07/07/2026: The place is beautiful, and so is the view. Eating with the sound of the waves always has its charm. This is my third time there, and I don't know if the management has changed or something else, but the experience wasn't pleasant. They escorted us to the table and explained the off-menu items, and I decided to order one (raw red shrimp, 5 pieces) followed by a large raw seafood platter. I asked what was in the large raw seafood platter, and aside from 3 oysters, the waitress didn't know what was in it or how much. She went to the kitchen, asked, and came back, telling me there were scampi and tuna, but without telling me the quantities. Okay, never mind. Five minutes passed, and the waitress returned: unfortunately, the off-menu item isn't available because we have to put some red shrimp in the large raw seafood platter and we don't have enough. Oh, maybe it would be a good idea to check before offering off-menu items?!? I settled on an alternative. The large raw seafood platter arrived. Hot, at room temperature (30 degrees Celsius). The scampi were good, but the rest was unclassifiable. The tuna tartare looked worse than the one I got at the supermarket. I haven't tried the pizzas, but if you're going for fish, I wouldn't go back.

10/07/2026: Excellent food. As a family of four, we spontaneously decided to eat there while on holiday and enjoyed it so much that we returned two days later. Both the spaghetti and the pizzas are delicious.

12/06/2026: The quality of the ingredients is top-notch, which more than justifies the somewhat unpopular price. As for the drinks, however, I think the "profits" are a bit excessive, given that they serve products available in large-scale retail outlets. In any case, it's an experience worth trying.

07/06/2026: The place stands out only for its large oven that builds fire and pizzas with the speed of a machine gun. The rest of the place looks like a place with slightly dated seaside decor. But that's no big deal, since you get to eat. And that's where things change: the pizza is light yet rich, like a simple dress made of the most expensive silk. I also had the tagliata, which left a lovely smoky flavor that opens up your stomach. The extra bill wasn't even high. The only downside was perhaps the wait, which was a bit long, but in the end, who cares when you're on vacation? The most important thing is the food; good.

01/06/2026: The outdoor seating area was beautifully set with tablecloths, napkins, and glasses. We enjoyed two delicious pizzas, and the service was quick and friendly. A lovely meal before catching the ferry to Corsica.

18/07/2026: 5 stars with reservations We've been twice this week On Wednesday at England Argentina, the food was divine, one of the best pizzas I've had in years. Tonight, three days later, the pizza wasn't good, the same pizza (raw ham), something completely different, tasteless, and above all, the raw ham was very little, as was the mozzarella. A total disappointment considering I drove 80 km to get back. Anyway, I'll be back because it's impossible that Wednesday's pizza was a fluke, I think. Even more so, tonight's. Perhaps with so many people on Saturday, there may be variables. The price of draft beer was exaggerated.

08/07/2026: How wonderful! The mussels marinara are delicious! I wasn't entirely satisfied with the first course, "spaghetti mari e monti," which was very heavy due to the large amount of cream and had little seafood flavor. All the ingredients were top-quality, but lacked balance. The staff in the dining room were excellent, courteous, and attentive.

07/07/2026: My husband and I stopped for dinner after reading reviews on Google and looking at photos and the menu. The outdoor area was very nice, but some of the chairs were dirty. You can't control the passing birds, that's true, but I'd recommend a little more attention. The staff was helpful and friendly, but I wasn't impressed with the food. I found the seafood risotto watery, as was the grilled calamari. Too bad...maybe we just happened to be having a bad night.

27/05/2026: A truly wonderful discovery in Moneglia, recommended by the owner of the abbey where we were staying—and what an excellent recommendation it was! We spent several remarkable evenings thanks to the warm welcome of Guido Compiano and his entire team. Delicious and refined cuisine, attentive service, and an elegant yet convivial atmosphere: everything came together for a truly memorable experience. We particularly appreciated the wine recommendations and the kind recommendation of a local supplier located very close to the restaurant, which allowed us to extend our exploration of regional products. Special mention also goes to the excellent ice cream, drizzled with a delicate syrup, as indulgent as it was delicious. An address we wholeheartedly recommend.

30/06/2026: We've been to this restaurant several times and have always had a great time. Saturday night, however, was not the case. Everyone has a bad night, but sitting down at a table after booking two days in advance and being forced to choose between four dishes is not satisfying. The side baked potatoes and salad were even out of stock! What left us perplexed was the waitress's joke, who "reprimanded" us for choosing the second sitting at 9:30 pm... so don't take reservations if you don't know how to organize yourself! The result? €39 per person to eat what was left (don't think we drank a lot, one bottle between eight of us). Furthermore, the only portion of ribs served at the table were... brontosaurus-like, given their size and such a "gamey" taste... sorry, but that's not the case. The only positive note was the focaccia, good but definitely overpriced. Too bad, we'll try again at the end of the season, perhaps, for a rematch.

01/06/2026: I'll start by saying that I never write reviews, but here we are on another planet. Just a few minutes' drive from the sea, you arrive in a very characteristic location surrounded by nature. We sat outside, where the background music was a truly relaxing and pleasant stream. I'll focus on the first dish we ordered, which truly left us speechless: the handmade borage ravioli with wild boar ragù... a mix of flavors we'd never tried before, truly expertly prepared and without the strong flavor that wild boar usually has. We continued our dinner with a truly spectacular Rubia Gallega rib-eye steak and finished with a homemade tiramisu, also very good. We stopped to chat with the owner and complimented him on everything. A truly wonderful experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

08/06/2026: We stumbled upon this delightful hotel almost by chance. It's dated but has modern, unique rooms! The welcome and parking were commendable, and the owners were particularly friendly. The breakfast was varied and tasty, including delicious homemade products made by the owner. Highly recommended!
