10/07/2025: Highly not recommended for the following reasons: 1. On Google, it stated it offers home delivery, which it doesn't. 2. I opted for takeout. He gave me a time, but when I arrived (at the agreed-upon time), he still hadn't started making them, and I waited 25 minutes. 3. After several curses and complaints from the pizza chef about other customers who weren't there, my pizza was ready, and I "tried" to pay for it. I say "tried" because as soon as I asked to pay by card, I was told he doesn't have a card reader and only accepts cash. He pointed out that he hadn't had a card reader for a month and a half. After a bit of discussion about how to pay, he decided to stand in my face and tell me that for €20, he's not starving (in a rather aggressive tone), then he puts his hand on my shoulder and sends me away, escorting me to the exit without asking me to pay for the pizzas. Aside from the regulatory issue of not having a POS, I'm mostly critical of the fact that I have no idea how a place with a person like that could still be open.

06/09/2025: A nightmare! We ordered a mixed grill, a mixed fried fish platter with crispy vegetables, and a French fry. The menu didn't specify what each dish included. We were told verbally: sausage, ribs, bacon, capocollo, and chicken. The fried fish platter included shrimp and calamari. After about 25 minutes, the plates were brought to us without bread or chips, and the grill was missing both chicken and bacon. We asked for an explanation and asked for bread. We were told they would bring a piadina that was in the oven, and that the chicken and bacon were out... We asked for bread three more times, and of course, the piadina and French fries never arrived. As for the fried fish, it was all dry and stuck together. The vegetables were the only positive note. When it came to the bill, it almost seemed like they were trying to give us a huge discount, but instead they charged us full price, and on top of that, the grilled dish that was listed at €14 on the menu was €15 on the bill. I'd say it was an experience to forget!

20/09/2025: By following the Vandelli route and sleeping in a tent, we didn't stay in the usual places, and Lama was well beyond the second day's stop. Their "hospitality," which included letting us charge our phones, washing our faces in the bathroom, and kindly providing directions on where to pitch our tent for the night, makes it an added reason to return.

06/10/2025: The prices are crazy compared to other rest stops. The sandwiches are terrible, as always.

20/10/2025: We were craving fish... we went to this restaurant-pizzeria specializing in fish. The atmosphere was nice, and even though it was busy, it was quite quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had fish... it was excellent!! But I was told the pizza was also very good... we'll try it soon. They also have a traditional menu... what can I say? There's plenty of choice!

08/10/2025: Fresh porcini mushroom pizza.... Spectacular!!!! Homemade trifle... As good as grandma makes it! It was very noisy, but only because the place was packed with two tables at the same time. Highly recommended.

24/09/2025: Extremely kind and helpful staff, fair prices, excellent location, and even a bathroom with a window. It's nice to encounter these situations, especially when you're dealing with a repair. If I really wanted to find one thing that could be improved, I'd suggest a slightly larger TV. Highly recommended.

11/10/2025: Spending a day with my mom and daughter, going from doctor's appointments to clinics, and finally sitting down to enjoy the lunch you've been dreaming of is truly a wonderful feeling. From the truly superb Sangiovese in a carafe to the truffle cappellettini, from the delicious fried porcini mushrooms to finally finishing with a delicious Portuguese latte! We'll be back.
