06/06/2025: I could really recommend this atmospheric restaurant in Ostia. It’s close to the center but not that much touristic, therefore they really care about guests, and cooking good to satisfy locals. My seafood plate was great (probably, too big for a one person), and the house wine was also decent. But the best thing is a polite and caring attitude from the owner, and the waiter Jann-Lucca. Even if you travel alone you won’t feel abandoned here. He speaks English good, can give you a good advice on dishes, and even suggest you a great local liquor when you’re leaving. I had a great late dinner there which made happy both my stomach and my heart. Really suggested to visit!

04/09/2025: I'd never been to this restaurant, but I'd often read about it on Facebook and decided to give it a try. It wasn't a positive experience: the scampi cream risotto was overcooked and frankly lacked any cream, the mussels were cold, the spaghetti with clams were too salty, and the clams were small and cold, and the house Falanghina tasted corked. However, I must say that the staff was kind and helpful and offered us a discount on the final bill. The quality/price ratio needs reconsidering. The restaurant, large and spacious, in my opinion needs modernizing.

Pay attention to the times: it is often necessary to wait a long time, especially in the evening, when the pizza is almost always all booked in advance. The quality of the pizza remains very high - 9 out of 10 - even if, compared to a few years ago, there is a slight decline. The fact that Salvatore, for reasons of age, is now present less frequently has probably had an impact. However, it remains an unmissable stop for those looking for a real Roman pizza by the slice, made with experience and passion.

31/07/2025: I ended up in this place because of a motorcycle group organized by others. We were the only ones filling the place. The menu called for all-you-can-eat pizza, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. Every four people got a round pizza to share... they brought four pizzas! The problem was that not everyone was four, but for those of us like me, there were five of us on one pizza!!! Result... they literally kicked us out after the fourth pizza because they had to close at 10:30 PM! I'll just say that it took half an hour for each pizza... 😡😡😡 I left hungry, pissed off, disappointed, and above all, €40 less!!! A rip-off!!!!! It's a shame because the place was actually nice!

We ate a very good artichoke risotto, but the Genoese garganelli were sublime: better than the original version 🤭 as a second course, delicious aubergine meatballs and fried pizza. The Sunday lunch concluded with desserts, which were also delicious, especially the delicate basil cheesecake. Super friendly and fast service. Honest prices! I'll be back soon.
