Management by both the waiters and the owner was nonexistent.
The appetizers arrived after the pizzas and after multiple requests.
Tasteless scallops swimming in butter, "Ceriana" sausage on the menu (it seemed boiled) with flavorless beans and a rustic plating, which is an understatement (this was pointed out to the waitress and the dish was sent back).
All with a side of mixed fried fish-flavored fries, definitely fried in the same oil.
The owner/cashier (who was acting as the restaurant manager) was, in my opinion, too pedantic and not at all open to criticism.
The bill was €70 for two for an empty stomach with only wine and dessert.
03/01/2026: A restaurant with two rooms and an outdoor terrace, seating approximately 200 people. Private parking is available. The atmosphere is clean and the kitchen is well-maintained. The basic menu offers three first-course and three second-course choices. The homemade butter and sage ravioli are excellent.

A quaint, tranquil atmosphere and truly friendly staff. We'll definitely return.
29/08/2025: On our way back from vacation, we were looking for a place inland for dinner, and almost by chance, our GPS took us to Vallebona. Although it's not very close to the highway, it was a great choice: we discovered a charming village, worthy of a more leisurely visit, and a simple yet authentic restaurant where we enjoyed truly high-quality pizza. The prices were excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Looking at the menu, we were also intrigued by the grilled meat and fish, which we'll definitely try next time.

The owners are young, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I recommend the fritto misto; it's fresh, high-quality, and cooked to perfection.
Highly recommended.

06/10/2025: Last night, my partner and I, while visiting Imperia, dined at this restaurant, which undoubtedly deserves recognition for its willingness to offer vegan options.
We had seitan escalopes with mushrooms, the seitan having a very soft texture and the mushrooms being passable but a bit watered down, and a black cherry-flavored gelatine, which I assume is a packaged version from a well-known brand we vegans know well.
Overall, the dinner was passable, but what I find less than acceptable is the lack of transparency in the prices of the vegan dishes offered. Customers aren't supposed to ask for the price of each dish, and there's no justification for this omission.

22/12/2025: For me, this is the best restaurant ever. We've been coming back to this family-run establishment every holiday since it opened over 35 years ago. All the dishes are homemade, from appetizers to pizza, fish, and especially the fantastic grilled meat. Everything tastes amazing, and there's something for everyone.
Today, the chef bought some special meat: Fiorentina, or veal cutlet, from Tuscany. You can taste that the meat has had time to mature, not mass-produced. It's prepared with love and skill on an open grill and served on a hot stone so you can enjoy it at your leisure. It's perfectly seasoned, cooked to perfection—an absolute delight.
The "nonna" makes the desserts herself, including fantastic tiramisu, cakes, panna cotta, and more. And of course, there's the pizza, which has made the restaurant famous for decades.
I also love the combination of fresh, paper-thin breaded calamari with Mediterranean vegetables.
... You simply have to try everything if you can only come once a year...
Update 2022... Finally being able to be back at this restaurant was simply wonderful. I recommend trying everything on the menu from top to bottom...

You absolutely must try the tuna tartare! It HAS to be fresh, and here it definitely is... So good, so delicious, great sushi quality.

01/01/2026: A simply fantastic experience. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect, from the table setting to the quality of the olive oil and bread served. The fish, naturally ultra-fresh, is immediately distinctive in its aroma and flavor.
The staff is friendly and attentive! The owner is pleasant, welcoming, and friendly: one of those restaurants you haven't seen in a while.
The pasta dishes were excellent and generously portioned: the pesto, with its bright color and intense aroma, was clearly made that morning, while the penne with salmon was top-notch.
The complimentary coffee was very welcome. The value for money is sensational. I can't wait to return.
(I highly recommend the place to both romantic and party-goers.)

Good food, fast and courteous staff, and an undeniable view of the sea!
