03/10/2025: A nice local restaurant, very reasonable prices for the quality of food. We were a group of 8 staying near Fiumicino airport and the waiter was very nice with us and spoke English. The appetizers like suppli and the fried olives were delicious, and the pasta and pizza were both top notch. A great spot for anyone staying nearby to the airport for dinner the night before departure.

08/06/2025: Excellent location 2 km from Soriano nel Cimino and 12 km from the Orte toll booth. Restaurant, hotel, excellent breakfast. Shaded areas, outdoor spaces. Close to Viterbo and about 1 hour and 10 minutes from Rome. Kindness and welcome from the owners. Internal parking for cars

05/10/2025: On Saturday nights, given the crowds, it's a very noisy place, making it difficult to talk at the table. The pizza is Roman-style, crispy and sometimes burnt. The service is courteous and attentive.

01/10/2025: I personally had the fettuccine with porcini mushrooms. The mushrooms were good, but the pasta was lukewarm, almost cold. Perhaps precooked. The amatriciana sauce was a bit acidic. Everything else was fine.

05/10/2025: We booked for 4, they reserved a table for us near the oven, we kindly asked if they could move us because it was too hot, they didn't accommodate us, raw pizza dough, we didn't digest it even the next day, I had other expectations.

23/09/2025: Here I am, editing my review after some time. I called a few days ago to book a table for a birthday party, but unfortunately it wasn't possible because they introduced two new rules: if you're part of a large table and you book for 7:30 PM, you have to leave at 9:15 PM, and the menu includes a meal prep. Otherwise, you arrive at 9:30 PM and can easily stay as long as you like... Let's just say I don't mind eating at 9:30 PM. Question: What if I go to a pizzeria with older guests and they eat a little earlier? Do I have to rush to eat and leave by 9:15 PM? And if the restaurant has a kitchen problem and dinner goes on past the agreed-upon time, can we eat the cake at the bus stop? I must be stupid, but I don't understand this method.

05/10/2025: A very good local friend invited us here with high recommendation of the food and it did not disappoint! All the food including the pizzas were excellent. Really loved the meats platter and vegetables!

21/10/2025: Having come to Valmontone for a work meeting, I searched social media for a place to eat. The reviews I'd read about Olio, sale e pepe piqued my interest, so I called to make a reservation. I immediately hit it off with Marco, right from the phone call. So, we went to see him for dinner. The lunch was excellent, the food just like home: tasty, plentiful, and high-quality. A wonderful experience worth repeating, even though Marco is 70 km away from me. Kudos to the guys. Polite and friendly. Definitely worth a try!

24/09/2025: By far the best Roman pizza I've ever had in the city. The dough is delicious and extremely digestible, and the ingredients are carefully selected and paired with top-notch ingredients. If it costs more than others, it's because it's definitely worth more.

31/08/2025: A pizzeria where you order focaccia with arugula and parmesan cheese will tell you they don't have arugula and don't use it as a product. However, if you look at the menu, it seems they do use it—it's a joke, but it's okay.
