15/10/2025: Went for lunch with friends (13). Nice and well-kept place.
Prices a little higher than average for similar establishments: decent appetizer for the quality and turnover per item (?), a first course (good overall) or a second course of your choice (the meat dishes were so-so), a dessert, 7 mineral waters, 2 liters of wine, dessert and some coffees or liqueurs, average €35 per person (see receipt)......a bit high.

15/10/2025: Al Borgo truly impresses with its delicious dishes—the pizza is deliciously crispy, the pasta fresh and perfectly flavorful. You can clearly sense the genuine passion in the kitchen! 🍕🍝
It's just a shame the service is a bit too relaxed. The staff sometimes seems inattentive—it almost feels like they'd rather be in the kitchen than oversee the dining room. A little more smile and a more constant presence would make the experience perfect.
Anyway, the excellent food is definitely worth a visit! With a little more attentive service, it would definitely be five stars.
11/08/2025: I love this place. My favorite first courses are the pasta all'arrabbiata and the Diavola pizza, but I've eaten almost everything on the menu and it's delicious. I've been coming here for years. Thank you so much 🫶🏽

15/02/2025: I discovered this pizzeria by chance while doing some online research.
The place is modern, very cute, and well-decorated.
The pizza is excellent, well-cooked—not burnt—and very easy to digest. It's on par with the more renowned and well-publicized pizzerias in the Caserta province.
The staff welcomed us with kindness, a smile, and a friendly attitude.
The service was excellent and fast, despite it being Valentine's Day.
The prices: personally, I find them fair, especially considering the quality of the pizza.
I highly recommend it.
We'll be back.

25/09/2025: "Double frothed coffee" is appalling to say the least. As if when you bring it to the customer, you don't notice that it's black, completely burnt. And it's stained, not frothed.
Undrinkable.

18/08/2025: There were four of us: a pizza, two first courses, and two second courses. The food was very good, and you could taste the quality. The pizza was truly excellent! The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was clean and tidy.
The quality/price ratio was truly remarkable.

28/08/2025: We come here every year and are always impressed. The food is a real treat – plentiful, delicious, and of top quality. The ambiance is beautiful and creates an all-around pleasant atmosphere. The service is always prompt and friendly. Especially the owner: incredibly nice and simply a great man!
Highly recommended – we're already looking forward to our next visit.

04/11/2025: I've been back several times, after about four decades...I've rediscovered many of the old culinary traditions. Thank goodness, I might add! Recommended place except during busy periods, especially if there are events or festivals in the area that draw people from all over the region. Too much chaos doesn't help the service. Smaller portions, incomplete appetizers...let's say slightly improvised with what they have at the time. On all other occasions, a 7/8 is well deserved. Great and kind. 😁

The pizza was good, but it arrived after my neighbor had already finished his.
The bathrooms were clean, but there was a strong smell...
18/08/2025: The place is very welcoming, German-style, with great attention to detail, and truly charming. The problem was the service; I don't know if it was just for this evening, but I didn't have a great experience. We arrived at 8:40 PM and ate at 10:00 PM because they took care of the takeout service first. Overall, the pizza was good and didn't leave me feeling bloated. I'll be back to try the fish, which they say is delicious!

The orders were taken quickly, but I can't say the same about the service. We waited 40 minutes for our pizzas, but considering the restaurant was busy, I could live with that. What I can't stand is that after that wait, I was presented with a RAW PIZZA that kept sticking in my mouth; I left more than half of it on my plate.
