12/10/2025: Great food and friendly service. I visit Sestri several times a year, but this time I spent my vacation there with my wife. I'd never eaten here before, although I'd passed by many times, and this restaurant pleasantly surprised me. We stumbled upon it by chance. It was the first restaurant near the train station open so early, and we had to wait until 2:00 PM for the keys to our apartment. I hope to visit them again. I drive past it on my way to Fivizano or Lucca at work.

05/10/2025: Personally, the restaurant is truly excellent, both for its meat and seafood menus. The pizza is tasty and well-made, and the atmosphere is quiet and quaint. The staff is helpful and very friendly, making the service excellent. I often come here to eat with friends, and it never disappoints.

The photos show the appalling cooking conditions, as well as those of almost the entire table. I politely pointed this out to the staff, and they changed my order, albeit with rude manners and dirty looks. It's quite funny that my burnt pizza was offered to another table. The second pizza, though still undercooked, was edible, though not as good as some reviews had described. The rudeness of the staff (with the exception of one very polite and kind waitress) and the terrible service have convinced me not to return.

A wide selection of traditional Ligurian seafood dishes: we tried the fried stuffed sardines and sautéed mussels as an appetizer, and the tagliolini di nero with raw shrimp, burrata, and chopped pistachios—all truly delicious and made with high-quality ingredients. The desserts were also delicious, especially the sbrisolona with mascarpone cream and fresh red berries. Thanks for the helpful advice to the waiter, who served us with a subtle sense of humor—very friendly.

The dishes are excellent and beautifully presented; sometimes the daily menu also features a delicious bagna cauda, ​​truly unmissable. I found the tagliolini with white truffle excellent, offered at a fair price for the quality of the ingredients. Special mention also goes to the Fassona fillet, tender and flavorful, one of the best I've tasted. The idea of ​​having the wine list "on display" directly in the dining room, with all the bottles in plain sight, is very unique: a curious and fun solution that allows you to easily explore the available labels. I would also happily add a printed list to complete the experience. And if you were born in the '70s, you'll also find the background music irresistible, perfect for creating a pleasant and familiar atmosphere. In any case, a quality restaurant where I will gladly return. Recommended.

19/01/2026: We were passing through and ended up at this restaurant thanks to the good reviews. Luckily! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was incredibly friendly. You feel warmly welcomed and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Since we were so happy with everything, we went back to this restaurant on our way home. We had a mixed salad and a pizza pistachio. The pizzas were so delicious that we also got a pizza tonno to take with us :-) This restaurant comes highly recommended. We thank all the staff for their wonderful hospitality.

We sat down and after a few minutes they came to take our orders. We ordered: 1 Recco type (focaccia with stracchino cheese inside), 1 classic farinata, and 1 Libidine (soft focaccia with PGI Bologna mortadella, burrata, pistachio pesto, and Sicilian pistachio crumbs), and to drink: 1 medium lager, 1 Coke, and 1 Estathé. Very kind staff, beautiful place, and fair prices. We had a great time 🍕😘😊😊

28/12/2025: I've tried this place twice within a few days, and I have to say the location is excellent: it's centrally located, close to the sea and the Rapallo promenade. The atmosphere is informal, and the service was quick and friendly. Unfortunately, the food wasn't up to par: the paella was sandy and flavorless, and the white wine and sangria were bland (almost "sachet-like"). I can't comment on the pizzas (I haven't tried them), and the train noise is a bit annoying, but that's a minor detail. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it due to the poor quality of the food.
