20/12/2025: An excellent (though a hair pricey) restaurant right in the thick of Capri Town which serves up fresh pasta and seafood. Be sure to ask if seating is open upstairs to get stellar views of Marina Grande and Naples.

15/11/2025: A very good option for eating near the Piazzetta, delicious at a reasonable price.

04/02/2026: We went with a group of friends for an event in the town of I Fucanoli and we didn't eat inside because that evening there was also a table outside with traditional dishes. We had a good time and we made an appointment with the same group to come back and taste the specialities of the internal restaurant.

13/11/2025: Located in the historic center, a very characteristic little place on the upper floor, even if small. The owner is super kind and friendly. The pizza is very good, not Neapolitan style, and the prices are excellent. Special mention also goes to the owner, who loves Calabrian cuisine, and therefore that of my homeland!

24/02/2026: Good, plentiful dishes. The display case is always well-stocked and offers a variety of starters and main courses. Prices are reasonable and reasonable. Parking is in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is small inside, but there are also outdoor seating options, with a panoramic view of the sea. I highly recommend it.

23/02/2026: Dirty place, high prices, slow staff. I had to explicitly ask for a receipt because they "forgot" to issue one. We'll report this to the appropriate authorities. P.S. - And now I expect the usual petulant, vulgar, and grammatically unskilled response from the owner (read what he writes... Should we give him a free volume on syntax and spelling?) P.S. 2 - I see that the elegant and cultured owner, to avoid making one grammatical mistake after another, thought it wise, this time, to comment with a single vulgarity written in capital letters (that's his usual level of communication...) and with dozens of emoticons (like children do when they're short on topics). Congratulations!

04/03/2026: Excellent pizza. Exceptional leavening. Good ingredients but so much excellence. Very small place. Prices are average for traditional pizzas. Unfortunately, the special pizzas are very expensive. Fast service.

23/01/2026: Precise and punctual, we ordered pizza and fried food at home, everything was excellent, we recommend it.

15/03/2026: A Margherita ham and mushrooms to go, can you believe me?! It tasted like nothing, and anyway, don't write cooked ham, write cooked shoulder because that's what you put on top of the pizza.

15/03/2026: We visited this restaurant and were truly impressed. The staff is exceptionally kind, making us feel at ease right away, seating us on a terrace with a breathtaking view of the Amalfi Coast. We ate wonderfully: the seafood appetizers were fresh and plentiful, but the highlight was the pasta alla Nerano, truly fabulous (and the portions were anything but meager!). They also offered us coffee and limoncello at the end of the meal, a gesture we greatly appreciated. The price is very fair and absolutely in line with the area, with the incredible bonus of free parking right on the premises, which is a lifesaver in these parts. 100% recommended, we'll definitely be back!

02/11/2025: Well, the location overlooking the sea helps a lot, especially on sunny days like ours, which provided enchanting lighting and enhanced the expertly furnished interior. IMPORTANT: Plenty of parking!!! But the food didn't disappoint! We had two fish-based starters (with seafood and sardines)—SPECTACULAR! We're not big eaters, so we missed some very promising appetizers, but we finished with a dessert, the lemon delight, which left us truly satisfied and delicious. And then we had two glasses of white wine, filled to a very generous level. Fairly priced. The only flaw is that it's not very convenient (we live in Liguria!), otherwise it would be a restaurant where you can try many of the menu items. And... a very friendly welcome! Professional note, nice business cards, I would revise the menu design a bit. 🙃

28/11/2025: We found "Il Brigante" while researching dinner options during a weekend in Piedimonte Matese. From the atmosphere to the food, everything was perfect. The place is truly welcoming and unique, reminiscent of a medieval tavern, and the food is equally as good. We had a meat dish (skewers and steak with fries and grilled scamorza cheese), which was truly delicious. Vegetarians also have plenty of options, despite the menu featuring many meat dishes: various combinations with scamorza cheese, bruschetta, and side dishes! They also offer pizza, which we'll definitely try next time. In addition to the dinner, the staff are all incredibly nice, and an added bonus is the beautiful view when you arrive at the restaurant! Highly recommended, we'll be back!

16/11/2025: Trattoria Il Brigante in Piedimonte Matese offers a truly excellent dining experience, featuring flavorful, well-prepared, and authentic dishes. The simple, welcoming atmosphere makes the meal even more enjoyable, while the quality of the dishes, flavorful and carefully prepared, leaves a lasting impression. It's a place where you can truly enjoy the food, and where culinary tradition is celebrated with great care.

09/03/2026: We made a reservation, arrived a little early, but were seated anyway. However, a waiter, having ascertained that we were there for the pizza and not the restaurant, told us that the reservation was only for the restaurant, not the pizza. He also added that they had "definitely" already told us this over the phone. Of course, that wasn't the case. The owner tells him that's fine, and he approaches, starting with a "quick-quick." He barely gives us time to read and presses us with a pad and pen in his hand. Hearing that two of us are only drinking water, he doesn't even listen to what the others want and leaves... I have to call him back to tell him I wanted a beer. You shouldn't treat people like that because they won't spend €100 each. This behavior doesn't live up to the pizzeria's reputation.

01/11/2025: Wonderful place in the heart of Cilento! Well-kept beach, stunning sea, and a relaxing atmosphere. The manager is simply the best: always kind, attentive, and with a smile that makes everyone feel welcome. Highly recommended! 🌊☀️

08/09/2025: The beach is average. The food at the restaurant was good, although, as is often the case these days, the prices are exorbitant and the quality is mediocre to acceptable. There's little to see outside, other than the sea.

18/12/2025: I often go there for takeout pizza, but I rarely stop to eat it at the restaurant. The pizza is very good and reasonably priced (that doesn't mean the ingredients are of poor quality), but honesty is key. It could use a little updating, but otherwise, it's still my favorite.

22/11/2025: A pleasant discovery. We stumbled upon this place by chance and were pleasantly surprised. The place isn't big but it's very welcoming, the staff is very friendly, and the ingredients are top-quality. The pizzas were really good, as were the appetizers. We'll definitely be back!

10/03/2026: I went with some friends and we tried several pizzas. All very good and well-topped. The gluten-free option is also excellent for those who need it. A worthwhile place.

10/03/2026: I had lunch at Saltingola and I have to say I really enjoyed it. I had the whole wheat pizza, and it was very light and delicious. The service was quick and the staff were very friendly. I'll definitely be back.
