-like approach, close to the sea but no sea view. A few tables inside, not many more outside. The restaurant menu is a bit limited (but often that's not a bad thing), plus a standard selection of pizzas. Spaghetti allo scoglio was good, and the fritto misto was very good, but also very limited and sad. If you're used to abundant mixed seafood fritti with many different types of fish, then choose something else. Prices are a bit too Riviera-like in high season; I recommend lowering them, at least in winter; otherwise, I understand the restaurant being empty on a holiday. The service was quick (but the restaurant was deserted) and friendly, but the restaurant needs a little more attention to its table setting and menu.

21/01/2026: I recommend the pizza because it was really good and not heavy. The arrosticini were good and tasty, but it's a shame they were lukewarm/cold. The service was a bit slow, but with good company, the wait goes unnoticed. Price: €25 per person with two Cokes. I'll definitely be back; the atmosphere was truly homely and welcoming.

12/12/2025: The pizzas are well-topped, taste great, and are slightly thicker, which I prefer to the thinner ones you find elsewhere. The service is so-so.

07/04/2026: We went for Easter lunch with friends...I understand it's a holiday...but waiting three hours is just not an option. I heard there's been a change of management! Terrible organization. Too long a wait, and the food was mediocre. I don't think I'll go back. I'm sorry.

21/03/2026: A wonderful place to eat in Diano Marina, especially off-season. I had the opportunity to try several places and settled on this cozy restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff is lovely. I've been there during peak season too and everything was still great!

12/01/2026: Family dinner with friends. Even though we had a reservation, we found ourselves waiting for a table to become available. Okay, so we ordered, and the two tables that arrived after us were served immediately. Okay, so our dishes began to arrive, but the staff stopped by first to ask the adjacent tables if they had their orders. Okay, so we asked for the meat's doneness, but everything arrived rare. After asking, we were told that red meat should be eaten rare. Since it's requested during the order, why would they bring them all the same? If you sit near the windows in winter, you'll suffer from the cold because of the drafts. The meat and pizzas are good, but the service is a bit naive; draw your own conclusions.

11/01/2026: This pizzeria is even more popular in the summer thanks to its huge outdoor terrace. In the winter, the tables are numerous and too close together, so there's little room for bags and jackets, resulting in inevitable noise chaos. I'd reduce the number of tables. The pizza is typical of the '90s Northern Italian style. Thin. The ingredients are good, well-seasoned, and the ingredients are meticulously selected. The Imperia IPA beer is excellent, and I recommend it to those who don't like it too bitter. The dessert selection is good. Their Pandoro deserves special mention, and I found it truly delicious, well-leavened and well-made. I ate it with their homemade pistachio ice cream, which is amazing. The bill was reasonable: about €65 for four. Parking is large and convenient. I recommend everyone come and enjoy the pizza, and also the meat, given their great attention to quality. I suggest including the Neapolitan pizzas, because pizza tastes have shifted toward that even in the North, but for the rest...

16/04/2026: Very nice place. That's about it. Service is very slow. There's a lot of pasta, but it's the cheapest kind, and the sauces are also clearly cheaply made. They're just trying to feed lots of tourists on the cheap. Better to go further inland to restaurants with homemade food. Even the two other restaurants nearby are significantly better. Update from yesterday: if someone doesn't want to eat, they put an empty plate next to them and demand the cover charge. I've never experienced such rudeness. I won't be trying again!

10/03/2026: Small, fine restaurant; communication as a German without Italian language skills was no problem thanks to the very friendly staff; the food (3 courses with coffee) was inexpensive, very tasty, large portions, and the dessert was incredibly delicious; authentic cuisine – simply a wonderful restaurant in a beautiful place.

11/03/2026: If you like pan pizza and/or paella, this is undoubtedly the best place to go! A family-run restaurant that's been open for over 45 years. Mario, the owner, is always available and takes great care to please his customers. I highly recommend it.

06/04/2026: Amazing!! Where's the sixth star? I'm pressing it!! Beautiful, extensive menu with many Italian specialties and pizzas. Very affordable prices. But above all, the quality and taste! The porcini ravioli had a sauce with 10 large pieces of porcini mushrooms! A real treat! The bruschetta, as a starter, was also excellent. Truly a culinary delight! If you want to eat there: there's only one requirement: make a reservation or be incredibly lucky, given the long lines.
