22/08/2025: I just read an unfavorable review, and sometimes (very rarely) that can happen. I went there with a dear friend of mine, and I can't really say anything. Maybe it was the time or something else. However, I'd like to point out that there's a lot of competition these days, taxes are plentiful, and bad days happen to everyone. This is why we should give the owner a second chance and not undermine the organizational skills of an owner who puts his heart and soul into a business he believes in. For this reason, I'm cautious about giving a very low rating and reviewing in a way that doesn't leave room for excuses. Okay, they may have spent money, made the reservation, but not everything went smoothly. It can happen, it shouldn't, but a mix-up can always happen. Please be more understanding. Rieti is a small city, after all, and if it were always poorly managed, it would have closed by now.

14/08/2025: An old-fashioned establishment without too many pretensions, but that quickly fades into the background when the food is good and the staff is competent. The prices (for me, coming from Milan) are ridiculous, so I'll be back every night. Highly recommended!

09/08/2025: Nightmare experience, we ordered 4 pizzas to go, they said about a 15 minute wait; after 30 minutes I went in to ask, rudely they told me I had to wait 30 minutes and when I pointed out that I had ordered 30 minutes before I received no response... after 50 minutes of waiting standing still nothing was ready, we asked for our money back and didn't even get an apology... in the end we ordered from the pizzeria next door "il mattarello" which in less than 10 minutes prepared excellent pizzas.

16/07/2025: The parcel was excellent! I've never seen it before and it's truly mouth-watering, despite the simplicity of the ingredients: potatoes, zucchini, onions, etc. The pizza was also very good.

12/07/2025: La migliore pizza del quartiere ovviamente x me e mia moglie!!! Abbiamo optato x 2 suppli zucchine e provola e n'duia...pizza margherita e capricciosa...poi millefoglie e fragole con panna!!!tutto molto buono!!! Servizio perfetto!!! Conto giusto!!! Consigliato!!!

10/08/2025: My wife and I were there last night. The welcome was already something that made us smile. The offer, which was also sent by them, was valid for one person. They even let my wife take the offer. The appetizer was baby octopus, a little black, except that the oil needs changing every now and then. The first course was spaghetti with raw tuna tartar, which had a very strong flavor, even if it wasn't fresh. The second course was roasted squid, nothing to say, frozen but good. Then a bottle of white wine, medium-low, two desserts. We left there with a bill of 90 euros, including the offer. For a restaurant that is what it is, the service and the food too, in the far outskirts of town. The price is truly exaggerated and they don't ask why the place is empty on a Saturday. But you only try it once.

19/07/2025: We were passing by and stopped for a pizza. The place is very cute, perfect for a lovely summer evening. The staff is very kind and professional with their customers. As for the food, the pizzas were excellent; they have a wide selection of both white and red pizzas. We had the pizza with shrimp and truffle (the shrimp was obviously fresh), a great combination. What can I say, an excellent osteria. Truly, congratulations. We'll definitely be back.

15/06/2025: Terrible experience. We didn't even get to try the pizza, because the wait was interminable: rightly so on Saturday night there is only one person to roll out and put it in the oven, which is simply absurd for a place that decides to stay open on the weekend. We settled for two first courses, but the result was even worse: inedible dishes, which we left there. The icing on the cake, the arrogance and rudeness of the owner, totally incapable of managing customers and the dining room. A restaurant like this shouldn't even have the pretension of calling itself such. I will remember the name of the place so I never go back. P.S.: did the chef give you back the €50 or did he collect it himself? What a terrible story to include on your resume.

06/09/2025: The food is delicious, especially the liver appetizer, which is phenomenal. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff is very helpful. There's a children's park nearby, and the entire industrial area is just 3 km away! Highly recommended, whether you're going for a meal or just stopping by to explore the surrounding area. There's ample parking and a very quiet area.

