26/06/2026: Terrible luggage storage service, I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone! When we stored our luggage here, no staff informed us of the strict rule that bags could only be collected after 2:30 PM. Our travel plans suddenly changed and we had an urgent flight to catch, so we politely asked to retrieve our luggage in advance. Our bags were just casually left unsecured in the back kitchen without any locked lockers, meaning there were no safety or facility restrictions at all. However, a young blonde white female staff member was very unaccommodating. She rigidly refused our request simply by quoting the store's rules and showed no sympathy for our emergency flight situation. It is a major dereliction of duty not to inform guests of the mandatory pick-up time before storing luggage. The staff cannot deal with unexpected emergencies flexibly and ignored our urgent reasonable request, which brought huge trouble to our trip. The overall experience is absolutely awful, and I will never come back. Tourists who need to catch flights should avoid this restaurant at all costs. The staff lacks the flexibility to handle unexpected situations and ignored our legitimate, urgent request, causing significant disruption to our trip. The overall experience was terrible; I will never return. Tourists who have a flight to catch should definitely avoid this place.

28/05/2026: I left my backpack there, since they offer that service, and a shirt has gone missing. It's the only place I've lost track of it. Besides, when we went to pick up my backpack, we ate there, and the food was awful—a pasta dish that you wouldn't even find in a school cafeteria. HORRIBLE.

23/03/2026: I chose this hotel for its excellent location between the beach and the town center. From the outside, the appearance wasn't bad. The staff who welcomed us were very friendly. Payment was due upon arrival. We booked two single rooms (€70) and, at the owner's suggestion, requested two double rooms for single use (€80). In reality, we were given a single room and a double room for single use for a total of €150... but they charged us €160... We didn't say anything to avoid any problems with the receptionist... Once I entered the room, I noticed a strong sewer smell... luckily, there's a window in the bathroom, so I closed the door and left the bedroom window ajar to let in some air. When it's time to go to bed, I move the pillow (which is resting on the back of the bed) and notice a strong (too much) smell, only to discover two odor-absorbing glades stuck right behind the pillow... It's impossible to sleep with that kind of smell. I take them off and put them in the bathroom. Meanwhile, I notice the base of the back of the bed is noticeably dirty, with a "Pompea" sticker on the wood. I start checking the entire room and also notice the handle-less closet drawers, the electrical wiring in the bathroom (perhaps) not up to standard, and... final surprise, the bathroom window of the room next door opens onto my bathroom. At 6 in the morning, it's impossible to sleep because of the loud noises coming from the stairs and other rooms. In conclusion... this hotel is definitely to be avoided, especially given its terrible value for money (€80 per room in winter is truly an absurd amount).

07/02/2026: I stayed there for 6-7 months for work and had a great time. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is excellent, right in the center of Punta Marina. The staff is very friendly and always attentive to guests' needs! I had a great time!

13/01/2026: Il Pappagallo in Cattolica... A place all in all, not bad, but nothing exceptional... perhaps the only place in Italy where the four-cheese pizza is made with tomato... When I asked the person who brought me the pizza, who was the owner, but did you make the four-cheese pizza with tomato...?!? He just replied, "It's on the menu..." I said, "Sorry, you're right!" After a minute, I had the pizza taken away... After 10 minutes, he came back and said... He sent the pizza back... "If you want, I'll remake the plain pizza..." So I said no, thanks, and didn't eat. I said... I made a mistake, I didn't read it, and I'll pay for everything, as I did, but I don't want to eat at this place... My friends ate... If the owner of the place, seeing my disapproval shortly before, had said RIGHT NOW, if you don't like it I'll make it again white (without responding as he had before), I would have accepted, but he only came after I sent the pizza back, and for this reason, for me there are no excuses and I won't give him a second chance. At the end of a terrible day in which my car broke down in Pesaro and I was forced to stop in Cattolica... I was just hoping for a peaceful evening and instead they ruined it for me... So I don't give this place more than a star. There is no empathy... The desire to want to change the pizza only after I sent it back saying... it's not that I'll be poorer if I make you another one... For me it's one, it's the wrong response that deserves nothing. I know that in the end I didn't eat and I paid anyway... But the satisfaction of eating after the way he had behaved, I didn't give him and I didn't want to give it to him. So, remember when you go to the parrot, read the menu carefully, if you really have to go there... and if you order the four cheese pizza, say right away that you want it plain like they make it in the rest of the world!

12/11/2025: I happened to be in the area for work and had lunch at this restaurant, which is OPEN during the low season. The spaghetti with clams was excellent, and the mussels were plentiful. The price was in line with what I ate and the prices, which are all displayed. The daily specials were excellent, including the meat dishes, which I didn't try, but the diners next to me complimented them, so... The owner was friendly; when I entered early, he was playing cards with a gentleman. The overall feel is authentic. I think I'll be back soon.

14/03/2026: A pizza that looks like a piadina! It's incredibly thin and doesn't fill you up. Now I understand why it's so cheap. If you want to fill up, you should at least order three each. No receipts, and if you pay by card, the lady shakes her head and snorts.

01/09/2025: For the little ones, there's a play area to help with long waits. Our two-and-a-half-year-old fell asleep while eating, managing to eat five mushrooms from his pizza piece, at 9:15 PM. We waited two hours for four pizzas. And a €2.50 cover charge for an empty plate was outrageous. Impregnated service. An experience that made us forget the quality.

I called to have the pizzeria fix the mistake, but they said they couldn't bring me a new one because the pizzeria is closing at 9:50 PM on Saturday?!? I feel cheated; you've lost a regular customer.

25/05/2026: We were here on a Monday evening. There were only a few people in the dining room, yet the quality of the food was quite poor. The appetizer was supposed to be a mixed fried vegetable platter with mozzarella in carrozza, but it was just a miserable, low-quality frozen supermarket portion. For our first course, we had black spaghetti with shellfish and burrata: the shellfish were definitely from the day before, and the pasta was precooked, so it was all stuck together. The only redeeming feature was the main course, a sliced ​​beef steak. Highly recommended, we spent €87 for two and had a very poor meal.

04/07/2026: I ate like a squalid restaurant and paid like a starred restaurant for a starter of 1 gram of ham, two cuts of 100 grams each and a plate of badly grilled and poor vegetables for a total of 93.80 euros. I strongly advise against stopping there again.

The service is mostly by reservation, but they manage to make pizzas quickly enough to serve even those who don't have a reservation: maximum efficiency. The staff is quick and efficient, with a guaranteed medium-high quality. The only drawback is the lack of a few small tables where you can eat in.
