07/04/2026: A trip out of town for the Easter holidays. Having already been, I couldn't help but return to enjoy their seafood delicacies, so to guarantee a table, I made a reservation, and the very kind and friendly staff confirmed my reservation over the phone, agreeing on an arrival time.
The restaurant, located in the city center on the Via Aurelia, is easily accessible from the San Bartolomeo Mare motorway exit. It's just a few meters from the sea and is simple yet very welcoming, with wooden tables and paper tablecloths. The walls are decorated with fishing nets and maritime decorations, reminiscent of the surrounding area while maintaining the mountain warmth of the wood paneling.
The welcoming staff provided prompt and attentive service.
The quality of the food was excellent, and we personally favored all the fish dishes (fried mixed seafood, fried calamari and shrimp, and a mixed grill of fish). Given the large portions, all dishes were served without sides. The decidedly dry frying allowed the food to remain light and not greasy, thus favoring its subsequent digestibility. The truly well-cooked grilled meat impressed with the perfect cooking of the swordfish, allowing the meat to remain tender and juicy.
We concluded with desserts (meringues with chocolate and caramel topping and a strawberry cup).
The price of the fish-based main courses, desserts, water, wine, coffee, and service charge was proportionate for the quality and quantity. A limoncello was also kindly offered to round off the meal.
Given my previous experience, I also recommend the fish-based first courses. I've never tried the pizzas, and the menu deserves attention because it offers a good selection for various palates, without going overboard. The restaurant is not certified for celiac disease, but according to the staff, they guarantee dishes that allow you to eat without any worries. Highly recommended.
