PIZZA ONLY FOR DINNER, BUT LUNCH WAS EQUALLY EXCELLENT, WITH VARIOUS DISHES.
We had delicious dishes, updated but with a traditional, healthy flavor. Try more dishes, from fish to gnocchi. They also sell loose bread—I believe in the morning—but I recommend buying it and tasting it, as it's truly high quality and will stay with you forever.
The price is in line with other restaurants in the area, but quality comes at a price, and in this case, every penny is justified by the excellent quality.

31/10/2025: I go there often and I have to say the pizza is delicious. They have a wide selection of pizzas, including gourmet ones, all excellent. The fried foods are exquisite, and they have a great selection of wines and beers. There's an indoor bar, but not to the public, and they make excellent drinks; the section is well-stocked. The desserts are also delicious. Reservations are recommended, otherwise you'll either be stuck for a table or have to wait for them to become available. Ample parking is available.
29/09/2025: The food was okay, but we waited forever, and the value for money wasn't right (€65 for two pizzas, two glasses of wine, and an appetizer). The service was slow and unfriendly. Overall, we didn't feel comfortable and wouldn't go back.

20/10/2025: We found this pizzeria in several online gluten-free guides, so we decided to give it a try. The pizza was really good; you can tell they're experts in gluten-free, and I assume they've been doing it for a while. I noticed that the gluten-free pizzas came out of an oven completely different from the one used for gluten-free pizzas, and that reassured me. So, they pay maximum attention and care to people with intolerances. The place is a bit retro but unique; there are awards and pictures of Pulcinella everywhere, which characterize the dining room. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.

27/08/2025: We ate very well, both for lunch and dinner, at this lovely, traditional restaurant beneath the Aragonese Castle. It was like having your feet in the water...
For lunch, I had the fried paranza verace, one of the best I've ever eaten. For dinner, the seafood linguine: excellent, flavorful, rich... Just what I was looking for. Highly recommended.
03/08/2025: Very good Italian restaurant...very well located, the pasta and pizzas are very good, good white wines ishcia (the frontellini) seafood salads, pasta f mers....etc all very good...waiter and waitress very nice as well....as the person at the cash register anna😛🇮🇹

I've been coming to Naples for years, and I have to say that this pizzeria at the beginning of Corso Umberto has exceeded all my expectations compared to more upscale establishments...from the fried foods to the pizza, everything is delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. Kudos to the staff, who are very attentive to every request. If you're in the area, don't hesitate.

15/09/2025: Terrible staff, rude, always snobbish and disrespectful. They should all be fired. Once they literally slammed the door in my face. Then, if you don't decide what to eat within 10 seconds, the lady behind the counter will scream at you like a bird of prey. This should be part of "Nightmare Kitchens" on TV8.

22/09/2025: We stayed for eight nights, and had a lovely time with no complaints.
Guido and his team and all very helpful and friendly, and he gave us lots of advice on what to do and how to get around the island, which improved our stay.
He also arranged our transfers to and from Napoli airport (car-->ferry-->car), which removed a lot of stress and worked perfectly.
The views are great, and the hotel is nicely located away from the busy streets - so long as you don't mind walking uphill.
The restaurant is also really good - both in quality and value.
If/when we go back to Sant' Angelo we will definitely stay here again - it's a lovely hotel, and very reasonably priced.
