05/10/2025: Updated 2025: I removed a star. The pizzas no longer have the exclusive flavor they once had. The pizza that I used to rave about has become mediocre, given the reinterpretation of "a casa ra' nonna" (a la casa ra' nonna), and the quality/price ratio is very poor. Year 2023: One of the most popular contemporary pizzerias in Italy... a very welcoming place and obsessively set up for enjoying pizza. I ordered both the "ripassata" pizza with an old-fashioned ragù, the "ruota di carretto" Margherita, and the contemporary sausage and broccoli rabe. Giving a rating would be reductive, but something didn't really convince me, especially the latter. Michele in Naples remains inimitable. The four stars are for the lack of variety in the appetizers and for the dessert; there's much room for improvement. Be careful, go there at 7:30 PM; the place is very, perhaps too, busy.

24/08/2025: 5 stars for everything, I left a bad rating on Glov because I was delivered the wrong pizza, but it's still better than 99% of the popular pizzerias in Naples. I wish you much success in your business.

02/11/2025: I'm referring to the restaurant. I had an exquisite dinner where the menu was full of typical local dishes and they were all exceptional. When you go, I recommend the ciambotta and especially the hazelnut ravioli which were a delicacy. All positive things about the service, the location and the dishes are truly a wonderful place where you can also relax without a shadow of a doubt. I highly recommend it as a restaurant (not for the rooms but because I didn't use them). 10/10

29/05/2025: The review refers to my last visit on Easter Monday. An ideal place to savor genuine, home-made flavors. A family-run restaurant, where the legendary Tonino will delight you with excellent grilled meat. If there is the possibility (depending on the season) to have lunch outside, take advantage of it because you will enjoy a beautiful view. The menu prices are reasonable. With my family, as soon as we have the opportunity to gather, the choice seems obvious. Recommended!

02/11/2025: We arrived at this restaurant this evening after a trip. This place was chosen for the splendid photos they posted, but it was a complete disappointment. The waitress who took our order and brought our dishes was shamefully chewing gum. We wanted starters, but we were notified only when we were already at the table that the kitchen is closed for the evening and you can only get a few main courses by phone. They simply told us not to go later than 9:30 PM. The pizza dough was raw and without salt. The tomatoes on my pizza were sour. They had to remake the pizza, but the tomatoes still weren't good. I had warned them that they could avoid adding them, but there was no way. I asked for the pleasure of making pasta with tomato sauce, at least for my little daughter. It's a mystery, but in the end, it was done. The result? Raw, unsalted sauce! I asked the waitress for a second bottle of water, but she was sitting there talking about the TV show Affari Tuoi 🤦🏻‍♀️ We asked for three boxes of pizza because in the end, two adults and four children didn't eat, and before giving us three boxes, they wanted to check for strange things. I usually enjoy photographing dishes, but here, there was absolutely nothing to avoid.

02/11/2025: The portions of pasta were hallucinatingly large in the best sense of the word, not to mention that the dessert was out of this world.

12/10/2025: Our only luck was that with The Fork we paid €16 on a €32 bill. But spending little for a very heavy pizza with sub-par ingredients wasn't the best. The fry-up shop has okay service, but I repeat, any pizzeria you stop at in this area will have better pizza.

11/10/2025: Evening at a pizzeria with invited friends... terrible experience... After about two hours of waiting for a pizza... then the table service, I'm sorry to say, was terrible. We thought it would be a pleasant evening, but it turned into a nightmare!!!! We contacted them several times, but nothing... Terrible!!!!!

23/08/2025: The food is good, the pizza is well-seasoned, the ingredients are excellent, and the mozzarella is truly divine. Overall, however, they were a little too burnt, making them a bit bitter. The melted mozzarella was delicious. The quality/price ratio was good, and the bill was low. It's a shame about the acoustics; it's hard to talk and it's really loud and annoying.

18/08/2025: The food is perfect for the price and quality, a first and second course fills your stomach and the staff is excellent and always active and attentive.

22/09/2025: We stayed for eight nights, and had a lovely time with no complaints. Guido and his team and all very helpful and friendly, and he gave us lots of advice on what to do and how to get around the island, which improved our stay. He also arranged our transfers to and from Napoli airport (car-->ferry-->car), which removed a lot of stress and worked perfectly. The views are great, and the hotel is nicely located away from the busy streets - so long as you don't mind walking uphill. The restaurant is also really good - both in quality and value. If/when we go back to Sant' Angelo we will definitely stay here again - it's a lovely hotel, and very reasonably priced.

25/10/2025: A PLEASANT DISCOVERY. I've been coming to Naples for years, and I have to say that this pizzeria at the beginning of Corso Umberto has exceeded all my expectations compared to more upscale establishments...from the fried foods to the pizza, everything is delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. Kudos to the staff, who are very attentive to every request. If you're in the area, don't hesitate.

27/11/2025: The first restaurant in Rome where they didn't look out for me because I arrived with a stroller, and they even had a high chair and a baby changing table. The service and the food were great.

24/09/2025: Historic place in Frattamaggiore. Pizza and sandwiches always excellent. In my opinion, the speed of service should improve, but all in all, if you're in good company you don't even notice. Too bad that when your stomach is hungry, it doesn't have the same opinion.

20/10/2025: We found this pizzeria in several online gluten-free guides, so we decided to give it a try. The pizza was really good; you can tell they're experts in gluten-free, and I assume they've been doing it for a while. I noticed that the gluten-free pizzas came out of an oven completely different from the one used for gluten-free pizzas, and that reassured me. So, they pay maximum attention and care to people with intolerances. The place is a bit retro but unique; there are awards and pictures of Pulcinella everywhere, which characterize the dining room. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.
