24/11/2025: Ordered for 7:50 PM, arrived at 8:40 PM. The pizza was cold and very thin. Three days earlier, it was different and much better. Sorry, but "we'll make up for it next time" isn't an acceptable response. I'm sure the owner of the pizzeria wouldn't have appreciated it either, as a regular customer.

19/11/2025: I've tried several pizzerias in Modena, but since I discovered Pizzeria dal Pugliese, I can only recommend it to everyone.
The pizza is truly amazing.
The staff is friendly and polite.
The prices are super fair (which in other places, when you order 4 or 5 pizzas, it's like going to a jeweler).
And the service is really fast.
So, highly recommended.

19/02/2026: Excellent aperitivo: along with the cocktails, they brought us a lovely platter with a selection of focaccias, pizzas, and sandwiches. Everything was excellent and enough for two. Nice place and friendly staff. Perhaps the background music was a bit too loud...

My friend tried both the chocolate croissant and the regular croissant and thought they were great.
I ordered the apple cake; it was moist and dense with a subtle apple flavor—delicious!
Another friend ordered a sandwich and said it was good too. The fries were also nice; the outer layer was crispy and dry.
Highly recommended!

20/01/2026: A must-try because it's the only place open in Pianello on a Saturday for lunch. Overall, so-so. The Batarö wasn't bad, very large, but not comparable to the ones in Sala Mandelli or Roccapulzana. The cured meats were good. The Focaccia di Recco, on the other hand, was forgettable; it was two pizzas stacked on top of each other with a bit of crescenza cheese in between, nothing like the real Recco focaccia. Maybe try the first courses and the gnocco fritto. Service was unfriendly and inattentive.
28/12/2025: The bataró were good, the pizza was also good and the food was very pleasant, we ate some excellent turtei!

11/02/2026: Never judge a book by its cover. It's obviously not a fancy restaurant, but it's places like these that are the most surprising because you'd never have thought you'd eat so well! I've tried both the pizza and the kebab and I can confirm that everything is truly delicious, and the staff is incredibly kind and generous. Well done, keep it up!!
