We ordered two takeout pizzas: one soft Quattro Stagioni and the other with kamut dough, half with quattro formaggi and the other with truffle, capers, and anchovies. I live in Germany, and the price seems almost ridiculous! €0.50 for EXTRA tomato sauce? €4 for truffle sauce for HALF A PIZZA? (Please see the photo...!!!!!) €2.50 for anchovies? (Also for half a pizza?) Good pizzas, but terrible service. I asked for the total over the phone so I could save money for later, and now I understand why they wouldn't give us a bill. This is our last time here, unfortunately.

01/07/2025: The best pizzeria and focacceria in Bologna. Fabulous and digestible dough with only high quality ingredients. I have been getting pizza here for years now and it is always a guarantee. The legendary slices of focaccia from Puglia are also fantastic, a real delight. Keep it up!

17/04/2025: Pizzeria tested: “Pizza Express Number One” Pizza tasted: Margherita with buffalo mozzarella DOP, long-leavening dough (72h), wood-fired As soon as it is served, the pizza has a high, well-alveolated crust, a sign of controlled leavening and generous hydration. The color is golden, with light browning from a wood oven: a perfect tan, worthy of a trade magazine. At the first cut, the blade slides without resistance: crunchy underneath, but soft inside, like a caress between two extremes. The scent of buffalo mozzarella is released immediately, with fresh lactic notes and a vaguely herbaceous finish, a sign of authenticity. The tomato? San Marzano, sweet and slightly acidic, well balanced, not intrusive. In the mouth, the mixture melts elegantly: a slightly nutty aftertaste, due to the expert cooking. Chewing is harmonious, rhythmic, almost musical. Vote : 9.2/10 “Balanced pizza, with personality, and above all humble: it tastes like home, but also speaks to the palate of those who study pizza.”

24/06/2025: Last night I was near Gingio pizzeria with 4 of my friends. While we were ordering food for a friend of mine while she was drinking a glass the water went down the wrong way and splashed it on the floor. We went out apologizing but the girl REFUSED SEVERAL TIMES TO GIVE US WHAT WE HAD ORDERED. On top of that she started arguing with us from behind the counter and there was no way to make her see reason.

15/06/2025: The pizza is good but it is not possible that every time you order pizza at home it arrives half an hour or an hour late. It would be better if they said right away what time they can actually deliver it, this is not acceptable also because it happened not once or twice but repeatedly. I will not order here again