23/08/2025: I'd like to start by saying that I was truly thrilled with my experience at this restaurant just outside Rieti, and I have many culinary experiences under my belt. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted impeccably: the entrance to the restaurant is beautifully designed and immediately conveys a sense of warmth and hospitality. It's clear that every detail has been meticulously considered, from the interior design to the lighting, creating an elegant yet familiar atmosphere. As soon as we entered, the staff greeted us with a sincere smile and a kindness that, unfortunately, is not so common these days. It's rare to find such attentive and professional service: everyone was available and ready to meet our every need without ever being intrusive. This was the first positive note that struck me, and from then on, I knew the evening would be special. We began dinner by ordering a mixed fish appetizer, and I must say it was a real surprise. The freshness of the products was evident from the first bite: each course was prepared with high-quality ingredients, carefully selected and carefully presented. From the tender octopus to the intensely flavorful shrimp, marinated anchovies, and seafood salads, every bite told a story of passion and attention to detail. I can't emphasize enough how perfectly balanced the flavors were: nothing was overdone, each element found its place in an overall harmony that made this appetizer truly unforgettable. After this excellent start, we decided to order four calzones, which already had a certain curiosity on the menu, and here I must admit that the restaurant far exceeded our expectations. These weren't the classic calzones you find everywhere: these were a true gastronomic masterpiece. The cooking was simply perfect: the dough was fragrant on the outside and soft on the inside, with a well-leavened and very light dough that didn't weigh us down at all. But what left us speechless was the size of the calzones: they were gigantic, never seen so much in my life, and yet despite their size, every bite was a concentration of flavor and balance. The filling was rich, plentiful, balanced, and made with the highest-quality ingredients, and this was clearly evident. The tomato tasted like tomato, the mozzarella was stringy and flavorful, and all the other ingredients were perfectly balanced. Another aspect that struck me was the speed and efficiency of the service: despite the restaurant being packed, the wait time was truly short. You can see that the kitchen and the dining room work in perfect synergy, and this contributes to making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I can say that this restaurant truly deserves to be known and appreciated. Not only for the high quality of the food, which alone would justify a visit, but also for the professionalism, courtesy, and passion that permeate every detail. It's a place where you feel pampered, where the customer is at the center, and where the love for cooking and hospitality is clearly evident. To round off the meal, they offered us some excellent spirits accompanied by delicious homemade biscuits, a thoughtful gesture that made the experience even more special. I highly recommend anyone in the area to stop here: whether you're a seafood or pizza lover, you're sure to find something to surprise you. Personally, I can't wait to return to try other dishes on the menu, because I'm sure they'll live up to what I've already tasted. This experience will undoubtedly remain among the best in recent memory!

24/08/2025: I've been a customer for many years, and a few months ago they changed the flour/dough, which isn't what it used to be. The pizza, especially the white one, due to its deliciousness, was the product that set the shop apart from others. The pizza they make today can be found at any other local grocery store. It's a shame...I hope they return to their old habits, and then I'll change my review.

11/07/2025: The food is delicious. I recommend the sliced meat and chicory, both special. The mixed antipasto is their strong point, all handmade. The pizza is delicious and very large, so if you're full, I recommend asking for a pizza box so you don't waste anything. The staff is very kind, the waitresses are polite and friendly. The owner, Eleonora, is wonderful, kind, and always available. Outside, there's a large parking lot and wooden benches overlooking the Aniene River, and further along, there's a beautiful park called I 5 Sensi. Inside, everything is made of beautiful wood, even the chairs and tables. What can I say? A full 5 stars.

12/08/2025: Amazing pizza, delicious. The owners were friendly and welcoming. We even slept there; they have modern, clean, and spacious rooms next door, just a 3-minute walk from the lakefront. Perfect. Unfortunately, we had a tragic evening with the other guests in the room next door, who argued furiously all night, but that certainly doesn't change our opinion of the place. Both for the food and the accommodation, it's 5-star considering the price we paid. We've been there before and will be back.
